Chapter 3: Meeting the band
"Is she awake?"
"She looks cute"
Whispering and voices made me stir up and my head was already throbbing before I can even open my eyes. Last night was one more in which I went to bed crying. This new routine sounds quite exhausting.
"Good morning Pretty" A deep voice talked in my ear. Who is this man and why is he so close?
"Hey, keep your distance or Sky will kill you" a guy with ash purple hair threatened.
"But she is tempting in purple" the red-haired pouted.
And that's when I realized that I am surrounded by three guys in almost nothing but lingerie.
"Excuse me but can I have some space, please?"
It took them a few minutes before the same guy with ash purple hair stood up pulling the two others with him.
"We will be in the lounge, get ready and come eat"
The third one had messy brown hair, his eyes were the same color as mine. Greenish with a glimpse of brown and he confused me with an intrigued look on his face as he walked out.
We don’t even know each other’s names and they are so invasive. Universe, why me?
I quickly made my way to the bathroom, freshening up and putting on some decent clothing. A cute sweater and some black legging are perfect at least now I am covered.
As soon as I opened the door, I could catch their commotion. Though the penthouse was large and divided into two parts the suit I was in with a big bedroom, a bathroom, and a walk-in closet, and on the other side, there were 4 other rooms that I did not get the opportunity to check, I could hear them clearly.
Walking to the living room was harder than expected, I tried to be hopeful, I did my best to see the good part in this situation but my heart was beating so fast that I am convinced it will explode soon.
"Good morning all, My name is Serenity Sparks" I greeted as soon as I stepped in, grabbing their attention.
The red-haired and the brown-haired were sitting on the couch laughing at something. While the one with ash purple hair was picking up a broken cup from the floor, but as soon as I approached, he stood up marching towards me " Nice to meet you, I am Kyle, Kyle Lee"
He shook my hand with a warm smile, he was dressed casually and he provided reassuring vibes.
The red-haired did not make any attempt to move while the other one jumped off the couch and closed the distance watching my face carefully “ She looks like me, I don’t fancy her”
"Neither do I" I mumbled to myself when a hand enclosed my waist frightening me.
"Watch your mouth, little toy"
I recognized the voice, The pervert devil who will soon be my husband.
"Sky, you are back" another voice came around the corner and I was shocked when I glanced at the owner.
He was one of my best artists and a yelp left my mouth before he can speak "Cody Co-Connor".
"Look like she knows us so we can skip the introduction" The red-haired man whom I still ignore the name pronounced.
"Welcome to the family Serenity" Connor stepped extending his hand. He was shorter than the rest of them with paler skin and black hair covering his forehead. Blue eyes and a cute smile. He is perfect. He is my idol after all.
"I am honored to meet you, I became a fan since your first mixtape, I can't believe you are here, that must be a dream, I never thought I’d get to meet you in my life, oh ..." I was spitting bullshit in front of my only idol, I must be dumb.
" Cody, it looks like my wife is already under your charm but as you know I am the 1st to get a taste" Sky commented.
What a disrespectful creature!
I turned around trying to escape his grip from my waist but it only tightened.
"Can you please let go?" I sought.
"Why should I?"
"Please it hurts" I pleaded my case again.
Now that I am looking at him in daylight with less anxiety, I can see understand why he is a womanizer, this man is one of the most handsome ones I saw in my life, Sadly, his character is just the opposite of his looks.
His body is well built, his eyes shining with the same coldness. Even though he was scary, the short distance between us made me uneasy, in a strangely good way.
It took me a minute to realize that his grip on me loosened yet I was too entranced to step back.
"Sky, can I talk to you for a minute?" Kyle asked walking to a room that I supposed was his. Nice timing, I was saved.
Meanwhile, I was again left with my idol and two others who already lost their interest and went back to their phones.
"I made some pancakes, are you hungry?" Cody suggests.
"Oh yes please"
"So tell me, what bought you here Serenity? you look the opposite of excited, your whole body is screaming, I want to run away." He asked as soon as I took my place on the island separating the living room from the kitchen while he prepared a plate for me.
"My bad luck and my naivety, I guess"
"You make it sound like you are here against your will, Are you aware that a lot of girls dream to marry Skyler?" He tried to lighten the mood and I was grateful.
"No offense but I had a bigger dream than being with that ars*hole, excuse my french, I did not mean to insult your friend, it’s just a lot"
"You got to meet me, isn't that good enough?" He teased making me smile and changing the subject.
"By the way, I am sorry for earlier, I am a huge fan, I did not have enough time to control my thoughts, and also your music is my escape place, so yeah I did not mean to scare you."
"My music? Which of our albums do you like?"
"I don't know any of the band albums, I discovered you individually once in Spotify and then I searched for more of your songs, and I got addicted to the 1st mixtape, I knew you were in a boyband but your own music and the band music is completely different and I think yours was more my style so I did not search enough the band. If I knew, I’d end up here, I would have done it. But as you can see, I mean ...” A blush started forming on my cheeks but he interrupted.
"You are babbling again, but I am happy to hear that my music helped. Don't worry and let me introduce them to you because they can be teasing sometimes and hearing that you don't know any of them will slightly hurt their ego, the red hair guy is Theo Hustin, he is like an unpredictable kid, he comes up as blunt most of the time but he has a kind heart. The other one is Brian Collins, he is cute and lovely but extremely flirty so be careful. You already met Kyle, he is the leader, and lastly Skyler or Sky your soon-to-be husband."
"At least now, I have a small idea, thank you, it's really exhausting to accommodate to everything. But I am glad you are here. The best thing in the last 2 days."
And just like that our discussion flew by, we talked about my major, movies, music and I learned a lot from him about their tour and life. I was supposed to hear those details from my husband but he is a pervert.
I was laughing so hard and my stomach started hurting from all the pancake I ate when abruptly the front door opened and I began to detect the clicking of heels around the house.
"She is back" Cody murmured.
