Chapter 8: Chapter 6 - Quest
The prairies were empty yet peaceful, the abundance of nature as far of the eyes can see, the grass sways...
swoosh... swoosh... swoosh...
It was sounding similar to ocean tides, the breeze pushing the swaying grass in one direction, the amounting of flowers were few, tall trees acting as a boarder from the grassland, the carriage was shaking from the inconsistent rocky and smooth path. It gave a feeling of freedom, as the weight on my legs and shoulders felt lighter.
The carriage stops at the requested town, as I looked around I didn't notice anything special. I quickly find the man in charge and he tells me that there are magical creatures in the forest nearby that need to be eliminated. Apparently these magical creatures seem restless and are trying to expand territory.
I quickly made it to the forest with anemo magic, as I start walking deeper into the forest. I spotted something with my [Keen Eyes] skill.
[Keen Eyes] - {LVL MAX}:
Able to see up to 120 yards long in the direction you are looking at.
(Lets the user pick up/see minor things that are moving, as the user can see anything, as up to the size 'mini' )
(Lets the user pick out any non-distinct & minor details on objects/people)
(Lets the user see grey outlines of objects/people invisible if it's/they're moving)
'Gorians...'
Also known as 'Forest Vulcans' I didn't even try to fight these when I was a kid, as I saw in the show that Vulcans can be very strong. I remember one of them knocked Natsu off a mountain. I mean he did caught Natsu off guard, but It never hurts to be cautious.
I immediately cast my magic "Anemo Magic: Excalibur!" a magic circle was under the gorian, as it immediately activated and a whirlwind of wind blades start to slash it into pieces. Deep cuts laid on the gorian's body as it soon collapsed.
Know that I'm still pretty far away from the gorian, I was 70-80 yards away from it. My anemo magic grew exponentially when it comes to control. I only tapped 25% of potential because I only practiced magic for a very short time every week. I also get a magic boost from being close to nature, and now I can control air and create winds that are 300 yards away from me.

'So I'm hunting gorians then...'
I spread my observation haki around the forest, as dozens of magical circles shining brightly enough that it could be seen if someone was looking over the forest. As dozens of pillars of wind rise up only to disappear in a few seconds, and it keep happening every minute.
'Sigh... that was so lackluster'
'Maybe I need a bigger challenge'

'hmm... ' "Use Random Item Ticket"

"WHAT?" I yelled.
'I didn't know you can get Pokemon eggs... wait a minute'
"Shop"
I immediately go click [Items] and under the [Pokemon] section...
[x1 Random Pokemon Egg: 5,000,000 SP]
'Wow that's expensive!' and then I realize my luck stat is pretty high...
'Hah! Screw flying cats I have an electric mouse!'
I immediately take out the egg from my inventory. I observe the egg, as it had brown stripes around it and a big red circle on top of it. I wanted to know if I need an incubator or something, and then a screen pops out.
[Would host like to immediately hatch the egg? Cost: 5,000 SP [Yes] [No] ]
'Is the system doing this on purpose?...'
I press [Yes] anyways because I really wanted to see how cute this thing is. In the real live action movie, pichu and pikachu were still cute. The egg starts hatching and an extremely cute small yellow mouse with wide ears tipped with black fur, big wide brown eyes, iconic pink cheeks, a body with a small frame and black spike fur around its neck, a black rectangular tail, two cute furry nubs acting as its hands, and feet that somewhat resemble cat paws. It looked like an extremely fluffy plush doll.
"Pii~"
My face was as stern as ever, and it made me kind of menacing. I didn't show an expression, as I kept my frown. Though my [Gamer's Mind] was keeping me from screaming like a fan girl.
[Ding! New Function Unlocked [Bonds] ]
[Would you like to form a bond with Pichu? [Yes] [No] ]
I immediately press yes.
[Bond Established! Congratulations!]
[Bonds : Pichu]
'Can you explain bonds to me please?'
[Of course! The [Bond] function acts similarly to "Beast Tamer" in what other worlds call it. Bonds can die, but they can respawn after a day. There will be no penalty for them dying, however, they can get angry with you if it keeps happening. There are other functions as well but I'm letting you find that all yourself! I already know you just wanted to find out if pichu can die, hehe...]
I pick up pichu and hold it in my arms and it was darn soft.
'Is this fur of the gods?'
"Chu~" it smiles at me.
"GODS WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?!" I yelled.
I look around and see that I'm still in the forest.
'ah, I should tell the mayor and get home quick'

Bob: "Oh my what is that?" as he looks at pichu with awe.
"I found a pretty big egg in the forest and it hatched into this thing. It kept following me so I decided to keep it" I replied. My [Liar] skill was activated.
Eve and the others just stare at it.
"Pii~" as it raises its nubs for hands.
Everyone's eyes started shining...
"CUTE!!!" they all yelled.
Quickly everyone rushed at me and was trying to pet it. I quickly used anemo magic and flew in the air. I tightly hugged pichu... "My precious..." I stare at them all with an even more menacing expression on my face.
'Gods I think I'm turning into Gollum..."
After a few minutes I hesitatingly decided to let everyone play with it. Bob tells me what I named it and I just said, "Sparky"
Bob: "Can it use magic?"
I nod.
"Pichu use [Thunder Shock]"
Pichu dishes out its electricity at Ichiya who was perversely sniffing it.
Bob: "Great! It can be part of the guild! HIBIKI!"
Hibiki: "Yes! I'll get the stamp right away!"
I returned home with pichu, as I got into bed I started staring the bright full moon that shone through my window. I see why god removes people's memories. I could taste bitterness in my mouth, as I felt more depressed...
"Pii~"
I see pichu snuggling in my arms trying to cheer me up. I guess pet therapy actually works... That night, I slept more easily than ever before in both my lives.
A/N: Please read the auxiliary chapter that was uploaded today! And this will be the only Pokemon he will have, unless people demand I should add more...
