Chapter 173: Chapter 2505 Devastation Causes Opportunities to Rise
The metallic head stared down at Heaven and Spectral Soul.
*Gulp*
Both Spectral Soul and Heaven swallowed hard when faced with the presence of the Colossal of Elements.
"Y…y…yo…" the words couldn't form from Spectral Soul's mouth as his finger was shaking.
"Get a hold of yourself!" Heaven slapped Spectral Soul across the face, "There is no flawless being in the world, even this thing must have a weakness!"
Spectral Soul chided Heaven in response, "Ya it may have a weakness, the question is will we live long enough to find it!"

Heaven was taken aback but realized Spectral Soul's point.
"This thing can bring behind it the force of an entire continent! It is equivalent to a mobile Saint! Even if its weakness were its prohbitaviely absurd amount of Immortal Essence expenditure, knowing Fang Yuan, he would have stockpiled enough Immortal Essence to achieve his goal…there may be only one choice…"
Heaven called out to the colossal, "Fang Yuan! I surrender Fire-"
But before Heaven could finish the colossal raised its arms, piercing through the cloud floor of Spectral Heaven, before slamming them back down.
"Shit!" both Spectral Soul and Heaven shouted in unison.
The pair instantly teleported away.
Just as they left the colossal's arms crashed into Spectral Heaven's foundation, and the rumbling shook the entirety of Spectral Heaven.
Hundreds of Thousands of Soul Beasts, that were natives of White and Black Heaven, now part of Spectral Heaven, fled toward the 5 Regions, causing the first even Soul Beast tide that plagued the entire Gu World.
Of course, this was only a problem for mortals, for the Venerables, their attention was drawn to the Eastern Sea portion of Spectral Heaven, or at least, what was left of it.
"This is…" the collective thoughts of all the Venerables could be summed up by their utter lack of words to describe the horrors that lay before them.
The Eastern Sea portion of Spectral Heaven had been transformed into a hell on Earth,
In White and Black Heaven Qi wind storms were regular occurrences but now in the dilapidated and ruined Spectral Heaven, nothing but Qi storms were raging across.
Thought, in contrast to what happened to the skies of Spectral Heaven the Qi Stroms were nothing!
Spectral Heaven was a land of Darkness and wandering Souls, as the fusion between White and Black Heaven inheritated both their traits, but now in the Eastern Sea,
The skies above blazed with an unrelenting fury!
As if a new sun was in place, no one would look at the ominous crimson red as anything other than an apocalyptic sight!
What made the sight even more dreary, was the constant rain that was pouring down, in contrast to the perpetually blazing red sky!
If a mortal were to visit Spectral Heaven they would be dead on arrival!
Furious squalls of sharp Qi winds, rain that is ever pouring and being heated up by the burning skies, and to top it all off a terrain that has a crater that opened Spectral Heaven to 5 Regions.
The crater was a quarter the size of the Eastern Sea!
"Fang Yuan upset the balance of all the Dao Marks in Spectral Heaven by amplifying them with Elemental Dao Marks." Star Constellation couldn't break her stare from the tragic sight of Spectral Heaven.
All venerables were capable of producing such levels of destruction, but Fang Yuan did it with just a casual swing of his arms,
The sight of Spectral Heaven made them truly realize how far behind they were compared to Fang Yuan, and how all their schemes always seemed to fail; Fang Yuan was holding back!
"That crafty demon…" Genesis Lotus gritted his teeth, "He waited till he was unstoppable before acting, he made absolutely sure of it!"
Indeed, Fang Yuan had always possessed the tools to beat the Venerables but it wasn't until he completed his trump card did he decide to reveal his true strength.
"Genesis," Star Constellation turned to him.
Genesis Lotus perked up,
"Can you gain insight into how Fang Yuan accomplished the Killer Move Colossal of Elements? I want the Central Continent to have its own."

Genesis Lotus stumbled slightly, "I'm afraid such a move is…hard to say the least, it involves so many different paths…and you saw the resources he used to create this move…he used his special Gu House Gus to make it possible."
That's right! The things Fang Yuan was placing at the far reaches of the Eastern Sea was an array that focused on the unique creation he came up with, Gu House Gus!
To take command of the elements of an entire region, was not something that was easily done, even for Fang Yuan, he used these arrays, combined with Gu House Gus of the respective 5 elements, to act as focal points, allowing him to reach the entire region!
It would have required nearly quintuple the Immortal Essence to use the Killer Move colossal of the Elements without the array of Gu House Gus!
Star Constellation gripped her fists tightly, "We need to find a way!"
She turned away from the destruction of Spectral Heaven, "Right now we're in a precarious situation."

Red Lotus asked, "Fang Yuan is undefeatable in this current era, the only hope we have is if Primordial Origin steps in and-"
Star Constellation cut Red Lotus off, "I'm not talking about Fang Yuan."
Puzzled faces were all Star Constellation got in return.
She explained, "Fang Yuan is no longer a concern of ours, with his displayed level of strength it'll only be a matter of time before he is expelled from the 5 regions."
"Especially after he acquires Fire Gu, with the natural resonance of the Dao of Elements, Fire Gu would already want to submit itself to Fang Yuan, but Heaven is no fool either, he knows Fang Yuan is his greatest obstacle and thus, he will most likely offer Fire Gu to Fang Yuan with no resistance, allowing him to refine it with complete ease!"
"I see," Red Lotus said, "So he is going to be the 3rd venerable to ever ascend?"
"Yes," Star Constellation nodded, "That's the plan."
"What we need to concern ourselves with is the immediate power vacuum that will take place after Fang Yuan's ascension," Star Constellation led the group to a display of the 5 regions, it was a new and improved Star Chessboard, but it held no use in a battle amongst Venerables.
"The Eastern Sea is not only going to be defenceless once Fang Yuan leaves but it is also going to be richer than ever before!"
"Thanks to Fang Yuan completely overturning the Region on its head, all the precious materials that lay dormant in the underwater Earth veins and Volcanoes, are now being brought to the surface!"
The eyes of the other 2 Venerables lit up,
"Then that means we can finally restock Heavenly Court's foundations!" Genesis Lotus exclaimed.
Star Constellation nodded, "That's where the trouble begins…Giant Sun, Heaven and Spectral Soul are most likely aware of this as well."
"Heaven still wants to deal with Earth and so he will continue to accumulate more strength or deny us the chance to accumulate strength, whereas Spectral Soul has never let his bloodlust die down."
"Wait," Red Lotus interjected, "How do we know Fang Yuan won't just plunder the entire Region before his ascension ?"
"It's a good question," Star Constellation nodded, "But you have no need to worry, the moment Fang Yuan touches Fire Gu the ascension progress will begin and as long as he is in the middle of ascending he will not be able to interfere with the world!"
"But that doesn't change the fact he could use his subordinates to gather resources for him." Genesis Lotus also chimed in.
"True. It is what he would most likely attempt, but we have subordinates as well and as long as he is ascending he will not be able to attack or interfere either, so it is essential a race collect the most materials."
"I see," both Genesis Lotus and Red Lotus responded.
"Err should I be here for this?" a feminine voice questioned from the side of the table.
It was Ying Guang Xing!
Since the battle was over, as per their contract, Ying Guang Xing was free to remain and make conscious decisions until Heaven was defeated.
"Sure, why not?" Star Constellation smiled, "We're on the same side."
Ying Guang Xing gave a half smile, "Yea thanks but no thanks, I will rather be on the winning side right now, and even if Fang Yuan can't touch any of the Immortal Materials spewing forth, I have no doubt he will mobilize the entire Sovereign Aperture to act."
"And trust me, if it comes to a race for pure material collection, there is no greater force in the entire 5 Regions than Fang Yuan's."
Those words caused the other 3 Venerables to frown.
