Chapter 6: Raynare. First Fight.
"I'm a Fallen Angel though? Will it work still?"
"Anyone can become an Astral Sorcerer as long as they can gain Astral Energy and knowledge. Fortunately ,I've advanced enough to make my knowledge transferrable and it should give you a sliver of Astral energy ,which will unlock your main Astral Energy Pool."
I create some paper with my energy as I grab an aquamarine. I merge 4 pieces of paper with the aquamarine in order to make Parchment ,I create some black dye with my energy. I make some starmetal ingots and grind them to dust on the grindstone. I steal a feather from Mittelt ,cause I'm too lazy to spend energy on one. I put all of it on the Altar and make a Scroll Of Written Expertise. It's blank right now because I need to fill it with knowledge. I put it to my forehead as it copies all my knowledge about Astral Sorcery and it takes 1% of my energy. The scroll is filled and I hand it over to Mittelt.
"Seriously? I just need to put this to my forehead and I can become an Astral Sorcerer? It can't be that easy. Can it?"
"Seriously. It is that easy. It's not hard to become an Astral Sorcerer. What is hard ,is walking on the path of an Astral Sorcerer."
After doing all that ,I make a resonating wand for her as she doesn't have enough energy to make her own. This will also help her use less energy when crafting. It does the same for me. After it became night ,I mapped more constellations and attuned myself to the Armara constellation. I learned the Tough Skin perk ,which reduces 10% damage to myself. 80% of the reduced damage is turned into perk XP.
"Your energy is like ,a step away from being at the level of an 8 Winged Angel."
After a while of creating stuff and using my energy to train ,I went to sleep and Mittelt left. I woke up the next morning and as soon as I walked out ,I saw 4 Fallen Angels. One of them is Mittelt and I don't recognize the other three.
"I can already guess why your here."
"Is that so? Well I'll tell you anyways. Surrender and work for me or die."
Hah~..... Really. Of course. I don't feel any kind of threat from these other 3 fallen angels at all.
"Listen. I believe you all are weaker than me ,so I'll give you a choice. Leave me alone ,or die."
I see Mittelt smirk ,knowing how powerful I am compared to these 3. I don't even need her reassurance to know ,I'm stronger than them.
"Even if you have some weird energy ,if you can't use it then it's useless."
They're kinda right ,but wrong. I've attuned myself. My energy is strengthening my body in the direction of my constellation. This has been happening ever since I attuned myself. I'm now tougher and I can take more damage than before.
"I wouldn't be so sure of yourself. This is your first encounter with me ,you don't even know all my abilities. If I were you ,I would retreat."
"I don't believe that you're not bluffing."
She got mad and rushed me. A light spear appeared in her hands as she threw one at me to test the waters. I let it hit me and I'm disappointed. It poked a little hole in my skin and tiny stream of blood flowed out. Miniscule. Like a paper cut. She frowned. That wasn't her full power ,but it was about 75%. Even that is a problem. She decided to go full on immediately. She created 4 light spears in the air and threw em' my way. I dodged 2 and the other 2 hit me. I had a light cut on my arm and leg. I'm sort of getting used to this whole fighting thing. I notice that my perk XP was already at 75%. Just 1 attack was 25% of my XP. I have to keep this fight going as long as possible.
