Chapter 124: First Unofficial Guild Gathering; The Girls VS The Blade Lizard (3)

If you're playing MMORPGs, you must've heard of PK and MPK'ers. I don't really mind PK that much since it's sometimes a part of some games but I don't like MPK'ers at all.
MPK'ers are those people who have something wrong in the head and takes pleasure in killing other players using a cheap tactic such as luring numerous monsters towards an unsuspecting player.

(Shun's POV)
As our journey to the Blade Lizard's nest went underway, we were met with a huge obstacle. That obstacle is the complete and utter cuteness of our vanguard.
"To level up your [Armour] Sense, you have to make the monster-sans go *BAM* and *BANG*, nanodesu!" Pochi explained with a serious look on her face. This is probably the most serious look I've seen her put up ever since we met her.
She was making wide gestures, including some light kicks and punches to demonstrate what *BAM* and *BANG* was supposed to mean. Tama, who was at the receiving end of the punches, pretended to be hurt, even going as far as throwing a dramatic "Ahh~! Tama is hurt~?" into the mix.
"The monster hit you, you level up~…"
Their method of teaching is surprisingly good. There's the actions to teach a visual learner faster, and there's sound effects to teach an audio learner.
The explanations are also short and concise. Though, I don't think it would hurt for them to expand on it a bit more.
"Ooooh~! Tsuka, understand!" Nevermind, Tsuka understood them, apparently.
"Then, then, when the monster-sans become bigger and stronger, they give you lots and lots more ee-ex-pi, nanodesu!"
"They give more money, too~."
"Strong, more ee-ex-pi, more money?"
And the tutorial continued on and on with the nine of us namely: me, Kaede-san, Rikka-san, Miu, Lucato-san, Mutsuko-san, Hino-chan, Toutobi-san, and Satania-san… Some of the girls, especially Miu, were itching to come forward and squish the girls in a bear hug but they eventually decided against it, since they wanted to watch the cuteness a little bit longer.
Since I and Mutsuko-san won't be joining them, we decided to give them some items to support them in their fight.
"Ku-hum… They are all so adorable…" Lucato-san said, coughing to try and maintain her cool.
"Ah, Lucato-san, we should distribute the items that I and Mutsuko-san have to everyone who's going to fight. These will help you battle the enemies."
I was the first to open a trade screen, stopping Lucato-san dead in her tracks.
"You mean we should give them some of the potions and stuff that we made? You have some of the potions with you, right? I'll just replenish it if you give some to them."
"Alright. I also think they'd need it…" I paused for a moment before putting a lot of [Boost Marbles] and [Blue Potions] on the trade window.
"Well, just take these for now. The recovery and buffs should be okay with the help of these.
"W-why do you have so much of those?!"
"Wha-what happened?"
After she checked the item she received, Lucato-san raised her voice in confusion, so Hino-chan asked anxiously.
"...A hundred of the luxury Bluepots and the popular [Boost Marbles], those status rising items."
Miu and her party was surprised, except for of course the members of the [Group Chat]. They already know about these items after all.
And so, I went on and on explaining the different types of [Boost Marbles], what the keyword is, as well as how to use them. These items are fairly easy to use so I don't think they'd have a hard time using them.
"W-we can't take luxury Bluepots and such valuable items like this!"
"Hm? Is that so? But I insist. You're a member of our Guild now, even though it's still not established, so you should take these."
I sort of forced her to take the items with her and she have no choice but to take them and quickly distribute them since we already arrived.
"Well, I'll pull the Blade Lizard here. Take the potions and the [Boost Marbles] before the Blade Lizard attack."
"Eh? Eeeeeh!?" Lucato-san was obviously confused but without a push, she simply wouldn't take those items that I'm giving her.

(Third Person's POV)
Shun drew the bow even though they were still 50 meters away from the Blade Lizard, making not only Lucato but Hino, Toutobi, and Myu raise their voice in confusion.
Without using any [Arts], Shun drew his bow and managed to land a shot 40m away from the Blade Lizard.
"Well, that still shaved off some of its HP? Ah, Pochi, Tama, Tsuka, come here. We can't join your onee-chans in this fight."
"""Okaaay~!/Okay, nanodesu!"""
And thus, the battle between the newly made party and the Blade Lizard started.
""Fireball"—!"
Right away, before the Blade Lizard could reach them, Satania fired her fireballs at the boss as soon as the skill goes off cool down. Meanwhile, Kaede went to the vanguard and readied herself to 'receive' the incoming boss monster, her shield in her front to block any incoming attacks.
As the long distance attacks with the fireballs shaved off 23% of the lizard's HP, it eventually reached Kaede. However, when everyone except Satania thought that she would be blown away by that huge force that she took, Kaede didn't even budge an inch after receiving that attack head on.
Her HP barely even moved. This was because, aside from her [Armour] Sense being already at level 30, Kaede stacked it up with her [Metal Armour] Sense, [Shield] Sense, and the defense-type [Boost Marble].
""Heal"! Follow up!" Kaede casually casted a healing spell on herself to immediately recover the little amount of HP that she lost and shouted for her teammates to follow up.
Immediately after hearing her shout, Hino woke up from her stupor and, changing her weapon to a huge hammer, used [Arts] to send the Blade Lizard barrelling midair.
"Haaa—! "Impact"!"
The battle against the Blade Lizard continued to heat up as the five vanguard members; Myu, Toutobi, Lucato, Maple, and Hino, cooperated accurately, damaging the Blade Lizard. When they saw it prepare a dangerous attack with its tail, everyone would move away, except for Maple who would receive that damage since she's too slow to dodge it.
RedArchDemon would use that timing to unleash her more powerful fire magic spells on the Blade Lizard.
"Taste this, my flames of hell! A-hahaha!" With her now patented pose, RedArchDemon, Satania, laughed maniacally as she chucked torrents of fire on the boss monster.
""Heal"! "Calling Shield"!
Seeing that the Blade Lizard's attack animation ended, Maple immediately taunted it, then Hino shattered its scales from the flank by using a large hammer. When Maple's taunt ended, Lucato chained it with her own taunt before Maple protected her from taking any damage using her [Block].
Myu happily followed their CCs by hitting the exposed flesh and Toutobi aimed for weaknesses to get critical hits. When everyone switched to avoiding attacks, RedArchDemon attacked with fire magic.
RedArchDemon didn't have to worry attacking weak points or any of that, as all she needed to do was dish out all the damage she could muster. With a stable formation they continued to deal damage.
At this rate it'll be done soon enough.
However, as expected, not everything could go smooth sailing. Just as everything was going as planned, a man wrapped with a black cloak came running towards them with a huge cloud of dust trailing behind him.
This man was still far away, but it was certainly a player. As the distance between the party taking the Blade Lizard and the man gradually drew close, those who are paying attention to him finally recognized that he had a large amount of monsters behind him.
"That guy, he's pulling monsters." Shun said with a serious expression on his face.
"Pulling monsters, nodesu? Is that bad nanodesu!?"
"Baad~?"
"Master, pulling monster, bad?"
The three kids were curious as to what made Shun serious and they immediately thought that pulling monsters is bad. Well, they're not entirely wrong but they're not right either.
"It's not the action of pulling that is bad. You see, he's pulling a large amount of monsters towards us, right?" At his question, the three kids nodded their heads.
"That's what's bad. He's maliciously trying to kill us all by dragging all those monsters towards us."
"Malicious, nodesu? I don't know that word, nanodesu!" Pochi said as she tilted her head to the side.
"Malicious is bad thoughts, you know~?" Tama explained.
""Ohhh!"" It was not only Pochi who 'ooh-ed' after hearing the explanation. Tsuka also joined in, as she also did not know what that word meant, well not until now.
"Pulling monsters towards other players is not bad if you're doing it for your party or Guildmates. BUT, pulling monsters towards people you don't know in order to kill them is what's bad. That is called MPK'er…" Rikka further extrapolated.
"Then, then, this person is a bad person nanodesu!?"
"Bad people, punish~!"
"Tsuka, too!"
Leaving those few words, the three kids ran towards the man at a fast speed. Rikka followed after them while Shun casted SPEED, ATTACK, and DEFENSE enchants towards them to help them. Meanwhile, Mutsuko have a bunch of her weapons at the ready.
This man is called the Train Man, a guy who kills players with the help of monsters. Players thought that the guy was an NPC at first but the evidence says otherwise.
