I am right now, in front of a clumsily built shack in the middle of the desert. It took me 15 days to arrive here. I had spent the past 2 weeks analysing the desert, it's boundaries and well, in general, it's topography. I was planning on finding a suitable terrain to start building a base for the peacekeeping organisation I plan on building. The reason I did not use my Six Eyes to collect all this information is due to the fact that I am busy training my mental power by using 3 ocular powers (Akashic Eyes, Six Eyes and Eye Of Samsara).
On my shoulders, there is a golden silver cat with ruby like eyes and slit pupils, looking at the shack with an amused expression on her face. I have come to understand her pretty well in my travels for these 2 weeks. Her name is the same as the name of a Hindu mythological character, Sita. She was quite confused when I did not show any confusion or surprise on listening to her name. For people on this continent, the name Sita is like a foreign name altogether.
I moved to the door, opened it and walked inside after taking a glance (Obviously through my blindfold) at a white haired man, with a frost complexion and pale white skin. He got slightly guarded and tensed on seeing me enter. Well, the aura around me is enough to tell others that I am not someone to be trifled with. I skim through the goods kept at display. Look around for a bit and then decide to talk to him. I did not find anything of much importance in his collections.
"A pleasure meeting you, Ice Emperor Hai BoDong" I smiled and said.
(HAI BODONG POV)
I was living my life in seclusion as always, far-away from troublesome matters and people, when today the most unusual man I ever saw appeared in front of me. He had a blindfold on, yet he walked and moved as though he could see everything. When his gaze landed on me, it felt as though he could see through my very existence. A very uncomfortable thing to me, who did not like privacy getting invaded one bit. He had an ethereal and soothing aura to him and it seemed like nothing in this world could do anything to change this aspect of him.
Although he looked 15-16 years old, yet I knew I could not underestimate him. He approached me and spoke, "A pleasure meeting you, Ice Emperor Hai BoDong"
I immediately released all my Dou Qi, which is currently sealed at Dou Spirit( Dou Ling) to pressurise him, however, he seemed unaffected. '"Who are you? What is your purpose?"
He replied with the same calm smile, unfazed "I have come to offer you a proposition."
(MC POV)
"I have come to offer you a proposition." I replied. Seeing that I was getting his attention I continued, "I will remove the seal placed on you, and in exchange I want you to accept a position I offer to you in the future."
He snorted and replied, "You want my eternal allegiance for a pill? Keep dreaming!" I could see that his pride as a Dou Emperor had been hurt, however, he seemed to be conflicted while saying this. Probably due to the fact that he knew nothing about me and I was quite unusual and the offer was tempting.
"No need to get worked up. Listen to the whole proposal." I said, and looked at him wait for me to continue, I did so, "It is more of an honorary position if you will. You will not be involved in conflicts for gaining power, all you will need to do is to respond summons in situations which are extremely severe. You will be like the honorary elder of the sect. "
Hai BoDong looked really surprised, his eyes widened briefly, however, he snorted and said, "Hmph, first I have to check if you have the ability to perform these tasks."
He probably did so to figure out my strength and objectives as my deal looked too good to be true. For me killing him in this battle? He knew I wouldn't do so, as I needed him if I was willing to offer such good conditions to him. Also, he would not believe that a 15-16 year old young man, would be able to beat him, probably his confidence as a former Dou Emperor.
I planned on completing this battle quickly to complete my objectives as soon as I can.
Thus, started the battle between me and Hai BoDong.
