Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Steel and mech
" Jason , you will be treating me for lunch today , you know , hundred point is too much for you alone , you need to share it with your friends " James walked up to Jason, after Mrs Hedley left the classroom and the other student also left the classroom as well .
" ok , I will be heading to the dorm for now it almost eleven , when it is noon we can go to the canteen together " Jason answered.
Both of them walked together to Their dorm - on their way walking to the room , Jason saw mark and three other guys , they were standing on the left side of the dorm building .
When mark finished talking to his friends , he saw Jason and James walking to the elevator , he muttered something to the ears of his friends , all of them turned to the direction he of Jason, giving him a disgusting and unfriendly look .
' I guess I will be leveling up , anytime from now , I better not let James know about , what is going to happen, or else I won't get to level up ' he thought.
Only Jason could see the look of the boys , James wasn't looking at their direction , he was looking at a girl and a boy walking together .
" hey Jason , look over there , that guy is indeed very lucky to have a pretty girl walking hand in hand with him " James said when he removed his eyes from them .
" yes , handsome guys always have pretty girls as their girlfriend , it is no big deal " he answered .
" I know you still have a crush on Shania , and that b*stard won't let it happen , one day someone is going to kick his butt "
' I wish I could tell you that I kicked his ass , but I can't ,, sigh,, '
" I Wish so as well , someone has put him in his place , and I guess that will happen this afternoon , if sergeant Steven will be the one teaching us "
" hey don't you have any interest in it , aren't you going to participate , it is going to be fun , especially that dude with crimson hair , he happens to be the strongest among everyone in the class " James replied .
they discussed till they got to the elevator , in other for Jason to hide any suspicions from anyone in class , he told James that he was going to exercise and train very well before noon.
' I guess I have nothing to lose ,as well if I can defeat everyone , I will get to level as much as I like , and I am also going to collect the prize , that is too good , and maybe gain some recognition among the other classmates ' he thought , while he walked to his room .
Getting to his room , he thought of reading for the combat practice , he realised that there's no test book attached to combat practice .
So he started reading about "steel and mech " .

" hey Jason , open up "
" I am coming "
before going to open the door for James , he looked at the watch it was already 3 minutes pass twelve .
' sigh,, James will never Change , always eating ' he thought before opening the door .
" I almost forgot that I was treating you for lunch , as you can see.." stretched his hands in a way of exercising ".. I have been training really hard , no one is going to defeat me " Jason said .
" c'mon man, let head to the canteen now , you can train later , for now canteen, later training , understood? "
" yes , let's get going " both of them walked to the elevator together .
while they walked to the canteen , other student were also opening their doors , heading to the same direction .
When they got to the canteen , they saw emerald and Tracy already eating , James and Jason waved at them , before heading to the vending machine .
" you know it will be bad if you treat only me for lunch , you can as well get a drink for the girls , I know their favourite drink and it cost 7 points each " James said .
" I was about to ask the same thing , you can order their favourite drink , while I pay for it "
both of them bought their meals and also two cups of strawberry yogurt , they walk to the direction of the girls .
" you know Jason , emerald is the prettiest girl in school , other guys may become jealous when they see us getting along with each other " James whispered .
" they can be jealous for all I care , we are just friends and how can two guys date a girl at the same Time? "
" don't be a jerk , Tracy is also seating with us, they will think that one of them is your girlfriend and the other is mine "
" don't worry they can't harm us because of them , beside I haven't seen emerald with any guy , maybe she is still single and doesn't want to have a boyfriend "
" you've changed a lot , how come you are so sure and bold , I know you to be a genius and a fearful guy back then, when did you rule out the fearful character of yours? "
" enough training and eating good food three times in a day " he answered jokingly
" do you mind if we seat here " On getting the table , Jason asked if he could seat.
" sigh,, we are friends Jason,stop acting like a stranger, yes you can have your seats " emerald answered .
Tracy only smiled at the boys and continued with her meal - when they sat down , James pinched the leg of Jason telling him to give the girls the drink .
" no you do it , you know I can't " Jason whispered .
"hehe , Jason asked me to give this To you girls , he would have treated you guys for lunch ,but he found out you guys were already eating , so he bought you these " James said as he hand over the cups of yogurt to the girls .
" oh , I remember , Mrs Hedley gave you the points , James once told me that you were a genius back in your previous school , now I believed it , you are a true genius , Anyway thanks for the drinks it is actually my favorite " emerald said , with a sweet smile on her face , that made her more beautiful than she was .
" thank you for the drink " Tracy also thanked him , they continued eating till it was time for Combat Practice.
" I have something to tell you girls , Jason has been training really hard , he said he would be participating in the duel " James being a talkative told the girls about what jason has been doing recently .
Emerald and Tracy smiled and continued walking to the class , because it is almost time .
