Chapter 25: Chapter 24: Ashendar
The Ashendar kingdom, one of the most prominent kingdoms of planet Terra.
Inside the castle of Ashendar, at the office of the current adviser of the king, Heilmer Aldenbraun.
He brushed his blonde hair using his hand as he gaze at the window of his office. His anxious almond brown eyes reflected at the glass window while looking in the direction where his current problem was located.
"I received a report yesterday about the incidents that currently happening near the vicinity of Fairy dungeon."
The one he was talking to was sitting on the wooden chair in front of his table.
Unlike Heilmer who was wearing a brown suit, the other was clad with full-body armor while holding his helmet in his right arm revealing his jet black hair and pitch-black sharp gazing eyes.
One of the knight's captains. Flint Freacher.
Heilmer walked towards his chair and sat.
"Base on the report, the iron gate of the Fairy dungeon was destroyed. There were multiple incidents of towns getting attacked by class A monsters like Great wolves, Black boas, and Gaia centipedes. We need to do something before the situation turned into something we couldn't handle."
Flint cleared his throat. "Did the kingdom's guild know about this?"
"I have already informed them, I only allowed the guild to exterminate the monsters that already out of the cave. We need to identify the reason for the incident before letting the adventurers go inside the Fairy dungeon."
"That's why you called out for me? You want me to investigate the Fairy dungeon."
"Yes, assemble your team, there is something inside the cave system that made the monsters fled outside. No matter what it is, we need to find out."
Flint put his elbow over his lap and leaned his head on his hand. "What if the incident was caused by one of the 4 Mythical class monsters inside?"
Heilmer put his hand on his chin. "That may also be the reason why, but both the Gaia centipede queen and Catastrophe boa were not showing any signs of activity for almost 3 years now."
Flint shrugged. "And we only left with the two Fenrirs, we can speculate that this phenomenon was happening because the two Fenrirs are currently on a clash with each other. And the battle between the two mythical class monsters disrupts the entire cave system."
Heilmer nodded in agreement. "Then I want you to prove it, the result of your investigation will determine how severe the situation is, if it's true that the incident has something to do with the 2 Mythical class monsters, we have no choice but to dispatch the Class S adventurers of this kingdom to take care of the problem. But, if everything turned into a worst-case scenario... "
Flint nodded.
Heilmer stood up and gazed at the window. "We can't afford to have this kind of problem, especially now that our kingdom is currently in the middle of the war against the Demon Race. We need to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If we can't force the thing that causing this disaster to stop whatever it is doing inside the cave, we're gonna need to eliminate it, even if its means dispatching the hero to do so."

His 4 centimeters body slowly lit up and emerged from the dark small hole he was in, a blast of wind current instantly destroyed the cocoon that covering him.
His body shook as he moved. "Where's my breakfast on bed?"
He traveled for a few distances. "Gailee, how long did I sleep?"

While floating his body touched the roofing of the hole. "Hmmm."
"Did I get fat?"

He rotated his body a few times to check it.
He sounded a sigh of relief. "I'm glad that's not the case, I don't want to fly around while there's a cute pair of wings dangling on my back. I'm still a floating ball of light!"
He turned his attention to his status bar. "All my skills only raised by 2 levels this time, I think that's the maximum that I could get, I can say the same to the skill points, it already maxed out by 3 skill points by level."
He floated towards the exit of the hole.

He peeked his body outside the hole and found nothing in the passage.
"Isn't a little bit quiet here?"
He wandered around the area and found only a few of the monsters.
On his way, he saw a pack of Great black wolves consists of 5 members.
"Oy!"
But before he could even approach them, the pack of once-proud wolves ran away without looking back.
"What happened here? Is there a mass evacuation that happened while I'm asleep?"
He used his wind magic and rushed towards the running pack of Great black wolves.
He got caught up on them while the Great black wolves were about to enter the passage that would lead to the higher part of the cave system.
A blast of flamethrower easily eliminated the 5 Great white wolves, they got exterminated like nothing.
"I see, so all of you went through here. Let's go on the higher floor then."
He flew towards the passage.
