Chapter 31: Chapter 31 - Parting ways and Furious Giovanni.
It was finally time to say goodbye. During this 2 days, Lucario has taught them everything he knew about Aura. Itsuki, Cynthia is extremely grateful to Lucario for teaching them about Aura.
[Itsuki and Cynthia, you both have tremendous potential so don't stop training. One day you two will reach a new height especially Itsuki. Promise me, that you two will never abuse your powers to bully the innocent.]
"We promise."

Lucario then turned to Zeraora who stood beside Itsuki. [Itsuki and Zera, please take care of my grandson.]
Zeraora! [He is my little brother and I will protect him.]
"Don't worry, I will never mistreat or bully my own pokemon." Itsuki also assured him. Lucario nodded in satisfaction.

"You could come with me if you want. That why you don't have to separate from your grandson." Itsuki doesn't mind taking Lucario with him. Lucario is experienced and have knowledge about Aura, Lucario could help Itsuki and his pokemons during their training.

With a sad smile Lucario shook his head and said. [This place is my home. I might have failed to protect this place but I won't leave this place. I want to spend my remaining time in this place. Because staying here makes me feel closer to my loved ones.] Even though Itsuki had expected this answer, he still couldn't help but feel sympathy for Lucario. Itsuki also would be broken if something were to happen to his parents.

Lucario turned to Riolu who looked sad and was verge of crying. [Grandson, I love you but you have to go if you want to become stronger.] Lucario hugged Riolu and spoke.
"Don't worry, Riolu. We will visit your grandpa as often as we could." Itsuki's words assured little Riolu and calmed him.
Riolu and Lucario spend few minutes hugging each other and saying goodbye.

After hugging his grandson, Lucario looked at Itsuki. Itsuki understood the meaning and took out a pokeball. Itsuki lightly touched the pokeball on Riolu's head which caused his entire body to glow in red light and the red light was sucked inside the pokeball. When Riolu entered the pokeball, Lucario finally shed few tears. Itsuki understood the reason of Lucario being sad.

After awakening Aura, Itsuki could tell that Lucario didn't had much time left. He was reaching his limit. Lucario managed to live till this day because of his Aura which strengthened his body and increased his life expectancy.
The reason Lucario sent Riolu away is because he didn't wanted Riolu to feel alone after Lucario passed away. Lucario wanted to find someone who can take care of his grandson.

After what happened to his home, Lucario wouldn't have trusted any human but after seeing Itsuki and knowing the potential he had, Lucario decided to take a gamble. Fortunately, Finn and Cynthia was good human who loved their pokemons like their family. Finn was the perfect candidate. This is the reason why Lucario went to teach Finn and Cynthia about Aura. Lucario wanted Itsuki to become stronger so that his grandson could live his life in peace and comfort.

"Once again, thank you for everything." Itsuki bowed his head to Lucario which surprised him then later bought a smile on his sad face. This was the first time, Lucario had seen a human bowing to pokemon in gratitude. Following Itsuki, Cynthia and Zera also bowed their head and left.

Watching Itsuki, Cynthia and Zera leaving, Lucario closed his eyes and prayed to Pokemon God Arceus. "Oh Arceus, please don't let those organization find about Itsuki and Cynthia. Even though I have told them to not use their powers in public and hid their abilities, I am sure it won't be long before those people goes after Itsuki. I hope by that time, Itsuki, Cynthia, Zera and Riolu will able to get stronger."

After quietly walking for 1 km, Itsuki took out Articuno and called Zera to her pokeball. Both Itsuki and Cynthia sat on Articuno's back as Articuno flew above the clouds.
"Cynthia, what is your future plan?" Itsuki asked since now that they have got what he wanted, Itsuki wanted to know about her future plans. Itsuki was not going to dey it, traveling with Cynthia is really fun and enjoyable. But Itsuki doesn't want to force her to travel with him. Itsuki wanted Cynthia to follow her own plans.

"I only need one more badge to enter the Indigo League." Cynthia looked at Itsuki and then continued. "Itsuki, I am the type of person who likes pokemon battle. Whenever I fight, I became very excited. I never cared about Indigo League, the reason I want to enter the Indigo league is to fight others. Although I liked pokemon battle, I don't like training at all. But after meeting you and knowing that with your crazy team you are going to enter the Indigo league, I just don't want to sit still and do nothing."

"I know you also want to defeat me. We both are competing and want to know who is stronger. So I am going to use this 40 remaining days to train my pokemons and get my last badge. I know you will do the same. So for now I want to travel alone. I am planning on training my pokemons in a island filled with wild pokemons. I am sorry, I said that I will travel with you and help you with team rocket but I can't do it. "

Feeling Cynthia's determination and will, Itsuki smiled. "I am not going to stop you but I want you to be careful. The next time we will meet is going to be at Indigo league, I don't want to face a weak Cynthia. I want you to give your all. As for team rocket, they are too busy to care about me." Right now the Kanto Police should be searching for Team Rocket as I have revealed all the top Rocket agent names to the police including all corrupted officials.

Itsuki dropped Cynthia near a small town located near Rota. Cynthia said she wanted to train and travel at the same time. As for our Itsuki, he is going to the closest gym, which happens to be Saffron City gym leader Sabrina.
The Saffron Gym is based on Psychic-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Sabrina. Trainers who defeat her receive the Marsh Badge.

Giovanni angrily threw the glass on the ground which the glass to break into many pieces. "Who the hell is targeting my Team Rocket. How the hell did police get information about our Elite members? Someone must have betrayed me." Giovanni roared in anger. In all the years, Matori has never seen her boss so angry before.

"Matori, do whatever you want. I want to find the culprit. If the culprit is someone from Team Rocket then torture in the cruelest way possible." Giovanni took a deep breath to calm himself.
"Also tell all our Elite Rocket members to keep low profile for now. Throw something which will keep the police distracted for few months. Because in few months, I will have the strongest pokemon. Very Soon Team Rocket will rule Kanto region."

"Boss what should we do about the new rule which was passed by the Pokemon Peace Maintaining Authority [P.P.M.A in short.]. Because of their new rule, our revenue will greatly affected."
Giovanni rubbed his forehead in exhaustion. "There is nothing me or the team rocket could do about it. Currently out organization doesn't have enough power to against the P.PM.A. Let them be for now until I take over Kanto."

"One last problem, we still can't find Itsuki. The last time he was seen in Cinnabar Island, where he challenged Blaine and was able to defeat him without using Articuno."
Cold light flashed in Giovanni's eyes. "For now let Itsuki do whatever he wants. I will pay him back in few months and also I will take Articuno from him. I have a feeling that Itsuki and Articuno will came for revenge. Tell our spies and Rocket members to monitor over Itsuki for now. That's all, you may leave."
