Chapter 51: Interrupted By Upcoming Crisis Chapter Text
3 Days later
Team Flash was sitting in Naruto's home across from Nora, and Naruto, "So you're not stuck here." Iris said
"No, I'm not." Nora confessed
"So the reverse tachyons in your system? " Caitlin asked
"Were put there because of me." Nora said
"Are you kidding?" Cisco asked causing everyone to look at him, "You know how many credit card points I just blew trying to get rid of your negative tachyons? I just bought a brand new spectral tachyeometer when I could have my Fiji getaway. Not that I have anyone to go with, anymore."
"Why didn't you guys tell us about this before?" Linda asked causing Nora to look to Naruto who nodded before she showed them the newspaper
"Oh, my God!" Caitlin gasped
"Nate never returns?" Cecile asked as Caitlin, Felicity, and Linda frowned at him worriedly while Iris stared at the paper
"That's why you came here." Helen said looking to Nora, "To see your father, because you were raised without him."
Nora cut the hologram as everyone remained silent while Naruto saw them looking at him worriedly, "Guys, I'm fine. That paper will never come to be because I'm not going anywhere."
"Yea, so what that article says that you never come back. So what if the other one says that you vanished. I mean, it's said other things before, right? We made it say other things before. So whatever the future brings we are gonna deal with it when it gets here. And change it if we need to." Iris nodded
"She has a point. If there's anything Team Flash is good at, it's handing the future its own ass and then some." Felicity smiled
"What she said." Caitlin smiled
"Well, looks like Nora's gonna need more training after all." Linda said before the baby began to cry
"Oh, okay. She's hungry." Cecile said getting up,
"I'll help." Iris said following before everyone stood and left
"Wow, first you meet your adult daughter from the future and now this. I mean, it's a lot." Cecile said as she began to feed the baby
"Yeah. Well, I guess now I know why she never wants to leave her dad's side and why she never wants to be by mine." Iris frowned leaning against the wall
"Nora will reach out at some point. The trick is you gotta keep yourself busy." Cecile said getting a nod from Iris
"Yeah. Thanks, Cecile."
Uzumaki Labs
Naruto was with Caitlin, "How are you doing with everything?" He asked
"I'm fine."
"Want to try that again." Naruto said causing Caitlin to sigh before he cupped her cheek, "You know that I'm here for you, with whatever you need."
"Thank you." Caitlin smiled, placing her hands on Naruto's leg as she leaned into him and the two kissed, "I just need a distraction."
"Cisco can use a hand. I saw him with that cube Gypsy sent him."
"He needs a friend." Caitlin said getting up and smiling back at Naruto when he slapped her ass before she began to walk away and he walked down to the Speed Lab and but got a text from Singh about a crime scene where he was needed so he sped off
Workshop
Cisco was watching his cube as a hologram of Gypsy played, "Hey babe, uh, it's me, just checking in, for our da-"
"Hello there." Caitlin said from the doorway causing Cisco to jump and quickly hide the cube before making to look busy as Caitlin with a smile walked in,
"Hey." He greeted
"What are you doing?"
"I was just checking on the rocket we sent that Doomsday guy away on." Cisco lied checking his tablet
"Yeah, you weren't watching old holograms of Gipsy." Caitlin asked
"Why would I be doing that?" Cisco asked
"Because you miss her." Caitlin answered
"We just had something so special. Shouldn't it have work? Of course, now it's not so special anymore now she's just rattlin' around inside my head." Cisco droned
"I'm sorry this is so hard for you. But it's okay that you are still thinking about her." Caitlin said
"I don't think you understand, Caitlin." Cisco said putting the tablet down and turning to face Caitlin, "I mean, she's literally inside my head. I can't vibe. Everything I vibe connects to her. I put some music on, I hear her voice singing along. I'm painting my figurines, I see her face on Captains Kirk's body. Shh, Do you smell that?" Cisco asked as Caitlin looked around confused, "Of course you don't. 'Cause that's her perfume and I'm only one smelling it."
"Of course. Your powers linked you guys over pan-dimensional spacetime, so it makes complete sense that your vibes echoes would still be-"
"Connecting us to each other. Yes, I know. Thank you for the diagnosis." Cisco said annoyed
"I'm sorry. You don't need a doctor. You need a friend." Caitlin calmed down
"I'm sorry. I'm just I'm a mess." Cisco said as Caitlin placed a hand on his shoulder before she looked worried as his nose began bleeding
"Cisco?" Caitlin asked before Cisco began to seize suddenly, as he had a huge vibe, "Oh my god."
With Naruto
CCPD was on the scene of a murder, as Naruto worked before Linda, and Singh walked over, "So this is where the Moretti brothers have been running guns." Linda said
"Yeah." Singh nodded "Stealing from these guys takes some cojones."
"Any idea who our bold thieves might be?" Linda asked
"Not yet. Made my rounds too. So far the only prints belong to Bobby and Bruno Moretti."
"Well, whoever did this, they're running fast and loose. If we don't stop this, a lot of high powered weapons are gonna flood the streets. Central City is gonna be a war zone." Singh said getting a nod from Naruto and Linda
"Don't worry about the city, friend. CCPD's finest are on the case." Nora said walking up
"And you are?" Singh asked
"Nora, I'm a intern. Who are you?" Nora asked
"The captain of CCPD." Naruto said amused
"Captain David Singh. Oh, I've read so much about you. It's really nice to meet you." Nora smiled shaking Singh's hand
"You hired an intern, Nate?" Singh asked
"Yea, she's new." Naruto said as Singh nodded looking between the two and noting how the structure of their faces were the same before he walked off
"I know you're surprised to see me but I found this badge and this jacked and thought, "I'm a CSI too" so I should help my dad." Nora said
"Right, okay. You said you were still a rookie, right?" Linda asked
"Well, yeah, but forensic sciences in the future is like way advance, so I can totally handle a robbery scene. Like, not a prob." Nora explained as Linda and Naruto nodded before Nora noted something
"Ah, got you. That's great." Linda said looking to a smiling Naruto
"What is that?" Nora asked causing the two to look over at the small block of flesh,
"That I haven't gotten to yet. But it looks like somebody wanted their pound of flesh." Naruto said before his eyes widened when he saw Nora reaching forward and quickly he grabbed her wrist, "You can't touch that. You'll contaminate the evidence."
"Sorry, you mean you don't have a scene-wide modified bosonic frequency field to avoid cross-contamination?" Nora asked
"A what?" Naruto asked
"Oops." Nora said as Naruto shook his head, "Well ugh. It's just this seems way denser than human tissue."
Naruto looked at the cube and narrowed his eyes, "Yeah, you're right, actually." He said reaching forward and grunting in surprise when he lifted it, "This isn't a pound of flesh. This is a whole human body."
"That is so schway." Nora said
Meanwhile
Singh looked to one of the officers, "Let's hold off on telling the Mayor about this until we have some more info. She's still upset about the Lang homicide." He said before Iris popped up
"Hey, Captain, did you mean Gridlock? I thought he was locked up in Iron Heights." Iris said
"Iris, it's a pleasure to see you. Can we secure the crime scene, please?" Singh yelled before he looked to Iris, 'You know I can't make a comment on the record."
"Okay, well, how about off the record?" Iris asked closing her notepad
"Just once and that's it, and only because it's you. Okay. While in transport to Iron Heights the convoy was attacked. Lang was killed by something strong. We think maybe a meta."
"Were there any survivors?" Iris asked
"Four guards, they are still in the hospital. So if you hear anything -"
"Yeah, I got you." Iris nodded as Singh walked off before she turned and saw Naruto with Nora handing her some gloves, frowning as the two smiles, and laughed together she left
Central City Hospital
Iris walked a room where a man in a wheelchair was looking out at the sky, "Um, Officer Matthews?" She asked
"Yes." The man said without turning toward her
"Hi, I'm Iris West-Allen. I'm a reporter, and I'm doing a story about William Lang." Iris said walking forward
"Gridlock." Matthews said
"Pardon?" Iris asked
"You call him Gridlock. In your blog, I've read it. It's good." Matthews said
"Thanks. Um, I understand that you were part of the convoy that was escorting him to Iron Heights when you were attacked." Iris replied
"Something like that." Matthews retorted
"What do you mean?" Iris asked happened
"I mean I really don't remember what happened." Matthews said fo ally turning to face Iris, "One minute I was in my vehicle there was a pile-up, I got out to see what's going on. Everything went black. Finally came to and Lang's laying there on the ground, beaten to a pulp."
"He was beaten to death?" Iris asked shocked
"Beaten, then stabbed." Matthews said
"Was anyone else hurt?" Iris asked concerned
"No. Everyone else on SWAT was concussed like me."
"So, Lang was the only target?" Iris realized
"Looks like it." Matthews said
"Thanks for your time." Iris said before she left and called Linda
Later
Naruto and Nora were in his office, waiting for the DNA analysis on the body they discovered, "Ugh, these old-timey computers are even slower than the ones in storage at the Flash Museum." Nora groaned as Naruto smiled
"DNA analysis used to take a lot longer even just ten years ago." Naruto said causing Nora to sigh before she frowned and walked over to Naruto
"So, Mom took the news about you being gone better than I thought she would." Nora said causing Naruto to look up at her
"Iris is as tough as they come." Naruto said turning to face her, "I know you both don't have a good relationship in the future, your attitude towards her shows me that, but think of it like this. The Iris you know doesn't exist yet, and never will. So use this time to get to know her-"
An explosion and an earthquake stopped Naruto before he and Nora looked out the window and saw a wave of red energy blanketing the world,
Sensing a presence behind him, Naruto turned to see a man dressed weirdly standing there, "Naruto Uzumaki. Time draws near."
"Who the hell are you?" Naruto asked before he looked out the window, "Nora go and get the people to safety."
"Dad-"
"Go!" Naruto said sternly before Nora sped off
"A crisis draws near, and you can't be on the sidelines."
"Look whoever you are, I have more important things to do then talk-"
Naruto heard a yell and turned to see the wave hit Nora who collapsed into dust, horrified Naruto began to speed forward but a blue portal opened before him
Earth 1, Central City, S.T.A.R. Labs
Barry and Iris were talking about Barry's plan to go to the future the day after he's supposed to disappear when they jumped as a white flash appeared and Naruto grunted as he tumbled out of the portal in the pipeline, "Nate?" Barry asked surprised
Regaining his footing Naruto glared murderously at the Monitor, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He yelled enraged
"I saved you. Your Earth is gone, but should you prevail in the crisis, it shall be returned back to when you left it. Like it never happened."
"BASTARD!" Naruto shot forward and the Monitor smirked as he tried to disappear but Naruto was quicker and grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the wall,
Eyes red with slits going down the middle, "You killed my family!" Naruto yelled arm cocked back as he was about to smash the Monitor's face in, but he was tossed back by an explosion of gravity
Flipping Naruto landed on the ground, "I'm giving you the chance to save them. Fail and they will be dead. Permanently." The Monitor said before he vanished
Naruto yelled and raced forward into the speed force as Iris and Barry watched him be spat out with glowing cuts along his legs and arms as he writhed in pain on the ground before he pushed himself up and ran in again
Naruto was littered with cuts as he was ejected from the speed force again, "Nate!" Barry yelled zipping over when he saw Naruto about to make another run for it, "You have to stop."
"No!" Naruto yelled as he tried to stand on his own but was unable to, "I have to get back to them, Barry. My kids, my family. Nora."
Naruto went unconscious so Barry and Iris quickly took him to the medbay, and checked him over, "His wound is still not healing."
"My readings indicate he was exposed to an extra-universal material that destroys positive matter on contact, a substance known as antimatter." B-Gideon (Barry's Gideon) announced
"Antimatter? That's new." Iris said
"There's a wall of this stuff clogging up the Speed Force." Naruto said waking up as he began to sit up despite Barry and Itis trying to lay him back down, "I'll be fine."
Naruto tapped his necklace, "Gideon, how do I get past the barrier?"
"Not without additional assistance. Fortunately, there is an expert in the field, Dr. Jay Garrick, formerly known as the Flash of Earth-3." N-Gideon (Naruto's Gideon) said
"What happened?" Barry asked
"One minute I'm telling my daughter from the future to try and accept my Iris, then this wave of energy appears abruptly, a long with whoever that guy is."
"He's the Monitor, he's a cosmic entity of some kind that's been going on about some crisis. He says I'm supposed to die."
"What?" Naruto asked getting a shrug from Barry, "That wave of energy it caused Nora to evaporate into dust soon as it touched her. What crisis has he been going on about?"
"No idea. I was going to go see it for myself then you appeared." Barry said causing Naruto to frown
"We have to go see Jay then." Naruto replied
"Are you sure, you'll be okay?" Barry asked
"Paper cuts see nothing compared to having a hole in your chest." Naruto said standing up before his suit appeared on his body, "Let's go."
Earth 3
Naruto's cuts began to steam and close with static sealing the skin together, "Good to see you again, Barry, Nate right?"
"Yeah, I've met another version of you, so it's cool, I guess." Naruto said
"I've met him to, cool guy. And you guys were right. You were hit with a dose of pure antimatter. Lucky you have speed healing, or those scratches could've wiped you out of existence."
"So is there a way that I can time travel past the barrier?" Barry asked
"You want to tell me why the hell you want to time travel, to begin with?"
"I need to see for myself if The Monitor was telling the truth about what happened to me, and I know what you're gonna say about time traveling."
"And my way home is clogged with this stuff I if you know of a way to undo it all, that'll be great." Naruto said watching as Jay walked to a table and he and Barry followed
"For the past year, I've been detecting antimatter signatures across the Multiverse. Now, we don't know their origin, but if my algorithm is correct, all Earths could be in danger."
"Then we have to find a way to break through that wall." Naruto said
"Ah, your body never could. But maybe your mind can." Jay said getting raised eyebrows, "I built this thing years ago, the neural hyper-collider. It harnesses neural electricity and transfers it across superluminal particles."
"Therefore projecting human consciousness across space-time." Naruto said
"You could send someone's mind past the antimatter wall." Barry added
"Not just anyone. It's gotta be a speedster in his prime. The strain alone could kill someone who wasn't." Naruto said
"You in?" Jay asked
"Yeah." Naruto and Barry said at the same time
"Sorry, guys only one of you can go." Jay said causing the two to look at each other
"I'm the oldest." Naruto said
"I'm the fastest." Barry shot back causing Naruto to scoff
"In your dreams." Naruto said before the two began to argue trying to overtalk the other before Jay calmed them down,
"Okay, Okay, how about rock paper scissors." Jay said getting nods from the two
At super speed, the brothers played it 3 times with Barry coming out with the win, "Okay, Barry you won, so let's hustle. I've already had to postpone my dinner plans." Jay said
"Not any further, I hope."
Naruto and Barry looked to the door and their eyes widened when they saw the doppelganger of their mother,
"Barry, Nathan I'd like you to meet my wife, Dr. Joan Williams."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Barry Allen. I've heard quite a bit about you." Joan said shaking Barry's hand before she turned to Naruto with a smile
"N-nice to meet you." Naruto said taking a shaky breath, "I need some air."
Naruto sped away
Later, Jay's office
Barry was roaming around, when Naruto returned, "Hey." He said
"Hey." Naruto said walking up and tossing Barry a burger
"You okay?" Barry asked opening the burger
"No, first my world with my wife, girlfriends, and children are gone, now I'm here where my dead father and dead mother are not only living but married with different names and no children. A lot to take in at once."
Barry nodded, "So your daughter came from the future?' He asked wondering what would happen if he could have met some of his kids if he ever had them since he's supposed to die in a few months
"Yea, the waitress from your wedding. That was her." Naruto nodded
"Knew there was something familiar about her."
"Hm, she grew up without me Bare, said the last time I was seen was leaving my Earth to go with you." Naruto said causing Barry to frown
"I don't know what's going to happen, but we can make a plan once we know what we are dealing with.' Barry said before they looked up when Joan walked in
"Welcome back." Joan said causing Naruto to smile and nod, "Jay told me he's a doppelganger of your late father."
Joan looked between the two who looked at one another and nodded at her, 'Mm. Do I remind either of you of anyone from your Earths?"
"Yeah, you do." Barry nodded with a smile
"Hmm. Who is she?" Joan asked
"Someone very special." Naruto said
"Ain't she?" Jay asked walking in, "I never thought I'd settle down. But I needed a neurological specialist to help with my depleting speed, and something just felt right between us."
Joan and Jay hugged and kissed as Naruto and Barry looked away with smiles, "You ready?" Jay asked
"Yeah. All right." Barry said finishing his food before the four walked to the device where Barry was strapped in and handed Jay's old helmet,
"Jay's helmet will help channel the tachyons into your frontal cortex and ignite your synaptic pathways." Joan explained as Barry put it on
"I won't lie to you, kid. Beaming your mind past an antimatter wall is risky." Jay said
"I know. But right now, it's a matter of life and death. Let's do it." Barry said lying back as Joan strapped his arms down while Naruto hooked the helmet to the computer
"All right." Jay said before he powered on the machine and Barry began to struggle as his eyes shot from side to side, as he thrashed
"His biometrics are crashing." Joan said
"I'm also picking up temporal energy readings." Naruto frowned
"His mind has broken past the barrier." Jay said frowning as well
"It's not just a new timeline he's found.
It's billions of them. And his mind is experiencing them all." Naruto frowned
Barry saw a vision of Central City being wiped out with all his friends going including Iris, before a vision of him in the Speed Force running with Naruto running after him
Naruto about to catch Barry missed when Barry disintegrated and rolled to a stop before yelling into the void
Real World
Joan seeing it getting too dangerous said, "You have to get him out of there."
Immediately Naruto turned off the machine as Jay, and Joan rushed over to Barry who was unconscious
Later
"Oh, why should the spirit of mortal be proud? Like a fast-flittering meteor, a fast-flying cloud a flash of the lightning a break of the wave he passes from life to his rest in the grave." Joan read as Barry returned to consciousness
"Barry. You're with us." Joan smiled as Barry looked at her, "William Knox. I've discovered that poetry can stimulate collapsed neural pathways."
"Lady Gaga usually works for me." Barry said as Naruto and Jay walked in, before Barry tried to get up but grunted in pain as lightning flashed across his eyes, "What's wrong with me?"
"The device overloaded your neural synapses, creating a near shutdown." Naruto said
"What you're experiencing now is called neural entropy." Joan added
"It feels like my nerves are on fire." Barry hissed
"They are. Because you're a speedster, your synapses fire ten times the normal rate, so you're feeling ten times the amount of pain a non-speedster would. You'll feel better in a day or two."
"What'd you see in there, kid?" Jay asked once Joan got Barry to lie still
"I saw Billions of possible futures. Billions of deaths. All their pain, their suffering. And then they were gone. I felt all of it. Now I know The Monitor was right. I have to die." Barry said as Naruto frowned
"I need to go home." Barry said
"Barry, Barry, you can't be moving." Joan said stopping Barry
"Please, I have to see Iris." Barry replied causing Naruto to nod
Later, Earth 1 S.T.A.R. Labs
Ralph Dibney was grimacing in pain as his face was burnt, 'Ow, ow, ow. It's not getting any less ow." He told Cisco who shrugged
"I don't understand. I thought Allegra controlled radio waves."
"She controls Electromagnetic waves, and every form they come in." Naruto said in the doorway causing everyone to turn to him
"Hey!" Cisco said happily as Naruto gave a slight smile as he walked forward and fist-bumped Cisco,
"Cait." Naruto smiled
"Frost.'
"Same person to me." Naruto shrugged hugging Frost who returned the hug
"Cecile." Naruto smiled
"Are you okay?" Cecile asked sensing Naruto's emotions
"No, but I'll figure something out. Need to borrow Iris, then I'll be right back to help you catch Allegra."
"Wait you know her on your Earth?'
" Used to ride with Joe to see her on Juvie." Naruto said before he placed a hand on Iris' shoulder and sped away and returned to hear
"So put some aloe on it." Frost said causing Naruto to smile
"Okay. Can I just talk to Caitlin for a minute, please?" Ralph asked
"No. I've got things to do." Frost said walking off taking Naruto by the hand and leading him away
"What are we gonna do about this?" Ralph asked pointing to his face, "And who is that guy?"
"Barry's older brother from another Earth.' Cisco said walking off
With Naruto
Naruto smiled watching as Frost vented, apparently, this Frost was now in control of Caitlin so she can experience life, "So you want to express yourself?"
"Hm, I'd ask the others but you are the only one that understands that I am still Caitlin."
"I had a split personality once. It was full of my negative emotions. Felt that I was neglecting that part of myself and I couldn't become home unless I understood that all emotions, good and bad make you whole. To accept them is liberating in a way." Naruto smiled as Frost nodded
Naruto picked up a paper and at super speed, he drew Caitlin, one half was Frost and the other was normal Caitlin, "You are half of Caitlin, just as she is half of you. Same body, same mind."
Frost took the paper and looked it over, "Teach me how to draw." She said causing Naruto to nod with a smile
Later
Naruto walked into Barry's loft, "Yo, you good?" He asked walking over to the couch as Barry sat up with a grimace
"No." Barry said honestly, "This was a bad idea, I didn't see anything but death, no one as the cause just antimatter wiping out everyone."
"Someone has to be controlling the Antimatter, for all we know it could be the Monitor that's behind this crisis." Naruto said getting a nod from Barry, "You said he tested you, Kara, and Ollie?"
"Yea gave this book to some doctor and made me the Green Arrow and Oliver the Flash."
"So maybe this is all some test, we pass and he returns everything back to normal."
"If he doesn't?" Barry asked
"Can't think like that Barry." Naruto said shaking his head, "You are the leader of Team Flash, it's your job as a leader to guide your team and get them through whatever comes their way."
Barry looked down before there was a knock at the door, "It's open."
Joe walked in, and Naruto smiled which Joe returned, "Captain Joe West." Naruto said walking over as Joe laughed before the to hugged
"Great to see you Nate, how long you here for?" Joe asked
"Damn, trying to get rid of me already?" Naruto asked causing Barry to chuckle
"No, just before you go, you have to meet the baby." Joe said
"I'll be here for a while." Naruto said patting Joe on the back as Joe looked to Barry,
"Hey. Iris wasn't answering her phone. Is she here?" Joe asked
"No, no, she's at work. She's working." Barry said
"What are you doing home? You okay?" Joe asked
"I got hurt running a Speed Force experiment, but I'll be fine. If you needed help with something from Iris, maybe Nate and I could help you out." Barry said
"It's this case." Joe said handing Naruto the folder as he walked around and say in front of Barry and handed him some of the papers,
"Allegra Garcia. Cecile has some very strong feelings about it."
"How did you get hurt, Barr?" Joe asked causing Barry and Naruto to look at one another before Naruto nodded
"Something's coming, Joe. I have to make a sacrifice. But at the same time, I can't help but feeling like it means I'm giving up." Barry said exhausted
"Giving up?" Joe asked
"Yeah." Barry nodded
"When I was a beat cop, you know, I walked the same patrol every day. One morning, I'm responding to a noise complaint. Out of nowhere, pop. Bullet flies by my head. I got pinned down. I called for backup, but everything was telling me that's it. The next morning, I can't even tell you how scared I was to go back out in them streets." Joe said
"But you did." Naruto said
"Yeah. 'Cause of this." Joe replied taking out his badge, "Our badges, your emblems, they're symbols of the strength that we're charged with to get back out there. And we don't make the choice to die. We would never choose to do that. But when we hear the call of duty we're willing to make that sacrifice. And that's not giving up. That's what you call resilience. And I know you both have plenty of that."
Later
Naruto and Barry were still going over the crime scene, when Barry got a call, "Hey, what's up?"
"Barry, we were talking to Cecile about her case." Iris said
"Turns out that Allegra had a cousin named Esperanza with the same powers as her. Everybody thought that Esperanza was dead." Ralph explained
"Esperanza must've killed the witness, not Allegra. Now Esperanza can't let anyone know she's alive." Naruto said, "Iris where is she?"
"CCPD, but they are in a total blackout."
"She's going after Allegra. I'm on it." Naruto said speeding away
CCPD
Cecile was leading Allegra who was still in metacuffs to the elevator when a heatwave struck the panel causing them to jump, "Esperanza. This isn't you." Allegra said looking to her cousin who jumped down the stairs
"Esperanza died 5 years ago. I'm only Ultraviolet now." Ultraviolet said before she prepared to kill her cousin when Cecile got in front of her
"No! I won't let you do this."
"Then you'll die too." Ultraviolet said before she was tapped on the shoulder and turned ready to fire a heatwave but Naruto's electrified hand grabbed her neck and electrocuted her to unconsciousness
Naruto dropped Ultraviolet, and looked to Cecile and Allegra, "You guys okay?" He asked
"Yeah, thanks...uh, what do we call you here?"
"Senkō." Naruto said as he put the metacuffs on Ultraviolet and Allegra noticed that her hands were free, as Joe walked over, "Got it from here?"
"Yeah, thanks."

The team was all in the medbay getting Barry checked out to make sure he was 100%, "We were right. Esperanza Garcia was hired to kill Salvador Traversoni. Then she offed the eyewitness. She tried to kill Allegra so nobody would know she was still alive." Ralph said
"And you skipped over the part where this Ultraviolet person might've been trained in the art of assassination by a secret organization." Naruto replied
"Yeah, that's on my to-solve list." Ralph said
"Yeah, well, it's on ours now. If there's a group out there exploiting metas, then they're gonna need our protection." Barry said about to walk off but paused and looked to the monitors, "Yo. What'd you put in these painkillers?"
"Oh, you're not hallucinating. That is art." Frost said smiling walking over to stand beside Barry, "And some people might think it's weird. But I think it is a beautiful expression of the artist's inner life. Even if it's a weird inner life."
"But you bought all this stuff? I mean, how'd you pay for it?" Barry asked
"With Caity's, I mean my credit cards. All of them." Frost said smiling at Naruto who winked
Later, Barry's House
Naruto stood on the wall, as Joan and Jay were telling them that they detected no Anti Matter on this Earth yet, "So what now?" Naruto asked
"We'll keep scanning the Multiverse for antimatter from my lab, okay? But I think, for now, we should get going." Jay said standing up
"Yes, we should." Joan nodded as Iris arrived to see the two getting ready to leave, "Ah, the intrepid reporter. I thought you had a story to put out."
"Well, I couldn't let you leave without saying good-bye. And I know it hasn't been under the best of circumstances, but I hope we will see you guys again." Iris said hugging Joan
"I hope so." Joan smiled
"Yeah." Jay said looking to Naruto and Barry who were looking at him and Joan
"Till next time, Flash. Flash." Jay said to the two causing Naruto to smile
"Yeah, see ya around old man." Naruto said handing Jay a capsule
"What's this?'
"On my Earth, we have made breakthroughs in medicine. This is something Caity and I were supposed to unveil tomorrow. It's like the fountain of youth, but you won't return to a younger form. It'll rejuvenate you in a sense." Naruto said
"Thank you." Jay smiled getting a nod from Naruto
"Next time, the three of us are together, we should race." Naruto said as Jay chuckled
"I'd like that." Barry smiled before the two looked to Joan
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Barry and Nathan Allen. You boys keep being the heroes we know you are." Joan said getting nods from the duo
"We will." Naruto and Barry said together stepping back and watching the two leap into a breech,
"Alright, calling it a night." Naruto said heading for the door
"Wait, where will you sleep?" Iris asked causing Naruto to pause and look at them
"Caitlin offered her couch. See you tomorrow." Naruto said speeding away
Naruto entered the speed force again and stopped before he came in contact with the barrier
Naruto began to peer into the barrier, where his Earth should be, and he saw a figure in the distance that he couldn't quite make out, "So your the cause of this crisis. No matter what you are, I'll be sure to kill you so I can return to my family."
"Welcome to try, it'll be more satisfying when you fail." The figure said before Naruto left the Speed Force.
