Chapter 204: Visiting The Dungeon! (1)

Maintaining a healthy balance between life and social life could be hard. You might even lose touch with your friends if you aren't careful.

(Shun's POV)
Ever since the activation of the [Dimensional Train], no one from our [Group Chat] is yet to access it. This is mainly because almost all of us are busy tending to our lives in our own dimensions. Us five who went to the previous [Quest] are still taking a break and getting busy with school and the game, similar to what Satania-san, Kaede-san, and Rikka are doing.
Pochi and Tama, along with their caretaker named Liza, is currently busy with their preparations in their departure to somewhere in their world called the Labyrinth City. Besides, even if they aren't busy, the two girls are too busy training themselves to be bothered in doing that.
A lot has happened over the past two weeks or so since the day the five of us went back home from that quest. Take for example; Ritsu, Yukiko-san, Rinka-san, and Touka-san was introduced to Kaede-san, Rikka, and Satania-san.
After probably what felt like almost a month — including the time they spent in [OSO] which is a day per 8 hours everyday — of interacting with Rikka, Satania-san, and Kaede-san, they were able to talk to each other at a familiar level already. I sometimes marvel at how fast those girls could familiarize themselves with each other.
It almost felt like a blink of an eye before they were finally able to communicate with each other as if they knew each other for a very long time. I guess going through an adventure at [NWO] and [OSO] with the three girls; Satania-san, Kaede-san, and Rikka together was enough for them to become close.
Speaking of [NWO] and [OSO], it seems like a clear divide in interest between the two games has finally formed inside our group.
There's the first group who focused their gaming time mostly on [OSO]: Touka-san, Satania-san, and Pochi. However, since there's a limit on how long we could play the game, they could still clock in a pretty decent amount of playing time in [NWO].
Satania-san is very dedicated in trying to 'conquer' the game world of [Only Sense Online] whilst Touka-san and Pochi prefer it mostly because it is very relaxing to play.
The second group are those who prefer playing [New World Online] and have mostly spent most of their free time playing it like; Fenny, Kaede-san, Rinka-san, and Tama. Fenny prefers [NWO] over [OSO] more for some reason whilst Kaede-san plays [NWO] more often because of her friend Risa-san.
As for Rinka-san and Tama, they play the game because their favorite weapon/equipment is in that game, namely; the assault rifle and the full ninja equipment set. The assault rifle is something that Mutsuko-san made by the way, as part of her experiment in making equipments at that game.
The third and last group are those who play both games extensively. Me, Tsuka, Yukiko-san, Rikka, Ritsu, Rokuko, and Mutsuko are those people.
We mostly play the game like the first group but, we are more, let's just say, devout about grinding in both games or something. After all, there are times when the first group would entirely not play [NWO] for a day or so.
Looking at the date on my phone's calendar, I saw that it is already the 6 PM on Friday. We'll be visiting Mutsuko's dimension at around Saturday noon or something so I should have time to visit Rokuko and our dungeon before that.
"Hmm… Should I invite the others to visit Rokuko's dimension?" I muttered to myself.
Picking up my phone again, I opened the [Group Chat] and checked if anybody is online as of right now.

Yukiko: [Water Magic Talent] really suits me more if I want to practice my aim more, Ritsu.
[System Fairy] Ritsu: That's good to hear, Yukiko-san. You took the [Staff] Sense as well?
Yukiko: Yep! I did! I could use it to whack monsters just fine!
Yukiko: I'm still getting used to the aim in [Water Bullet] though. Since I could fire so many bullets at once, I'm having a bit of a harder time with it compared to a gun. This is so much better than trying out the bow though…
System Message: Shun is now online…
Shun: Evening Yukiko-san, Ritsu. You two are about to play [OSO]?
[System Fairy] Ritsu: Affirmative, Shun-san. We are just waiting for our two classmates to go online…
Yukiko: That's right, Shun-kun. We're about to go to the West to defeat Golem-sensei this time.

Hee, that's good to hear. They're making a lot of progress, huh.
I guess the others should be there already, waiting for them to go online.
I was just about to type my reply to Yukiko-san's message when another message from her came.

Yukiko: How are you, Shun-kun? You just came back from school?
Shun: Ah, I just got home. What about you guys? Enjoying playing the game while the school year is yet to come?
Yukiko: Yes! That right!
[System Fairy] Ritsu: Shun-san, do you need a status report regarding your business?
Shun: Ah, just send it to me later, Ritsu. I logged in to check out who's online. However, it seems like it's just the two of you who are online right now.
Yukiko: Why, Shun-kun? Do you have something to say to us?
Shun: Not really. If I have something to tell all of you, I could just use my authority as the [Admin] to call all of you in the [Group Chat], you know? Haha.
[System Fairy] Ritsu: Or I could just call everyone for you…
Yukiko: Oh, I totally forgot about that…
Shun: Hahaha, I also forget that I'm the [Admin] sometimes…
[System Fairy] Ritsu: You just used your authority last night to mute Satania-san, Shun-san.
Shun: Ah, right, right. You don't need to remind me that you know, Ritsu.
[System Fairy] Ritsu: Haa…
Yukiko: Fufufu, you're really straightforward, Ritsu-san.
Shun: Well, that was awkward. Saa, I will be leaving now. I'll talk to you guys again later!

Looking at the two's message saying goodbye, I logged out and placed my smartphone on my pocket. Well, I should first tell Mom that I wouldn't go home tonight.
Thus, I left my room and went to Mom who should be at the kitchen right now baking some cake and cookies.
"Mom, I'll go out with my friends! I'll be back at around Saturday night."
"Alright, take care Shun. Make sure to contact me from time to time, okay?"
"Thanks Mom. See ya!" Right after saying that, I gave her a kiss on the cheek before heading straight towards the main entrance door of our house.
'Man, I'm really lucky to have such an understanding mother, huh.' I thought to myself while stopping in front of our house's front door.

Alright, according to the instructions given to us by the system of the [Group Chat], one way to enter inside the [Dimensional Train Station] — the station in which we could ride the [Dimensional Train] — is to do what we usually do before opening a portal for our world travel. This is to open the [Dimensional Train App] and point it towards the door.
'Is it like this?' I thought to myself while pointing the camera to the door.
The moment I opened the door, I was transported to a very futuristic looking place that resembles that of the train stations here in Japan. What's more, the train here looks like the [Shinkansen], but it's more streamline in design, luxurious looking, and…
"The heck? Why is this floating above the rails? Eh? There are no rails? Is this even a train anymore?" I muttered to myself while closing the door behind me.
Whilst I was left dumbfounded, I heard a familiar voice coming from everywhere.
『Welcome to the [Dimensional Train Station], Shun-san…』
"Huh? Ritsu?"
『That's right, Shun-san…』
So it's Ritsu, huh. Now that I think about it, she's the [Trainee System Fairy], so she should have been assigned to run this place or something?
『Which dimension is your destination, Shun-san? There's currently 8 dimensions you can travel into…』
"Really now? Is there a name for these dimensions or something?" I asked since I am curious whether or not our dimensions have names.
『Yes, there is a name for your dimensions. Please refer to the [Dimensional Train App] to check which dimensions it is and which dimensions does each [Group Chat] members belongs to, Shun-san…』
After listening to Ritsu's instructions, I looked at my phone once again and checked the dimensions on the app.
The app doesn't have anything extra besides showing a list of dimensions I can travel to, the cost of the traveling ticket, and the cost of extending that travel time. It seems like it could still be upgraded but it's probably through some quests again.
Anyway, the dimensions written in here is like this:

When I clicked a specific dimension, it shows the members of the [Group Chat] who are living in that specific dimension.
For the record, neither I nor the other members of my group have seen each other's dimensions in a work of fiction in our own worlds. It's either that or we never searched hard enough.
Although we have some chuunis in our group, they are of different breed and not your usual otaku who consumes anime, manga, and light novels.
Satania-san is a natural born chuuni, that one who never really needed the influence of other mediums such as those that are mentioned above to turn into one.
Rikka-san is your typical example of an otaku turned chuuni but she only consumes those that are popular and mainstream, ignoring the other stuffs. Most of her time is consumed with gaming so there's that as well.
Then there's Mutsuko-san who have read many books and mangas but of the fantasy variety. While she did say at some point that Pochi and Tama's world seems a little familiar to her, she is yet to remember what the title of the book, manga, or whatever she have read is.
There's the internet that we could use to search for it but, to be honest, no one really felt the need to do so as of right now. There's also the fear of knowing what our future holds, and the uncertainty of what we should do if ever we get our hands on those information.
Honestly, the current status quo is already good as it is. Anyway, that and the lovable weebs of our [Group Chat] aside, I should just get going now.
I already have the list of the dimensions memories and the names so I think we could finally start gathering some information about our worlds
"I'll buy just the 1,000 d-coins ticket."
After I bought the ticket, Ritsu told me to head over to the train and it should automatically allow me to board it. Once I was inside, I felt a slight dizziness then the surroundings turned into a beautiful festival of lights with differing colors.
When I looked in front, it's like numerous lights were hitting me and passing through me.
Moments later, an announcement rang from inside the train.
『We have reached the Lazy Dungeon Master dimension…』
"Whoah, that was fast…" I muttered to myself while standing up from my seat.
