I just keep my eyes closed not wanting to know who it was.
"Oh my god! Max I'm so sorry!"
Max? They know me? It can't be my brother. Who is it? As I open my eyes my mouth drops open. It's Carmen! My brothers annoying flirty friend! I push Carmen off of me and get up. I reach out my hand but Carmen just sits there looking at me.
"Are you gonna take my hand or not? I don't have all day!"
Carmen looks at me then at my hand then back up at me. She takes my hand and pulls me back down onto her lap. We just sit there until we hear a camera click. We shoot our heads to see what made the sound. It's Ryan and Jake laughing.
"WHAT THE FUCK GUYS!?!"
"Sorry did we interrupt your make out session?" Ryan says with a teasing expression. The expression that I hate.
"Yes you did actually. I was about to make my move!" Carmen says holding onto my waist. I hit her arms away and stand up. I look at Carmen she has this giant grin on her face as if we actually did kiss.
"Cya later cutie."
I just ignore the sentence and go to my class. I have media art first with Camron so he'll be worrying about me. I walk into a quiet classroom they were working.
"Maxine where were you?"
"Sorry miss. I ran into a situation."
"It's ok. Just make sure your on time next class."
"Yes"
I sit down next to my brother and pull out my supplies. Our current project is making an album cover.
"Pssst Max."
"What?"
"I'm bored."
"Sounds like a you problem"
"Maaaaaaaaxxx"
At this point I'm just trying to ignore my idiotic brother. Suddenly we hear out teacher.
"Ms, and Mr, Evans! Do you have something to say?"
"No miss" I say glaring at my brother.
"Mr, Evans?"
"Uhhhh… arts boring?"
"MR, EVANS!…"
She continues scolding my brother. I let my elbows rest on the table and cover my face. All I can think is kill me now.
