Chapter 11: Strange Place
Kaya's POV
I'm in this uselessly huge room, and I can't think of anything to get out from and all I could hear is growling from my stomach, I'm hungry, wait what how can I be hungry in these situation.
As I was thinking all those a sudden knock came to the door, to which I didn't care to open and sat there on the bed ignoring, when someone came in.
"Madame, The prince asked you to change into these and come down for dinner"
"Tell him to get me the hell out of here, and I'm not coming to any stupid dinner with him"
I yelled at the top of my voice making all the guards hear me outside my room, I went ahead and took the dress from the Maid's hand and tore it from top to bottom and handed it to her
"you can go back and show this to him and say him that to hell with him"
After the maid went away I calmed myself and searched for something to break the window but first I locked the huge door after that I went for the stool beside the bed and banged on the window but the guards heard the clanking voice of the broken glasses.
I looked back and they were trying to break the window but I knew this was my last chance to escape so I climbed up the window sill and jumped out of the window.
I ran towards the north side of the huge Mansion as no one was there, before I could step forward I heard those guards approaching towards me.
Oh no ! what should I do now, I can't think of anything but then I saw a huge shelf left on the corner beside the bushes maybe it was broken, it didn't matter I went and hid behind the shelf and covered my mouth with my hands to make sure they don't hear my breathing or panting.
Luckily I came out of there after 5 mins after they left and thankfully I didn't get caught I could hear there footsteps dissappearing.
Without giving a second thought I ran towards the forest , it was filled with tall straight trees without any sun falling on the ground, the forest was giving an eerie vibe to me and I was getting scared but I'd rather die here than being there with Lucas .
while running I tripped over a stone and got hurt on my knees, it was bleeding but still I had to run.
I wasn't able to run because of the wound, so I decided to stop for a bit and I sat down on top of the stone, I was short of breath and I was thirsty.
I looked around the forest more clearly and it felt like maybe I've seen this forest somewhere before. I looked around the same trees the same vibe and I was in same condition too but I couldn't remember where have I seen this.
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard several footsteps approaching. I didn't wait any longer and got up and started running the opposite way .
I ran and ran when i finally came ta a dead end, wait it was clouds there was nothing at the ending of the forest but just clouds and I couldn't see anything but all whitish in colour . hell where am is all I could think at this point.
I took my steps backwards when finally I hit a hard wall behind my back, no it wasn't a wall it was chest, a masculine chest.
I turned around and saw him , he was standing there infront of me
"Hello Love!"
He said mockingly while grabbing me by my waist and pulling me towards his chest before he bought his face near my ears and said
"I expected you would be obidient, but here you disappoint me again, should I punish you"
My cheeks flamed red in anger before I pushed him backward and slapped him tight in his face.
He was silent for a minute before grabbing my thighs and held me by his shoulder to which was caught off guarded and couldn't do anything but yell and hit him on his back .
We reached the mansion when he threw me onto the couch and in the living room which was too much empty in case of people nobody was there.
He climbed over me and held my hands tight with one of his hands above my head and pressing them down on the soft fabric of the couch. While his other hand held my jaw tight and slihty pulled up towards his lips .
He came closer and his lips trying to meet mine when a tear flowed down my cheeks. He held me that way for a minute while staring at my eyes when he finally stepped down and helped me up sit on the couch. My dress was already too revealing and at that point I was getting too much uncomfortable, but for my surprise he placed a shawl over my shoulder covering my upper body.
"If I want I can do everything and keep you here without your will "
"I am here without my will" I replied my voice breaking
"Listen Kaya, I love you and I want you to be with me but not like this I know it was my fault to take you here without your will, but trust me I don't want this and I want you to love me too and for that I need a chance to prove myself and show you my true Identity, I want to be completely honest with you "
"Honesty, is not something you know, you've been lying to me since day one, and I can never trust you "
"Give me ten days so that I can prove myself, so that I can show you my love"
"I'll never love you, and I don't want to do anything with you"
"Please Kaya, i want a chance to make everything right if after ten days I fail then I promise you you'll never see me again but for that I need you to give me ten days "
For the first time I saw honesty in his eyes but I wasn't able to decide what to say but my every instinct wanted to give a chance to this man
"Fine, if after ten days I don't fall for you you will let me go but for that you need to be completely honest with me starting with your true identity "
"My name is Darius, and I'm the crown prince of Citadel"
Before i could react or say anything my stomach grumbled and I was too hungry.
