Chapter 5: Crazy Women
In the morning, William woke up.He can't contact Lara but he knows where her house is, even though he never went there.He turned on the tv to see if something big happened these days.
Surprisingly something happened 4 days ago, a big city near the coast is destroyed.Even though sea monsters are powerful, but they are from the sea in the end.Only a few superiors monsters can live without problem in the earth, but even they will have their power dropped a little.
After watching for a while and knowing that even several Players died in this accident, William know that he still weak.So he turned off the TV and stood up, he thought about having some days off since he got 2 days in a dungeon, but he must get stronger.
He wanted to go to the adventurer guild but it'll do nothing to his power.So it's beast go try if he can replace the rabbit glove some other equipment, and after that go to Lara and ask about a higher level dungeon.
When William arrived to the famous auction house of the city, he is shocked, that receptionist is stronger than him now.He entered and the receptionist smiled amiable.
"What the mister wants to sell?" The auction house has specific day to sell things, so someone going there in other day is probably to sell something.
"I want change a equipment for another one." William replied.
"We don't do that, we only sell and buy." the receptionist continued with the amiable smile.
"I know, but I don't wanna change for a equivalent, I will change that for a weaker one." William tried to change he's mind.
"Oh, why do you want a weaker one?" the guy got interested and asked.
"I don't need a equipment that enhances intelligence." William explained.
"So, this one probably has a good effect and you want a equipment without effect but with stats that you use?" the receptionist hesitate, it's a good deal to them, even though the auction house don't lack common equipments, always is good more.And equipments with effects sell the double or more than those without, if the effect is good it can reach the triple.
When he is thinking, a supervisor passed by and see a receptionist only talking he got angry.
"What did you have to think, if a deal is good for us then accept." the man in his 30 appeared and said.
"Sorry supervisor, I forgot about the basic." the receptionist lowered his head and said.
William got stunned seeing a guy stronger than himself lowering his head.
"What type of equipment did you want?" the man asked William.
"A pants, that enhances speed is preferable." William replied a little expectant.
The man looked to the receptionist and the receptionist go to a side hall and bring a fancy pants.
After seeing the pants, William doubted his luck, all of his equipments have a weird esthetic.But he catched that in the same way.

"Then show your equipment." the man said lightly, he knows that nobody will do a joke with the auction house.
William took his rabbit gloves from the pocket and gives to the man, the man didn't even looked at that, and the receptionist who confirmed what equipments is that.After finalizing, William go out and went to Lara's house.
After a while the receptionist said to the supervisor "Why did Mister let he change the equipment?"
"It doesn't any difference to us and we gain a possible great client, so it's nothing." the man said and entered in the deeps of the auction house.
William arrived in front of a mansion and he astonished, such mansion is where Lara lives?
But the mansion is mysterious quietly.William hesitate but jumped the wall.After walking for a while, he didn't see nobody, even maids or guards, there is nothing.
When he arrived in a great hall, he heard a scream.
"Your crazy women, did you know what you are doing?!" an old man is pointing to the front and screaming.
William looked through the gap in the door and sees several people, and the majority is middle-aged or old, and they all looks like have eaten shit.
In the center of the hall is there 4 people but all of them looked weird.
A young man with black horns with majestic presence is in the front, but his face isn't good too.Behind him there is a tall old woman with white horns and she looked furious.
The others two people William knows, but they are strange now.Beatrice is smiling in depreciation, and her arms and legs formed delicate scales, and in her head a pair of little translucent horns appeared.Lara is the other one and she is in the ground fainted, her face is pale like a corpse and she has a smile too, but a tragic one.And the two of them are in a wedding dress.
William is shocked with what he see and when he is going to enter, a angry voice made his body immobilized.
"Is this what you humans want?Make my young master marry with a dead person and a hybrid!?" the old woman said angrily, and everyone in the room is trembling, only a few people stayed normal but their faces are grave.
"Calm down, Lucy." the young man with horns said with suppressed fury.
Lucy stopped and the young man continued to speak "Is this your intentions or they personal decision?"
Before they can speak, the door is kicked.William entered with frosty face, but he didn't go fight.Just with that voice he already knew that rescuing Lara is impossible, so the only option is creating a lie to both the humans and these monsters.
He don't have nothing to lose anyway, when everyone discovered that he can't level up no one talked to him anymore, only Lara.His family too died 10 years ago, he only has his own life to lose.
"You guys are audacious to invade the human territory!" William screamed while taking his phone and putting in live video.
Even though William don't use social media, he has account there, and his account has a lot of persons because he was one of the few people that Lara followed.And Lara is famous by the talent and being of a big family.
The people in the room changed their faces when looking to the phone, they might be the elite of humanity, but if they are seen sitting around while a monster was in their hall with 2 famous genius in wedding dress, they don't dare think about the consequences.
So they entered in battle instance, the young man and Lucy didn't know what is phone, so they thought this is planed.
At the same time, one guy looked to the notification in his phone and is curious.
"This guy is the one that don't have talent but is followed by one of the biggest genius in the humanity, why is he doing a live?Lara might be there." his eyes brightened in this thought and he clicked to watch.
But when he sees 2 humanoid monsters surrounded by several famous powerful people he is stunned.When he heard William speech he understood the situation, immediately he posted that in his social media and sent to everyone he knows.
This happened to several people who followed William, in minutes the live exploded in popularity.
In the hall, the young man looked to everyone and hesitate, they can threat the human race but just him and Lucy is impossible to escape.So he calmed down and wanted to make peace, at least until they escape.
"Your lowly humans, did you think that you all can challenge my young master?!" Lucy screamed and her aura pressured everyone, probably she is the strongest there, but there some with almost the same power, so if they attacked together she is gonna die.
The young man is dumbfounded, he didn't know that Lucy has a pit in the head, when he returns it's better teach somethings to her.
These humans powerhouses are annoyed too, they didn't attack until now to the two escape.They knew the background of the two.
Some minutes passed in silence, the people in the live exponentially increased, and they are talking about why those powerhouses aren't attacking.
"Father, the people will suspect if we delay more time." a middle-aged man arrived near a old man and quietly said
"Looks we don't have other option." the old man said frowning.
"Attack they, but without killing, let they seen a narrow escape." the old man said after thinking for a while.
The middle-aged man went to transmit this to everyone.After a while they attacked, Lucy and the young man didn't expect that they dare to attack.So Lucy catched the young man and like the wind dodged, William's eyes can't catch the movement, much less the lens of the camera.
Out of the hall a woman appeared with blood all over and with a young man in her hand.The young man is with random wounds too.
He gritted his teeth and screamed to the hall's direction "You all will pay this, I Joseph, will come again."
