Chapter 10: Shadow clone...
Sora can be seen in the school library seriously reading the book in his hand. The light rays from the outside illuminated the scene of Sora reading the book with a soft yellow glow. The occasional passerby looked at the cute boy illuminate by light with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
They kept quiet for fear of destroying this picturesque scene. After a while, the passerby quietly left.
Sora has been focusing on acquiring more ninja knowledge. Sora is laying a strong foundation knowing the initial period of being a ninja is very important. What is needed is not only combat experience but also knowledge about the refinement of chakra, the acquisition of ninjutsu knowledge, physical exercise, and so on.
So, Sora has been frequently visiting both the school library and public library learning about geography as well as about the written experience of the various famous ninja. Similarly, since being known as a genius in school, many teachers do not hesitate to answer his problems. His gentle and respectful attitude towards them may also be contributing to it.
" hmm... That's it for today," said Sora stretching his hand in the air. After putting the book about chakra splitting he found lying in the corner of the library in its place. Sora said goodbye to the librarian and quickly left for training.
Looking at the back of the boy, the young female assistant was reluctant and sad for not talking to the cute boy but cheered knowing the boy was a frequent visitor of the library.
For the young librarian, looking at the cute white-haired boy can be one of her few pleasures in life. So, she sometimes wanted to talk to the boy but she was quite shy so she was quite regretful for not having a conversation till now.
Sora did not know the regret of the librarian but continued his way towards the forest where he is going to train a new Jutsu. Coming to the innermost part of the forest and Sora routinely took a lap in the forest searching for people who might stumble into his training midway.
This habit was developed by Sora so as not to spread his secret. Sora often trained his eye of death in this forest and letting others know the secret of the eye is as dangerous as telling Orochimaru that you are an Uchiha.
After finding no one. Sora quickly weaved the hand sign and said "Shadow clone Jutsu". A burst of cloud appeared near Sora. And from the cloud appeared a clone of Sora who looked identical to Sora. Sora touched the clone and finding that it has a physical body, Sora let out a bright smile on his somewhat tired face.
After a few seconds, the clone disappeared while Sora sat down for a while and focused on filling his chakra to practice the jutsu a few more times.
What Sora was practiced was the infamous shadow clone jutsu. This jutsu is a certified B rank technique. This jutsu was most used by the original protagonist, Naruto.
To be a signature jutsu of Naruto, the technique was obviously not as simple as making a double, it was a jutsu that transferred the experiences of the clone to the user. This means that if the clone trains for 1 hour then, the host will obtain the experience of training for an hour.
This technique is even more exaggerated by Naruto as he could make thousands of clones at once which can simply overwhelm the enemy. Not to mention, shadow clones can be used for intelligence gathering, decoys, or keeping opponents preoccupied when necessary.
Sora has coveted this jutsu a lot. Not only can it boost his learning, but he could also use it to distract multiple enemies and focus on killing them one by one using the eye of death. Though Sora can only make a single clone with his chunin level of chakra, for now, Sora has full intention of abusing this jutsu in the near future.
What Sora is lacking now is not only jutsu, the shadow clone was after experimenting for almost a year. The long time was also because of the lack of chakra. Sora needed to wait till his chakra was full to practice this jutsu again.
Though Sora's chakra has reached the level of chunin. It is still not enough. Sora has been thinking of improving his chakra level. From the canon, the quickest ways to gain abundant chakra is either to get a tailed beast, bloodline, sage mode, and the almighty Hashirama cells but all these methods are not available to current Sora.
So, Sora still went to the stable way of training his physical and mental energy as chakra is the combination of both of them. Sora usually trains his physical body by wearing the weights and pushing the body to the limit.
He usually buys some medical ointments and applies them so that his body could withstand the harsh training. This method has strengthened his body a lot.
For the spiritual energy, Sora already had more spiritual energy than his peers but withstanding the tough physical training, his mental state has also been strengthened. Similarly, he also used the method of building up the chakra in his body to spin into a tight spiral.
This method was taught by Jiraiya to Naruto to make the Rasengan. But this training also strengthened the spiritual energy as the training requires precise chakra control. Another way, Sora strengthened his spiritual energy was by reading books and learning meditation.
These methods allowed a civilian like Sora who has no additional bonuses of bloodlines, to surpass his peers and quickly raise his chakra to the level of chunin. Sora asked the instructors at the academy about his chakra level, and when the instructor checked it, he was amazed by the chunin level chakra he possessed. So, Sora knew these methods were working.
In addition, after his first paycheck, Sora bought the chakra testing paper and found that he had all the basic chakra. Though this might not seem much now in the early stages as Sora does not have access to more techniques, this was a very good thing as Sora can easily learn varieties of jutsu later on.
Different jutsu will make Sora more versatile and give him more options on the battlefield. The future Kakashi was feared as Kakashi of the thousands jutsu later on due to the varieties of jutsu which he knew which made him very hard to deal with.
So, Sora knows his advantages and he will try to maximize his advantages to truly be at the top.
