I watched as my twin sister — Riley's small back depart through the forest. I only turn around to the rundown house when her back is already out of sight.
Turning around, a rundown wooden house greeted my view. I sigh looking at such a dirty, unorganized, and cluttered house. The house looks like it has been abandoned for ages.
I sigh and walk toward the back of our current rundown house where the vast, clear open field was located.
A healthy green grass spread over kilometers wide, wind blowing past through the grass making it sway gently. In the distance, one can see dense trees but it is so far that it looks small standing from here.
Wylie sat in the chair he made yesterday. He opens his 'Status' and opens the Quest Function and clicks on the [Personal Quest].

Wylie pick up a nearby stone that was the size of an adults fist.
Holding an ordinary stone in his palm. He began to envision its desired function and appearance.
Firstly, He utilizes the mana that flows in his veins and guided it on the stone. His Passive Skill [Mana Control] us activated at this moment which help Wylie use the mana without unnecessary excess and greatly reduce the mana consumption.
Wylie's mana began to flow on the ordinary rock. The rock minutes later began to glow a fluorescent green. This is the first stage of the Magic Stone — Mana Gathering
A bead of sweat slides down Wylie's small face as he focuses then minutes later Wylie sighed in relief.

In his hand, the ordinary stone changed to a semi-magic stone.
A semi-magic stone is a stone that contains a high mana. This stone is very attractive to a fledging mage as it can supply its mana. But what Wylie wants to create is not this but the magic stone.
Magic stone is more complex than semi-magic stone. It is more than a stone that contain mana but also a precious gemstone that contains elements. There are many types of magic stones as there are human elements in this world but magic stone is very rare and can be brought at a high prince in market.
One cannot create a magic stone. It cannot artificially reproduce as its main ingredient is the breath of nature.
Of course, Wylie is an exception because his and her sisters existence is a bug itself
A magic stone is formed deep underground. It started as an ordinary stone but the mana that flows within nature made it evolve.
Just like in the book by Charles Darwin "On the Origin of the Species". It says that species evolved and everything continued to change gradually.
In this world, however, Rock also evolve. It can evolve into magic rock.

The Second Phase of Magic Stone Evolution is the Core Etablishment
The rock underground was infected by the mana and gradually develop its core over time but the core is only the size of a marble.
The core became the storage or source of the rock to absorb the mana and when it reach its full capacity.
It processed the mana into an element. This is the third stage of Magic Stone Evolution - the Element Formation
Its element will depend on its location — for example, a water magic stone is developed in a hydrological area. The earth magic stone which is the most common is under the land and the stone near the volcano develop the Igneous magic stone or commonly known as the fire magic stone.
[Info: Do you guys know Igneous Rock? Igneous comes from the Latin word "Ignis" meaning Fire. There are three types of rock: Igneous Rock, Sedimentary Rock, and Metamorphosis Rock. Also, Rock has a rock cycle!]
When the element is developed. They will unconsciously absorb the breath of nature making their mana stronger and their attack sturdier. That's why Eleven Race, with the gift of nature is stronger than humans.
Wylie recalls the knowledge he read in the book before. He looks at the semi-magic rock and imagines that a core is slowly forming at the center with the help of the mana. He guided and manipulated the mana to entangle each other.
Wylie is too focused that he didn't notice his mana dropping rapidly. Thankfully, because of its Passive Skill [Mana Control]. The mana cost was greatly reduce!

Time pass by and Wylie finally created the core commonly known as the magic core.
The First Step is to create a semi-magic stone or the process of Mana Gathering.
The second step is to create the magic core or the process of Core Establishment
Now the third step is to make it develop an attribute or element — Element Formation.
An element suitable for making a barrier is the wind magic stone.
Wind magic stone is the rarest among the four. The earth magic stone is the most common. The water magic stone is uncommon and the fire magic stone is the hardest to get.

Wylie took a deep breath and activated its [Active Skill: Attribute Grant]
Holding the partial magic stone in his hand. He closes his eyes as the [Active Skill: Attribute Grant] activated
[A/N: It was semi at first because it only contain mana and now become 'partial' because it develop its core]
The Attribute grant did nothing but make it easier for him to bestow elements and skills. Unlike blacksmith, who bestowed its element on a sword using magic stones. Wylie call on the Magic Spirit like how he bestowed a fire element on its arrow.
The drawback of an Attribute Grant is that it will cause MP and HP. After all, such overpowered Skill cannot be free, unlike their skill 'Creation' and Riley's 'Destruction' which is already their innate skill.
Thankfully, when using an attribute grant, this kind of interface will appear.

Wylie suddenly felt pain all over his body.

After resting, Wylie sat up and look at the Complete Magic Stone in his hands and smile brightly. Wylie could also feel the magic stone containing the breath of nature. 'Maybe it was the bonus of the Attribute Grant' after all...
Skills themselves are a gift from the will of the world.
