Chapter 4: Turning four
After 3 years from her birth, the baby developed into a cute blond child. The memories of her past self slowly returned in the form of her dreams as promised by the Death God. Adya remembers every detail except the people in her past life. The previous life knowledge and her current life did create some adjusting issues but her forgetting her own name and all the people she once knew, there was no major problem. However, It did make her grow her knowledge beyond her 3-year self and quite mature for her age.

*A week before fourth birthday*

A Fletchling was pecking in a window near which a child was sleeping in her bed. That child groggily woke up but was still lying in the bed thinking.
Adya ' It's been weeks and it seems that the prophetic dreams have stopped. Maybe what I thought of prophetic dreams are the experiences of the past life. I am not 100 % sure. The plot of games and anime depicting my world is not wrong per se but does not show much other than the people important for the story. Cities are bigger in real life and not with just 5 or 6 households. From what I can tell characters depicted in the games and the anime had them represent with their most dominant personality. Prof.Oak is known to be forgetful even in this world just not on the scale of forgetting his grandson's name. Maybe it was for the plot of the game. And most importantly there is much much more than what is shown in the games and anime. Like the three major academies, or be able to go on journies except not before the age of 15 passing from one of the 3 major academies.
As a bonus, I would say I gained knowledge in the concepts from basic arithmetic to calculus, from the 3 states of matter to organic and inorganic compounds, and from land and sea breeze concepts to effects of force and motion on the matter. I don't know how it will help me in my journey as a pokemon trainer except if I go in the researching line or go to in the sector of technology. I have also knowledge about the three different martial arts and since I only need my body to adjust to the required flexibility so I will seriously practice age 5.
After waiting this week, I can finally meet Dad's and Mom's pokemon and go outside to play. I have seen Pidgey, Starly, and Fletchling flying in flocks and I would want a Fletchling for my team. As of my knowledge, Talonflame is a threatening sweeper and revenge killer for offensive teams thanks to its great speed, excellent offensive typing in Fire/Flying, and its ability Gale Wings, and the boosting move Swords Dance. Its typing allows it to hit most opponents for neutral damage and grants it key resistances to Fire, Fighting, and Fairy-type attacks as well as an immunity to the common Ground-type. I can just maybe befriend one outside my house. I have seen Buterfree and Vivillion flying around sometimes. So, the forest near our village must have Caterpie and Scatterbug. Oh my, the choices. Our village falls in the Coastal Kalos Region, so maybe our village falls in the migration route of these flying pokemon. Come to think of it, with these many bird pokemon how thus the bug pokemon survives here. Once I am able, I must visit the forest.
Pachirisu and Emolga are common sitting here in our village. A family of Pachirisu has made the tree in our backyard their home. From the window of my room, I can see in the fields Tauros and Miltank grazing grass. Mareep is also reared in our village for its wool. And if you go towards the coasts, you will see a group of Slowpoke and Slowbro just chilling there. I think papa caught his Slowbro there. Also, Wingull and Pelipper flocks always annoy the fishermen when they go out into the Ocean.
The most epic thing I heard from my Mom is that there is a group of Eevees being seen in the forest. I want to be a trainer of every known Eeveelution. A pair of Absol is also seen in that area. Absol and Eevee are extremely smart and I want to befriend them. It will be retarded to catch every pokemon that comes in front of you. Unlike games, there is no 6 pokemon rule, you would be given a PC storage system where like a Pokeball you can store your pokemon. It is a small space artificially built in the image of a biome. All PCs have storage of 20 boxes and each box can store several numbers of pokemon. Even if they are in the PC you need to feed them and let them play outside. Like anime or games, there is no professor to take care of them. Now that I think about it, how can a single Professor or even a single research center cater to all the trainers of that region? Some pokemon are extremely territorial. Therefore blindly catching every pokemon is a no-go. You must be pretty loaded to take care of an entire Pokedex worth of pokemon. Also to catch a pokemon only to release somedays later will harm the pokemon if it grows attached to its trainer. Some smart pokemon will stop trusting humans and sometimes even target their trainers. If you want to release a pokemon one has to make sure they release it where they are caught or in a Pokemon park. Otherwise, Officer Jenny will have a private talk with you.
So, I have to be careful as I never release my pokemon. Come on, it is hard to release them in the wild after you gave them pet names and spend time with them. If I choose one of the Kalos League-sanctioned preschools then I could be a trainer for a pokemon in the baby stage or adolescent stage. The lifecycle of a pokemon can be divided into the baby stage, growth stage, adolescent stage, mature stage, adult stage, and old stage. I hope me and my first pokemon have wonderful chemistry.'
Julia "Adya wake up. It's 8 am already."
Adya "I am up Mom."
Julia "Go brush your teeth and freshen up yourself."
Adya "I'm on it."
Adya brushes her teeth and had a quick bath before coming down.
Adya "Mom, what's up for today's breakfast?"
Julia "Toast, Moomoo milk, and fruits salad. Now, hurry up. We will be late to open the shop."
Adya "Ok Mom."
As Adya finishes her breakfast, Julia does her dishes and prepares to leave for Shalour city.
Adya "Mom, let's go. I am ready."
Julia "Ok, hold my hand, dear."
The pair of mother and daughter leaves together for the boutique shop. Adya greets the villagers she meets on her way. Being the only child in the 40 families living in the village, Adya is doted on by every villager.
Like this, as usual, the days go on until her birthday arrives.

21st May, Adya's Birthday

Adya 'Yes, finally four year old. I can play with Dad's Slowbro, Mom's Floette, and their other pokemon. Till now they had not told me about other members of their pokemon team. Mom's Floette is such a sweet pokemon, she helps Mom in maintaining the boutique. Ah, I need one in my team. This birthday will be great.'
Adya freshens up herself and goes to meet her Mom and Dad.
"Mom and Dad Good Morning!!!" Adya runs to the living room/lounge.
Haden "Good Morning sweety and Happy Birthday." Haden gives his present first to his daughter while hugging her.
Adya "Thank You so much, Dad. You took some time off work for my birthday."
Haden "No problem sweety, just open my present and see for yourself."
Adya opens her present and sees a Box with words reading Poketech. She opens the box and sees a smartwatch.
Haden "I am giving you a poketech for your birthday. With this, you can call me even when I am at work. Also, it may come in handy in case of emergency."
Adya inspects the red poketech and then wears it in her left hand with a wide grin on her face. She then hugs her Dad and says in sweet words "Thank You again, Dad."
Julia "Dear, will you not take my present for you."
Adya "Of course Mom, do you even have to ask."
Julia "Here, take this pendant."
The Pendant Julia gave to Adya was in the shape of the arc present in the back of Arceus.
Julia "This pendant I once unearthed from some ruins. During my research, I met an old man in Sinnoh Region who said that this pendant will protect its owner and will bring great luck to them."
Adya "Thanks, Mom. I will cherish it. "
The Family of three gives a group hug and it misses their attention that some sparks come out of the poketech.
