Chapter 4: Chapter 2 - Plan for The Tiny World
Lewin dresses up and went to the bank, whe he got there a pretty big comotion rised up because he had said he was goin to retrive 4 billion Yenes, to the receptionist. She was a little taken aback, but after contacting her superior and verifying that Lewin indeed had that amount saved on their bank, she quikly put all the money on a separate credit card and gave it to him.
Lewin thanked the receptionist, and when to a rich area of tokyo, right now he was searching for the bigger house he could find, he walked for some minutes he found giant house, or to be more precise, a giant mansion. And stood there at the front gate looking at the giant mansion.
He stoode there for some minutes and didn't notice a servant approching the main gate.
"Hey! What're you doing there?" Asked the servant.
Lewin looked down from the house at the servant and noticed he dressed up like a butler.
"Uh, well, i am here to take care of some... bussines with your boss. Could you call for him?" answered Lewin.
"Bussiness? What kind? I didn't hear anything like that form the owner..." the butler questioned.
'Well, fuck, i knew it wasn't goin to be as smooth as i prefered to...' Lewin complained internally "Uh, Well that's strange, he said he was goin to welcome me personally, and i was sure this was the correct address... Well, nothing i can do about it, sorry for the trouble! I am goin home" Lewin waved at the butler as he left the place.
'Now that i think about it i have never ever Buyed a house, who dealed with this kind of things was Vin... Well Fuck, goin to do some google research then (Author: Yeah me too)'
Lewin got home and picked his laptop that he kept in his wardrobe, and started to search.
Within just 1 hour of research, Lewin found a site called "Lightning Housing" that had a "Luxuous" section, that had lots of luxuous and expensive houses, ranging from 2 million to 500 million yenes.
Lewin Looket at the prices and was a bit taken aback. Maybe he had a bit too much money on his savings....
Lewin scrolled down the page, got the contact number of the Realtor and called him.
"Good evening! I am Sasami Tatamo, how may i help you on this fine day!" Said the Realtor with a happy tone.
"um, i wanted to ask 2 things for you" Lewin said, trying to ignore his strangely happy behavior.
"That should be about a house right? Then ask away, i am gonna do my best to answer your question!" Said the Realtor with another jolt of jy.
Lewin Sweatdroped 'I really don't get along with happy people' he though "Yes it is... So, it's about this house you're selling, on Flower Street 657, Is there a possibility of building a basement there?" Lewin asked while checking the house's address.
"Um, that depend's on what size of a basement you want and how much you're willing to pay, let's say if you pay an extra 40 thousand we can build a 4x6x6-"
Lewin placed a hand on his chin. He knew japan had a very strict building laws that had to be follow no matter what you would be building, he knew that, so a basement would be very dificult to build, if not impossible.
But Lewin had a crusial element in this negotiation.
"...Look.... How much you can do for me with 500 millions?" Lewin asked with low voice
At that moment, on the other side of the call, the Realtor, who was now driving, stoped for a moment, after 3 seconds he understood the message and smiled evilly. 'what a intresting costumer' he though
"...500 million huh? That's a lot, let's see... How much of it can i keep with me after the job is done?" he asked
"Everything that remains of the amount is yours, but don't even dream about saving money from it, so you can come out on top, spend every single cent you have with you to make sure no one even think about stoping the building. Even if you spend it all, don't worry, i am gonna give you more 100 millions after the job is done" Lewin said confidently without hesitation.
"Wow, that's a very generous propose. But you know, i need some guarantee you know? It's dangerous to put my hands on dirty money after all. but don't worry, i don't wanna even MORE money." Reasured the Realtor.
"Well that's the catch, you on't get any" Leisurely answered Lewin.
"Well... That's unespected, but if it's like this then i am sorry, but i can't help you"
"Oooh, No no no, you can, and now you WILL, after all, as long as i can remember you job requires mutual trust from you, and the government. And i can very well be recording this conversation right now" Lewin Treatened
"Haha, sir, please, do you think just this simple conversation is gonna ruin my career? i already had many of those with many people, do you think i am gonna get catched?" the Realtor laughed
"Oh no, then there were more? Nice, but sir, i think you, as much as me know, that just saying that it won't destroy your career won't work, after all, if your job is based on trust, you should want as little of those cases to happen as possible, so even though i won't destroy you, i will end up giving some damage."
"....You're pretty cleaver Sir, Okay i accept, but then may i also assume that you're gonna delete the audio as soon as i am done?" Asked the Realtor, already giving up the negotiation, after all, he had absolutely nothing to lose doing what Lewin had asked.
"You can bet on it." reasured Lewin
"Great, but, there's a ittle problem, i am working on another of these "Deals" right now, so unfortunately you're gonna have to wait till i am done with that thing before we start with your order sir." Warned the Realtor.
"How long is it gonna take in total util the basement is complete?" Asked Lewin
"If it's just a normal basement i guess just around 3 weeks, using all of my man and the top materials. But i am guessing that with that budget you just set, i am guessing that is not gonna be a normal basement, but a giant and very special one, if it's like this... then i think 2 months or somehing?" Guessed the Realtor
"2 months? You guys are pretty eficient aren't you?" Pointed out Lewin.
"I have my methods" The Realtor smiled again.
"Okay, i will be transferring the amout to your account, can you tell it to me?" Asked Lewin
"Sure thing, it's..."
"Hm, i understand I am transferring the money right now" Said Lewin.
"Sir, If i may, by the information i collected in this conversation, i can already guess that whtever you want the basement for, you want to do it fast, could i recoment you another house with a basement for you so stay? It may not be as big as you want, but it's already a start" Suggested the Realtor
"You sure understands fast, sure, give me the address, i am gonna go there tomorrow" Praised Lewin
"Right away sir" The Realtor respectfully said
......
After transferring the 500 millions ot the Realtor, he gave Lewin the address to a house on a district pretty close to where he lived. Lewin spend 1 day packing his things to move out, and other 1 day trying to get emtionally ready to leave the place, after all, in one way or another he was goin to move out, so if he had to, so that he move's out with a clear mind.
After reaching the house, it looked like a pretty normal Middle class japanese house, and the interor also was pretty avarage, excluding for a extra staircase on the kitchen that whent downwards.
On his way to the house, Lewin stoped at a convenience store ans spent a few hundred yenes on food, so he was carrying with him 11 very heavy plastic and paper bags, e placed them down and quikly started to put all the food on the kitchen cabinets.
he was goin to stay the mojority of the time inside the house because he was goin to start evolving his new world, so he had to stock as much food as he could, and he also had to eat it with care, he wanted to avoid leaving his house as much as possible.
