Chapter 29: Not a chapter update
Mini theater.
Art comes to meet the author with a sullen expression. Actually, rather than politely enter her room to meet her, he actually crashed into the author's bedroom and made a huge hole in the wall.
Author: ...(Looked at her damaged wall and then toward the angry-looking man, Art.) Can you enter my room, perhaps through the door like any ordinary person? Is it that hard to knock on the door first before you enter?
Art: (Ignored her words) It's been a while since you released an update. Care to tell me why?
Author: I'm not well enough to write. (Deliberately letting out a cough or two to show him her sickly condition). Moreover, I had a splitting headache, and my hand trembled nonstop every time I tried to type something. Because of this, I was unable to write anything, nor did I able to publish a new chapter. My mind is blank. As blank as a paper. So, I decided to be on a hiatus.
Art: (Stared at the author, dead in the eyes) Really?
Author: Of course. What makes you think I'm lying? I needed inspiration and some encouragement. But since both were missing, I told myself to rest. After all, you cannot squeeze a chapter out of anywhere. (Spoke in a righteous tone)
Art: (Suddenly came closer to the author and snatched her hidden laptop from inside a drawer) Then, what is this?
The laptop's screen showcased the latest anime episode. It clearly indicates that before Art barged into her room, she was still engrossed in watching anime.
Author: That...I've been waiting for a week to watch the latest episode for that particular anime. So, I cannot control the impulse and watch it first before anything else. I promise. After this one episode, I will be back to my writing.
Art: (Mercilessly clicked the 'X' button and ruthlessly deleted the episode, disregarding the author's pleading expression) Liar. (Scrolled through the author's Download folder and the sight that greeted him next made his temples twitch in anger) Oh, wow. Look at this. You have a vast collection of movies to watch. You must be very busy, huh?
Author: (Flustered) I spent a long time searching for those movies and downloaded them to my laptop. Of course, I need to watch these to commemorate my effort.
Art: (Gave her a chilling smile) I see. So, because you binged watching these movies, you forget to update?
Author: Of course not! I'm busy working. And, late at night, when I tried to update, I had fallen asleep without I realized. This happened a few times already, and...

Art: ....(Grinning) -Crack!- Crack!!- Crack!!!-
The poor, innocent laptop died a miserable death in the hand of Art.
Author: ...!(Eyes bulged out) What are you doing?! Stop! That's my precious laptop!!!
Art: ...Oops?(Innocently blinking his eyes while keeping the malicious smile on his face) Sorry?
Author's miserable wailings resounded for three days and three nights, mourning for the loss of her treasure.
RIP, my precious laptop.
