Chapter 5: Meeting Black Cat e Spider-man
Cedric had left the house with the favor of night, the sun had already set, as he walked through the empty streets of queens, he headed into several dark alleys to be able to find some small thug for some useful information.
But since he couldn't perceive any people with malicious intent, he decided to use [Shadow] to move between the rooftops and get a better view, until at one point he perceived two souls a little higher than normal humans chasing each other.
Cedric stopped above a building as he watched the direction of the two people approaching downtown New York.
"If they are the people I think they are, my plans will have to be modified," Cedric thought with interest.
[Umbrakinesis] + [Hirenkyaku]
Cedric used Umbrakinesis to form a mask to cover his face because he didn't want anyone to know about all the abilities he has.
He then used Hirenkyaku which is an advanced Quincy movement technique to run across rooftops to get to their location. It allows the user to move at high speed by riding the stream of Reishi created under their feet. And it allows them to keep up and overpower opponents faster depending on the user's skill.
Cedric could tell he was an expert in Hirenkyaku thanks to Ywach's memories, but it would take a long time before he reached his level.
Cedric was moving at a supersonic speed that no normal human could see. When he reached the vicinity of their location, he used Umbrakinesis to hide in the shadows so that his presence would not be detected.
On a rooftop near Cedric, he could see two figures who had just finished chasing each other, talking to each other. Even at this distance, Cedric could tell they were very tense and were waiting for their opponent's next move to counterattack.
The first figure Cedric saw was a tall, shapely woman with platinum blonde white hair and blue eyes. Her outfit consisted of a black dress with white accents. The second was a man in a costume that followed a blue and red color scheme with a spider symbol, the size of a fist and centered just above his chest.
"Black Cat was really nice about appearing when I needed guidance...How useful does Spider-Man have me? Maybe... Yes, unless he decides to disrupt my plans. In fact, as an 'ally' he'll be more useful for interacting with some people in the future." Cedric thought as he sat down in a comfortable position to listen to their conversation.
"Cat, return what you stole," Spider-Man asked pointing to a fist-sized gem in her hand.
"You're really pushy, you'll never find a girl, you're still so stiff~" coquettishly replied Black Cat moving to the side in a quick motion to dodge Spider-Man's webs as Black Cat made a quick counter-attack with her claws.
But thanks to his spider senses, Spider-Man was able to dodge the attack by jumping backward
"Cat why don't we stop fighting, I don't want to hurt you, give back the gem you stole!" said Spider-Man, but before he could finish speaking, thanks again to his spider senses he managed to dodge a kick aimed at his head.
"I'm sorry little spider but I'm not going to give anything back today~" replied Black Cat in a flirtatious tone, continuing her attack.
But this time the spider man didn't back down and counterattacked with his web shooter, as Black Cat tried to dodge the attack the gem in her hand slipped from her hand, this moment of distraction was more than enough for the spider man to immobilize her with the webs
"Release me you stupid spider" yelled Black Cat trying to free herself from the webs as she groaned, Spider-Man ignored her.
As Spider-Man crouched down to pick up the fallen gem, he felt his spider senses lose control from the great danger that was approaching.
"[Heilig Bogen- Heilig Pfeil]" whispered Cedric as he fired three reishi arrows at high speed at a single Spider-Man target.

Spirit weapons are weapons that Quincy can create by collecting reishi in the air.
Heilig Bogen: A standard bow formed by traditional Quincy as a primary weapon for shooting arrows. Modern Quincy who still use the Heilig Bogen can customize its appearance and size to suit their personal motivations and strengths, such as a more decorative design or a crossbow
Heilig Pfeil: these are the main attack used by the Quincy. Spiritual energy formed in arrow form that is capable of injuring and/or killing spiritual beings. Arrows can be created by collecting Reishi, absorbing Reiryoku from an opponent, or collecting spiritual energy, giving the Quincy many ways to form their arrows.
