Chapter 16: Chapter 15
TITLE: Battle trials

I think I should explain some things before we get this show on the road.
Firstly, why does mc not recognize zero two? That's pretty simple because he lost a huge chunk of his memory and I'm not sure every otaku has watched darling in the franxX.
Next, why did mc lose part of his memory? Well as the ROB said, there'll be a price to pay to get some of the quirk's power and the price he paid was a part of his memory.
Why did he even have to pay a price? That's quite simple, I said he met a ROB, not a God. To me, they're two different things: a God is absolute, a ROB is like a demi-god, and so while a god can grant someone wishes without a price being paid, a ROB cannot. This is based on my own understanding, other people's own is different.
And for the costume, I don't really plan to change anything except adding a mask maybe. If you have a suggestion, do tell me, I might listen.
I'll address issues like the curse and such in the next interview, thanks for your time.

"Now, it's time for combat training"
Said all might as he looked at his students but then Tenya Iida in his costume raised a hand as he said
"Sir, this is the fake city from our entrance exam, those that mean we'll be battling robots again?"
"Nope, I'll be taking you two steps ahead," he said while he showed his 2 fingers before continuing "most of the fights with villains take place in public but statistics show that run-ins with the most dastardly evildoers take place indoors"
"Think about it, underground layers, backroom deals, home invasions. Truly smart villains hide in the dark. For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good and bad guys for 2-on-2 battles"
"Isn't this a little intense?" a certain frog like girl tilted her head
"The best training takes place on the battlefield. But remember, you're not dealing with robots this time but actual people now"
"Sir, will you be the one deciding those who wins?"
"How much can we hurt our opponent?"
"Do we have to worry about being expelled like our last class if we lose?"
Before all might had finished, a myriad of questions was asked.
"I wasn't finished talking," said the slightly flustered all might. Taking a book out of who knows where he began explaining the trial to them
"This situation is thus: the villains have hidden a bomb in a certain floor of the building and the heroes have to foil their plans. This can be done by either capturing the villains or neutralizing the bomb by getting in contact with it. Likewise, the villains have to stop the heroes by either capturing them or preventing them from touching the bomb"
"There's no time to waste, we'll choose teams by drawing lots"
Some wondered why and freckles (Izuku) explained that in emergency situations hero are grouped with other random heroes thus this will help them adapt in the future and with that, they began drawing lots.

Moments later, Sora could be seen looking at a blue-haired girl, wearing headphones and had red markings directly underneath her eyes.
He couldn't help but smile as he thought 'so she's my partner' before walking towards her and saying "Sora Menhera, nice to meet you"
"Oh, I'm Kyoka Jiro" the girl responded before saying "nice to meet you too, I hope we get along"
A while later, all might stood between 2 boxes, one being black with 'villain' written on it while the other was white with 'hero' written on.
He put his hand into the box as he declared who the first teams to fight were:
"Team D (villains) vs. Team A (heroes)"
This was the same as saying Bakugo vs. Midoriya as they both were in team D and A respectively.
"The rest will follow me to the monitoring room to watch"
Sora looked at the two and thought 'this will be brutal' before walking with the rest.

Moments later,
The battle had come to an end and the heroes had won, though Izuku was sent to the infirmary due to using his quirk and Bakugo's attack while the rest of the participants returned to the monitoring room.
Seeing them, Sora couldn't help but look at Bakugo in disappointment, the guy got angry too easily though it helped with his quirk, and it just wasn't a great asset. Sora believed if Katsuki didn't have great battle instincts, he wouldn't be that strong as if someone was able to anger him, he won't think rationally and just charge in.
Let's take this fight for example, if Izuku hadn't trained his body, he doubted he would have survived as that explosion was no joke.
He could only sigh as he waited his turn which didn't come much later.
"Team F (villains) vs. Team E (heroes)"
Sora and Jiro were team F while Denki and Tokoyami were team E.
He couldn't but smile bitterly as he thought of Denki's discharge and Tokoyami's dark shadow.
He wracked his brain for a while and finally, a solution appeared in his head as he said "oh this will be fun"
He walked towards the building and met his partner on the way, who seemed to be nervous. He smiled as he said:
"Don't worry, we're going to win"
"How are you so sure?"
"Because, I'M HERE," he said trying to copy all might's face causing Jiro to chuckle as she said "okay, I'll try my best" to which he nodded

They soon arrived at the bomb and the buzzer sounded indicating the start of the battle.
Not wasting a second Jiro asked, "so what's the plan?"
"Huh… oh right. Could you use your quirk to find their location?"
"On it" she said as she plugged her earphone jacks to the floor.
Sora looked at this and smiled, though he could do this by himself using the wind, he decided against it as if he did that, Jiro will be completely useless.
"They're on the third floor and seem to be on the move"
"Headed here huh. Welp, I'll be going now" Sora said as he began levitating above the ground
"Where are you going to?"
"To the heroes"
"Got a plan"
"Nope"
"…"
"…"
"Good luck, don't lose"
"Lose? I'll try not to" Sora scoffed as he flew off.

While this was happening, Kaminari and Tokoyami could be seen running through the third floor.
Tokoyami looked at his partner and asked "are you sure he'll come to us?"
"Yes, he's that kind of guy I think. Rather than waste his time waiting, he'll head to us and get it over with. When he comes, you know the plan"
Kaminari replied with absolute confidence as if he knew Sora his whole life. Tokoyami nodded before focusing back on the path ahead but then…
BOOOOOMMM*
The wall was destroyed as a boy with brown hair wearing a black costume appeared, his eyes cold as he looked at the duo.
Kaminari looked at him and wondered if he was the same person he spoke to this morning but before he could think of anything, he heard
"Yo, let's get this done and over with," Sora said with a smile
Kaminari looked at Tokoyami and the latter nodded before shouting "go dark shadow"
A black bird-like creature came out of Tokoyami's stomach and charged at Sora.
Sora looked at the shadow headed his way and his smile vanished as his cold eyes resurfaced causing the shadow, Tokoyami, and Kaminari to drop to a knee, unable to move due to the pressure on them.
Sora whistled seeing this as he thought 'damn, air pressure is so cool'
The onlookers were surprised as they thought
'A mere look from him made his opponents bow, how strong is he?'
He soon released the air pressure as he muttered "okay let's end this" before shooting himself at Tokoyami.
But when he was just a few meters away from him, Kaminari appeared and shouted "discharge" before releasing a massive amount of current, Tokoyami used dark shadow to protect himself but Sora was too close so he couldn't dodge.
Moments after the shock, Tokoyami stood up and asked one in particular "is he down?" But then he heard
"Damn, that almost killed me"
He looked in the direction the voice came from and saw Sora. He was surprised he was still standing but what surprised him most was the fact that Sora was perfectly fine. He couldn't but mutter
"H-How?"
"Don't you know? All your tricks are useless before true power" he sneered but thought 'yeah that's just bullshit, I'm immune to electricity if my opponent is dumb and Denki fits that category perfectly'
"Anyway…" he said before vanishing.
Appearing behind Tokoyami, he chopped him on the neck causing him to collapse. He picked up his body before heading to the brain-dead Kaminari and chopping him too.
Bringing the two to the bomb room, he said to Jiro "all done"
She looked at the two unconscious boys before looking at Sora, who seemed perfectly fine and couldn't help but be surprised.
[The villains win!]
All might's voice sounded snapping Jiro out of her shock as she headed to Sora and asked "how did you do it?"
He began explaining what he did as they headed to the monitoring room completely forgetting about their opponents who were lying on the floor.
