“We’ll all be downstairs to pay our respects before we leave.” Armand led Marc to the door.

January 1st, 10 A.M.

While the Alphas were still in the conference room, Armand’s cell phone rang.

Armand answered and said, “La Marche.” After a few minutes, he covered one end of the phone with his hand. “It’s Detective Murphy. He’s at the Port Authority Bus Station. Two officers tried to prevent Lorraine from getting on a bus, she broke free and she barricaded herself in the ladies room with two hostages.”

Armand listened again. He relayed the information to the other Alphas. “They plan on storming the ladies room.” Armand ended the call.

“The officers that have her cornered are loup garou.” Detective Murphy sounded nervous. “It’s been suggested that we shoot to kill and get rid of the problem rather than have Alpha Thierry take her to the pit.”
