Chapter 2: Chapter - 1

Two years before in Downingtown High school

(Flashback)

"I am proud to announce that all of the students have graduated. Thank you all for coming today and graduates. Good luck in the real world, have a nice day, everyone." Mr. Smith said and walked out of the hall.

"Congratulations, Noha, now you have an option to go to college or even work for our company," Eric said, putting his arm over my shoulder.

"Can't I do both for now? I will need money to pay for my college after all," Noha said, pushing his arm away from his shoulder and sit at the entrance of the college.

"Yes, but you will be exhausted and didn't have much time to study through," Eric said, sitting on his bike.

"I will manage somehow. I always do," Noha argued with him.

"Fine by me, but make sure you don't overdo it. Hey, here comes Rebecca," Eric said, looking at Rebecca walking towards them.

"Noha, we can finally be together now. We are graduated," Rebecca said to Noha while ogling at him.

"I will see you later, Noha, at your graduation party. My girlfriend is waiting for me," Eric said, putting the helmet on his head and drive away from them.

"How come he has a girlfriend, I thought he hated girls," Rebecca asks while watching Eric Driving away from them.

"He doesn't like girls from here, and he has high expectations towards them just like I do, " Noha said, standing up from the stairs.

"Oh, I know, Noha, that is why you have me as your girlfriend," Rebecca said, clinging over his arm.

"Rebecca, I want to talk to you about us," Noha said, removing her from his arm.

"Me too," Rebecca said, coming closer to Noha. As he was about to open his mouth, she cut him off.

"Wait, me first, let me tell you, your father has hired me as your assistant, so when you join the company, I will join too," Rebecca said while grinning like an idiot. Mahir, one of Noha's best friends, passed through when he heard them talking and decided to eardrop on them.

"Listen, Rebecca. I don't know what my father told you. There is nothing between us now. I only dated you for high school purposes. I dated you because you score A or A+ in every subject, not because I like you or something, so don't expect anything from me." Noha said to her, and her smile faded away.

"I don't believe you, anyway I am leaving. See you later," Rebecca said and walked away from there.

* I told you she would not break up with you * Mahir thought while looking at Rebecca walking away from him. Noha signs and walks towards his car, and drives away from there.

It takes only half an hour to reach home. As he is about to ring the bell, his mother opens the door and takes him in his embrace.

"Congratulation, Noha, you are a graduate now. I am so proud of my son," Lilly said, kissing Noha on his head.

"Thanks, mom," Noha said, smiling at her.

"Is dad, home?" he asks her.

"Yes, he is in his study room. I am sorry we did not feel able to come to your graduation ceremony, dear, if only my health has given was good, " Lilly said, opening the door wide for him to enter inside the mansion.

"It's okay, mom, I understand. Eric was there for me anyway," Noha said and kissed her cheek, then walked towards his room. He had a shower and changed into fresh clothes. After that, Noah goes to his father's study room and knocks on the door.

"Come in," his father said from inside the room, and Noah walked inside the study room.

"Father, I haven't started working, and you started choosing girls as my secretary? I don't want girls to work with me. They want more than just to work with me. I want a boy or a man as my secretary," Noah said to his father.

"Noah, Look, I have already hired your girlfriend as your secretary, so I am sorry. Work with her for 2 or 3 months if you were not comfortable or satisfied with her, then you can hire anyone you want," His father Ryan, said looking up from his file.

"Anyone?" Noah asks him.

"Yes, Noah, anyone you want, I promise," his father said, smiling at him.

"Keep it in your mind that you promised me. You can't take your words back then, oh and Eric is with his girlfriend, so I doubt he will be there with us for lunch," Noah said, making his father sigh.

"I am waiting for the day when he invites her for dinner at our home and introduces her to us," his father said, running his hands over his face.

"He will just give him some time, and when he thinks he was ready to do that, he will invite her here," Noah said, defending his big brother.

"It's been two years since he was dating this girl. How long do you think he needs to invite her," his father complains to him.

"Just a little bit longer, oh is that okay if I go to the club with my friend to celebrate with them?" Noah asked his father, and he nodded his head as a yes. After that, they both walk downstairs to have lunch.

After lunch, Noah went to his room and called his friend Aaron, and he picks his call after the third ring.

"Hey, what're ups, Noah? have you take permission for the party?" Andy asks him.

"Yes, so what's the plan?" Noah asks him.

"How about we first go to the theater to watch movies, then we will go to the club for the celebration?" Andy asks him.

"Fine by me," Noah said on the phone.

"Cool, I will call others and inform them about our plans, so meet you at the high club," Andy said to him.

"Yeah, see you there, bye," Noah said and hung up on him, then got inside the cover to take a short nap.
