Chapter 6: Ch. 06 Future planning and an Idea for invention.
My physical and Mental training was going well and showing good results, my control over magic flow was increasing and the vessel had also increased in size albeit still being small. I was getting faster and was able to recall everything faster and in turn, it increased my productivity.
I had also started to company my Maa to her work so that I could see the healers do their job, my understanding of the human body had increased immensely because I was reading muggle books on medicine and was also reading the research papers on microbiology.
On the runes side of things, I started to do my own research I was working on a project that could be useful in the future for a variety of purposes but since I couldn't imbue magic into the runes I had to ask for Kalki's help. 'In the lab' "You need my help with runes isn't that subject under your grandpa's care?"
I said "Yes, but I want to surprise my family with this can you help me?"
"Alright, I will help you with your little project what is it that you want to make?"
I gave her an ambitious look and disclosed my idea of the project needless to say she was shocked to hear what I proposed the idea.
"Kid if we can make this will revolutionize the wizarding world". With that Kalki agreed to be a partner in the project.
After our agreement, we both started to work on our project. Kalki also started to increase the level of potions I would be making and also said something interesting "On your 10 birthday I will give you a big present".
"I will be eagerly waiting for that day then" and thing to add Dante also helped me making potions and would always be present with me when I was making potions.
Another thing after a few weeks my Maa and Dante became best friends.
I was still working on my mindscape it was still just a boxy structure with no details. occlumency training is tough but it is beneficial to me so I still tried to better myself and now there were about 5 layers of protection and I could now sense Mrs. Viswakarma sending a probe in my mind even though it was a faint feeling but I still could make it out.
We were sitting in the study room drinking tea and she asked me something "Aaditya do you think mind arts is the study of the mind?"
I was not surprised by the question because these kinds of questions were common amongst us I answered "I think that it is the study of soul more precisely because I think that all the memories are stored in our soul and is only accessed by minds so that is why many people think it is the study of mind and not of soul cause to prove it you would need someone who has memories of that person's old life which practically impossible."
She said, "These were my exact thought on the subject but many people think that I am really reaching for a meaning that is not there."
I replied, "There will be many people trying to hold pioneers down but it is almost impossible to do so because of the conviction that those pioneers have".
After our tea break, we went back to practicing.
While I was sitting on the living room couch and Dante was on my lap I was reading a book about transmutation it was during noon the door swung open and a guy looking in his mid 20's was standing there he had an average build had black hair and was about 6'11" he was wearing a typical archeologist outfit and was covered in the dust he had 2 large suitcases with him and was wearing a stupid smile he ran up to me and put me in his arms and started to swing me around and asked, "how is my dear little nephew?".
I got sick and threw up Dante looked at my uncle and was about to pounce on him I said "Dan..te thi...s is my uncle Rakesh Gupta".
My uncle is an archeologist and is always in search of artifacts around the world that is why I don't see him much he also has an eccentric personality it was a good thing that mother was not here to see this otherwise uncle would have been dead by now.
"How are you uncle? and where are you coming from? you look and smell really bad" he was smelling like a cat ate something and popped it out and pissed on it for fun
He just laughed and answered, "Small price to pay for the knowledge I gained on this trip and as for your questions I am coming from Amazon, I went there to document their ritual magic they use and fell into a swamp."
I told him to take a bath otherwise Maa would very likely kill him and because of the hug that he gave me I also had to take a shower.
After the shower, I saw my parents were back from work and grandpa was back from playing golf they were surprised to see uncle and my maa was absolutely livid to see uncle because he had been gone for months without any explanation, my maa absolutely chewed out my uncle, us three guys were feeling sad for my uncle but not really though after that lecture, we went to have dinner.
After the dinner, my grandpa said "Adi your birthday is coming up in a few weeks you will be 10 now it will be time for your debut in society my friends are eager to meet you ever since they heard about you and you should also decide which school you want to go to most of the schools start their admissions at the age of 10 if you want my opinion Nalanda is a very good school your mom graduated from their or you can go to Takshila your father, me and your grandmother graduated from there."
I gave a stern look to my parents and grandpa and said "I want to go to Hogwarts"
