Chapter 3: 3. Werewolf.
Just when she was busy imagining herself with her boyfriend, she heard a sharp noise coming from somewhere. At first, she ignored it and continued to walk down the unknown street. She didn't even know where she was going, but she was so busy in her imagination that she didn't see that she had unknowingly stepped inside a dark alley.
The voice got louder and louder as she walked in the same direction. Just then, she unknowingly heard some words that woke her from her beautiful dream that she was having in her mind with her boyfriend.
"Don-Don't! Boss. I swear I didn't do a thing! Pl-Please spare my life! I-I'll become a spy for you! Yes! I'll become a spy! Please, let me go!"
Hazel frowned when she heard those words, and she couldn't help but feel strange. Was someone going to commit a crime right in front of her eyes?! She looked in that direction, and she could faintly see two figures standing far away in front of her in the dark alley. She walked closer and closer before hiding behind an empty garbage can. Then she sneaked a glance at the people in front of her.
One man in a messy condition was lying on the ground with a terrified expression on his face. He was so scared that his entire face had become pale and filled with sweat. His restless eyes were stuck to the man towering him.
Hazel's gaze turned toward the man standing in the dark right above the man in a messy state. The man in the dark stepped forward and revealed his handsome facial features.
Wait, wasn't it the man she met earlier surrounded with people carrying guns?!
Hazel's eyes widened at that, but she didn't dare to even breathe loudly. Her entire body froze after seeing the man, but there was also another reason why she couldn't take her eyes off of him.
The man was insanely handsome, so much that she could die. She was feeling a strange mixture of fear and attraction that made her feel like she had gone crazy or something.
He especially looked like someone who had crawled out from a TV series with that kind of expression on his face. His entire body was covered with black colored coat with a white shirt inside. She couldn't even move her eyes away from the man, and momentarily forgot that she was here to witness and report a crime. It was good that she had kept the phone in the pockets of her purse that hung on her side. Otherwise, she knew for sure that she would have dropped it.
The man in the dark finally opened his mouth and said, "I told you before. Think carefully before provoking me." He paused as if he wanted to look somewhere else, but he suppressed his urge and stared at the person on the ground with dark eyes. "Don't worry. I won't let you suffer even when you die."
Hazel heard those words, and immediately felt her heart beating faster. That voice sent chills down her spine, but at the same time, she felt her heartbeat getting faster as a trace of blush spread across her face. She didn't know why she was behaving like this in the first place!
Before she could even think of reacting, she saw something that she never thought she would witness.
The man in the dark punched the person beneath him as his body suddenly grew more in size. Under Hazel's shocked gaze, the man's body grew so much that even the clothes around him tightened. His muscles bulged as he continued to grow more and more. Right then, the robes around the man's body were torn into shred because of so much pressure.
What was revealed to Hazel was a delicious naked body of a man in the dark alley.
Hazel's mouth hung open when she continued to see the scene before her eyes. As watched as the man's naked body shone brightly in front of her eyes. She had only one seen a naked man before and that is her boyfriend but she never thought that she will see another guy like this. Ever! And now when she saw him before her eyes like this, she couldn't help but widen her eyes.
But she wasn't worried about this anymore because there was another thing that scared her so much that her entire face went pale.
What she saw was that the man's body suddenly grew out hair. It was so fast that the man's entire body got covered with it. At the same time, his face changed as it formed into the shape of a wolf. Fangs grew from his mouth as nails shone on his fingers that looked sharp enough to kill anyone in front of him.
She watched as a tail grew from the man's tailbone. It was fluffy and big that almost made her chest feel choked up. She couldn't breathe when she saw how big it became. Then all of a sudden, she heard the sound of bone cracking as she saw the man's spine turning. It grew even further and bent down making several cracking sounds that echoed in the background.
Hazel's eyes stuck at that arched hairy back before she gulped and blinked.
This change was so fast that the man changed his entire form in the blink of an eye. By the time Hazel blinked for the second time, the man was already turned into a wolf, Standing on his four legs, staring darkly toward the man in front of him. Even the man's face was pale. He was trembling like a leaf as if he had just seen a ghost. Sweat formed on his forehead as he stared at the wolf in front of him with constricted pupils.
It almost felt as if he was in disbelief after seeing a human changing into a werewolf all of a sudden.
