Chapter 3: Chapter two
The semester exams took place so quietly and were a bit tense because of the exam questions given by the lecturer. In the classroom, Sunny took several deep breaths because the answers she got from her brain didn't synergize or connect. Sometimes Sunny has to exhaust her brain just to get the perfect answer in Sunny's opinion. And when she saw that one person had left the class as a sign that that person had done her exam, Sunny's head grew hot, because she was afraid that she would be the last to leave the class.
Her eyes kept looking here and there while thinking about the answer, cold sweat was already pouring from her temples. Beside Sunny's desk, Panji was looking at her with a smile on his face.
"Sttt..."
Sunny looked up, saw that Panji was winking at Sunny. His lips moved soundlessly. Which shows, "Are you done yet?"
Sunny looked away, didn't answer because she was busy writing to finish her assignment. There was no time for jokes at a time like this.
Her head was lifted again when she saw Rangga, his classmate, standing with him while collecting his exam sheets. When Rangga looked at Sunny, the man smiled and said 'excited' silently. Making Sunny feel awkward and go back to her exams.
Speaking of Ranga. The tall man, with the Asian face, or Sunny's friends always calls him 'Oppa', the Korean word for 'darling', is currently close to Sunny.
Their ticking started when they first entered college, at that time Sunny had no friends at all because she did not attend the orientation period which was carried out before entering college. Sunny who had no friends or acquaintances at the time was sitting in the front alone. Busy looking around, saw that the people in the class were busy talking to remember the orientation period yesterday.
While continuing to look around, her eyes accidentally caught one person watching her from afar. Sunny feels her body swell from being watched. Sunny's curiosity to see who it was, Sunny finally turned her head, and right at the end of the bench near the entrance, at her, and smiling when their eyes met. The dazed Sunny finally pointed at herself stupidly and joined in a stiff smile before hastily turning her face away with a blush on her cheeks.
The man is very handsome, his style is very cool, for Asian size, his English is very good. And if she is not mistaken, even during the introduction in front of the class, he said he was born in the same city as Sunny. Which is automatic, he grew up in this city. No wonder it's not a very good language.
What Sunny thought at that time, surely the person will be popular soon after this semester is over.
And it's been proven that until now Rangga is still the most wanted man on Sunny campus. And if known further, Rangga is very kind, smart, and also humorous. Typical popular guys. It will be a very lucky woman who will be his partner in the future.
Lapse of a week after the day of college admission took place. Rangga often sends her a chat, just a light chat or small talk or sometimes an invitation to go out to meet.
And because of that, they were close to each other until now. A very compatible couple according to people. Sunny and Rangga's friends said that it was like seeing twins with different parents. And must be united because of a mate from God.
Finally, Sunny's exam papers were successfully filled out. Sunny immediately got up from her chair, walked to the lecturer's desk to collect the sheets, and left feeling undecided, unsure whether the contents were true or not. But for that Sunny won't bother, as long as Sunny tries her best, she won't betray the result. Moreover, Sunny has a life motto, do it, get it done, forget it. So don't worry about the result.
When she came out of class, Sunny only saw Rangga reading a book and some friends who were not very close to her. Sunny's friends don't seem to have finished their exams yet.
Rangga raised his head, smiled as he stretched out his hand, a code for Sunny to sit next to him. "Worked, right?"
Sunny welcomed the outstretched hand, "heum!" Sunny murmured. "Why did you do it so fast? Even though it was really difficult."
Rangga smiled at Sunny's grumbling, "study." He said, "You're also quick to leave. Your friends haven't left yet."
"I was just excited when you said excitedly to me."
Rangga laughed loudly, Sunny's witty answers always managed to make him laugh. One of Sunny's traits caught his attention.
"Are you sure the answer is right?"
"The important thing is to be sure, the effort will not betray the results."
"What are you doing then?" Ranga looked at her amused.
"Learned from last night, memorized it very enthusiastically, while making small notes, here," Sunny showed the notes that Sunny made last night to Rangga proudly. "Continue, pray to God to be given smoothness."
Rangga laughed again, his hand unable to pinch Sunny's cheek, and rubbed his head.
Sunny also smiled, while chatting lightly and determining a place for them to date, Sunny's friends left the room one by one.
It was Windy who hurriedly took out a note and checked whether the answer was correct or not. There was Bagas who laughed when he left the class because of his inconsequential answer. There was Raja who smiled resignedly. There is Betra who panics because of the wrong answer, and there is Desty who doesn't care about the result like Sunny.
"I'll be there first," Sunny stood up. "If you want to go, let me know."
Rangga nodded and let Sunny gather with her friends. With him who followed his friends.
"That's crazy, I answered wrong on number 3 earlier," Betra's voice was heard as Sunny approached.
"Be patience Tra, only one fault." Bagas replied, "It won't affect the grade. It's still good!" Both hands raised thumbs.
"Yes, if you answer. It's me, different from you!"
"What the hell..." Bagas complained, "how come you're so sensitive!"
Sunny laughed and patted Bagas's back. Bagas who realized it immediately whined at Sunny.
"Sun, why Betra is always angry?!" Bagas asking with the puppy's eyes.
Sunny laughed loudly. "It's okay... isn't it true that if you answer, the results will be good?"
"Ugh, Rajaa..."
Raja just smiled briefly and looked at Sunny. His face looked like he wanted to ask something but was held back by something else. Sunny who realized it, cleared her throat briefly and faced Raja.
"How were you? OK?" Sunny asked.
Raja smiled, "Okay, but, there is one question I can't answer."
"Oh?" Sunny said, "Must be number 3? Just like Betra? Because I'm also number 3, I want to choke myself when I read it."
"Yes, right." said Raja. "It's really hard. That's why I was the last one out."
Sunny nodded in agreement, question number 3 does indeed make high blood pressure a little. In addition to the many answers, the problem was that he told the person who was working on the problem to make a data graphic, which Sunny was confused about what graphic she meant. Where the answer takes up a full page. Sunny's hands were sore.
"We are going now?"
A baritone voice sounded behind Sunny. She immediately turned around and saw Rangga who grabbed her waist and smiled at Sunny's friends.
"How were you guys? Safe?" Rangga asked Sunny's friends.
"Dududuu~ the new bride has just arrived." Bagas's words invited other cheers from Sunny's friends.
"Yeah... where are you going? You guys are always romantic." Another answer came from Sunny's friends.
"Yes," another replied. "You can't separate it, it's sticky like a postage stamp."
"Don't be jealous!" Sunny retorted in annoyance.
Ranga chuckled. "Yeah, don't be jealous of us."
"So, it's been almost a year since it's been inaugurated before."
Betra's words made Rangga laugh out loud, Rangga's hand that was on Sunny's waist fell slowly.
"It's already been Tra..." Desty answered. "The proof is getting stickier, both of you."
Wow, this conversation between Sunny's friends has made Sunny and Rangga uncomfortable. Unfortunately, Betra's words are true. Why did he and Rangga not officially have a status yet? if you look at their track record, they are close or that approach has been going on for a very long time. And from later on when their date became awkward. Sunny had better end the conversation.
"That's it! Right now? The longer you stay here, the weirder your speech will become." Sunny hastily chimed in.
Ranga nodded with a smile. "Okay guys, we gonna let's take it out first. Bye."
And the conversation of Sunny's friends with Rangga made Rangga quieter than usual. And made Sunny confused about what to do.
