Chapter 11: What good are dreams, if all you do is work?
"Banana."
"Are you sure?" Geto stared at Noah and asked as they slowly made their way to the place of the Star Plasma Vessel.
"Of course. Can you imagine when during a life and death situation, you shout "BANANA!", that would be hilarious!" Noah laughed, imagining Geto shouting banana loudly.
"... Is there even a need for a code name to begin with? I'm sure everyone knows about us, well, not adding you I guess."
"That's the point! I'm like the hidden boss of Jujutsu society. No one in this world knows about me. If I keep hiding my identity, the enemies of the Jujutsu world will remain vigilant thinking that there is a final boss hidden somewhere in the world."
"The thought of people calling my name with reverence and vigilance sends shivers down my spine! Indeed, I'm the strongest one."
"Just because you defeated me with a fluke doesn't make you stronger. At best, you can sit on the same level as us." With his usual grin, Gojo said. "Though, if we fight again, I'll beat your ass."
"Maybe if you learn to maintain Infinity for infinity." Noah didn't deny, since he himself knew, once Gojo learned the Reversed Cursed Technique, it would be impossible for him to defeat him as he was right now.
Using Infinity required complex equations, but with the use of Six Eyes, Gojo was able to pass this complexity easily.
But it cost him a huge amount of mental energy.
If he keeps on using Infinity regularly, he will end up frying his brain.
That's why, during normal times, Gojo would not use Infinity.
Reversed Cursed Technique on the other hand removed this restriction of not being able to use Infinity all the time by healing the mental damage that he received during its usage.
In short, Reversed Cursed Technique created an infinite loop of consumption and healing which made it possible for Infinity to exist for infinity.
This is what made Gojo almost impossible to be assassinated with normal means—though, of course, that was the Gojo of the future.
The current Gojo didn't have excess to Reversed Cursed Technique, so he cannot maintain Infinity for all the time.
With Noah's magic, he can defeat Gojo as many times as he requires—with the condition that Infinity is not activated all the time.
"Infinity for infinity…" Gojo rubbed his chin in contemplation. Of course, he was aware of his weakness, but even then, he doubted anyone would be able to catch him off-guard.
"My eyes allow me to catch every second in a minute, I highly doubt someone can assassinate me."
"Are you sure?" Noah smiled, staring at Gojo before he added. "I'm not the only person in the world with no cursed energy after all."
Gojo and Geto's footsteps halted for a second before resuming.
Both of them understood what Noah was pointing at.
If someone like him existed, he could easily catch the current Gojo in a surprise attack.
Because…
"Having no cursed energy makes you invisible to cursed techniques huh…" Gojo said with an interesting tone. "But I'm really curious about the technique that you used on me. Is that a different power system than curse techniques?"
'Sharp.'
Noah internally thought.
In fact, he never doubted that Gojo would come up with such a hypothesis since it filled the gap of the unknown very well.
Seeing Noah not answering made both Geto and Gojo stare at Noah with unhidden astonishment.
"Amazing… You created a completely different power system than curse techniques because you couldn't use it?" Geto was having a hard time believing it.
Curse Techniques were the basis of becoming a Sorcerer.
It was what built the current Jujutsu Society.
Noah was able to create a completely new power system, something that completely deviated from the norm they called curse techniques, what did that entail?
It meant that there was a possibility to start a completely new era, an era where cursed techniques were not the only power available to humanity.
It made both Geto and Gojo realize one thing—Noah was a dangerous individual.
For someone who created his own power system that acted almost the same as curse technique, adding the fact that he was only 17, one could differ the level of danger he had to the world.
What if he deserted?
What if his power were to be known to the world?
If it really is a different power system, doesn't that mean anyone can use it? Seeing as Noah himself didn't possess curse energy?
'No… Wait… If he doesn't possess curse energy, then how does he drive his abilities?' Gojo internally thought. 'A curse technique needs curse energy to work, a car needs gas to work, then what does his abilities need to work?'
Both Geto and Gojo looked at each other at the same time, coming to the same conclusion—a new form of energy!
Something completely different from curse energy.
'They are smart man…' While Gojo and Geto were lost in their thoughts, Noah quietly followed after them. 'It must be good to be smart…'
With Gojo's Six Eyes, he should have caught the use of Mana.
But Noah knew this, so he purposely used magic when he was behind Gojo. Not that he cared if Gojo knew it or not, but he just liked hiding stuff.
It made him look extra mysterious. This way, people will feel cautious when approaching him.
In simplest terms, Noah had created this illusion around him that made people think that he was strong when in reality he wasn't—the same when he was talking with Tengen.
With his current power, he was nowhere close to being called strongest.
With his weird magic, he sure can catch people off guard and play pretend to be the strongest, but it was an act in the end.
"By the way, can you brief me with the mission a little?" Noah inquired. His memories about this world were quite fuzzy but the main plot, no one can expect him to remember everything.
"Two groups are targeting Star Plasma Vessel—the cursed user group Q and the Star Religious Group, the Time Vessel Association. Our job is simple, which is to escort the Star Plasma Vessel back to the Tomb of Tengen safely."
As Geto finished explaining, an explosion occurred in the building where they were to meet with the vessel, prompting Gojo to stare at the building and say.
"They sure act fast."
"Let's go." Geto jumped before a curse with wings appeared beneath him. With a flap, he vanished and appeared below the falling girl and caught her.
Seeing this, Gojo turned to look at Noah before saying.
"I'll go and deal with the person who has been hiding just right there."
"... What should I do then?" Noah wondered while staring at the place where Gojo ran too.
The mission should have been done even without his interference, the fact that the World still let him join meant that something was fishy.
'It might not be the same world as I remember it to be… Just like DxD.'
"W-what is going on?! An explosion!?"
Turning around, he saw a young girl on the ground staring at the exploded building with shock evident in her eyes.
A little down, he could see that she had twisted her ankle, making it hard for her to move.
Noah stared at her for a second before he smiled.
"Are you alright, miss? You should leave this place as fast as possible. It is dangerous here."
He said, slowly approaching her with a cordial smile.
But just as he reached down to her, the girl's eyes shone with coldness, her hand blurring and moving towards Noah's head.
There was no wasted moment, it was swift and precise.
If it was a normal person, the needle in the girl's hand would have definitely punctured Noah's skull.
But…
"Oh my, how unlady like." He said with a smirk before grasping the hand of the girl, the needle only inches away from his skull.
A slightly smug smile formed on his face, his dark eyes staring right into the girl's eyes, as he said.
"Kids shouldn't play with weapons. You might end up hurting yourself."
The girl stared at Noah's face, seeing her attack failing, she didn't show any surprise expression.
Her hand started to deform, making Noah's eyes widen.
Since he had gripped her hand, he could feel it…
'She dislocated her bones? What is this Zoldyck level of BS!'
With her bones dislocated, she pulled her hand back before jumping away from Noah, staring at him.
"No cursed energy…" The girl's eyes narrowed. "Are you the same as that old man? Tsk."
She clicked her tongue before jumping on a tree and started running.
"Oh. Not so fast." Noah smiled and raised his hand.

This might end up becoming his favorite spell.
"Ugk!" The girl groaned, feeling her body refusing to move as she fell down on the ground, hitting her head in the process.
The fall should have been enough for a person to lose their consciousness, but the girl seemed quite tough seeing she was still awake.
Cursed energy started to leak from her body, soon covering her, her physical strength increasing with each second.
'How troublesome…'
In fact, he could go and kill that girl right now, but his body keeps on screaming danger to him, which prompted him to maintain a certain distance between himself and the girl.
Knowing the fuckery called cursed technique that ranged from normal to extremely complex rituals, Noah made sure to maintain the distance between him and the girl.
"Say, why don't give up? I don't want to kill a little girl." He lightly said, making the girl look towards him. She smirked.
Noah frowned seeing her smirking face. Mana swirled within his body as he softly muttered.

The world turned into black and white the moment words left his mouth, a gradient appearing over the surface before, with Noah as the center, waves started to appear over it.
'One, two, three, four? Two of them are fighting with Gojo and Geto, one in front of me. Then!'
His eyes widened as he took one big step backward, small confetti starting to fall from the air.
He didn't make a move, silently watching as the confetti kept on falling, but he did make sure to avoid them.
He didn't know what would happen if confetti were to touch his body. It was better to be cautious.
Seconds passed, but nothing happened, making his frown deepen.
'Hmmm… Where have I seen this ability before…' His eyes narrowed, staring at the still falling confetti. 'In the first place, where is this confetti coming from?'
Of course, he knew that there was a person who was throwing them, he could sense him with the spell <<Sense Enemy>>.
"I can't move. Take me, we are retreating."
Hearing the voice of the girl, he turned to look towards her and found another person beside her.
This time, it was Noah's turn to become wide eyes.
"Kalluto Zoldyck?!" He unconsciously blurted out, startling the duo in the forest.
"Identity has been exposed… What a blunder. If Father found out, he would be mad." The small girl said with slight worry, before looking towards the other "girl". "Hurry."
The other girl, who looked no more than 3 years old, nodded her head before literally picking up the paralyzed girl.
"Oh, not so fast." Noah muttered while raising his hand, but before he could activate his magic, the small girl wearing a Japanese yukata waved her fan and the confetti in the air suddenly stagnated before rushing towards Noah, making him stop midway and jumped away from the coming confetti.
'I knew this world was fucked up too! And this ability, does Nen exist in this world?' While he thought as such, his moment didn't slow down as he dodged all the thrown confetti coming in his way. 'No wonder this ability looked familiar.'
The moment confetti stopped following him, Noah looked up and sighed.
"They ran away…" He said, staring at the now empty forest before rubbing his forehead. "Their appearance caught me off guard but why is there a Zoldyck Family in this world?"
'I knew that this world might have changed, same as DxD, but why Hunter x Hunter out of all possible worlds out there? Cursed Techniques were OP anyway, now there is Nen in addition to it!'
"Gojo is definitely going to laugh at me…"
