Chapter 3: Chapter 3.

"You love me?" Bella asked sharply, of course, she couldn't believe it and it succeeded in making Adzriel smile.

"You are so beautiful and also kind. During this time, I have never met anyone kind and sincere to help me. Only you ...."

Bella was silent about it, then without answering she began to saddle her horse and ignored the man's words. How could a werewolf-like him who was a pure human? The world could be in an uproar about this and bad luck would befall him.

Realizing that Ad wasn't following her, Bella increased her saddle and sped her horse even faster towards the east. She had spent a week treating the man, the time was far from what her teacher said. Until she must find village residents before night.

The path began to appear in front of it, as well as some tomato and vegetable gardens. Bella smiled as she realized that she was getting closer to the village, so the stomping of her horse's hooves got faster as her cries grew more enthusiastic.

She had been riding for half a day since she had separated from Ad. Arriving at a wooden gate, Bella smiled broadly at the name of the village.

"Worked Village. Hmm, what a unique name." Bella muttered, then pulled the horse's saddle to slow its speed into the village area.

"I'm sorry, Miss. There are a lot of children here, it's better if the horse is guided." The gatekeeper said as he was just about to enter the village.

"Ah, well, Uncle. Thank you," she said, jumping down. "Is there an inn here?"

"There, over there. Miss just go straight, two hundred meters from this place there is a food stall and also an inn. Cheap and comfortable." The man answered, pointing in the direction.

"Okay, thanks, I'm sorry."

"You're welcome, please, Miss."

Stepping into the village, Bella walked while pulling her horse using the iron in her mouth. Luckily the horse was tame, as she recalled it was one of Grand Master Elgar's favorite horses and is now his mount.

"Bella...."

She stopped in her tracks when she heard a familiar voice. Turning to the left, he found Ad who was standing in a brown outfit and a hat made of woven bamboo.

"I was sure that you would follow in my footsteps," Bella said nonchalantly, again continuing her steps towards the direction the gatekeeper indicated.

"Yes, you smell very good. Left behind and I can smell well." He said, following in the footsteps of the beautiful girl who had saved his life.

The girl didn't answer, she looked at some of the children who were turning their sheep and goats into the barn. One or two some helped their mothers carry the clothes that had just been washed and some were helping some residents who were repairing their houses.

Arriving at the inn at the destination, Bella could see the place was quite crowded. He tied his horse with the help of Ad. Until their eyes met, he could see the lust in his bluish eyes.

"This werewolf has a passion for me. I have to be careful." Speaking in her heart, Bella challenged his eyes with a sharp look, until the lust in Ad's eyes dimmed and was replaced with a smile on his lips.

Bella turned her head and walked into the diner. She let the man follow him, even when she reached the table she was aiming for.

"What message, miss?" A young woman his age greeted him, causing Ad to look at him full of lust. He was bloodthirsty, he also used to increase strength and longevity by using the body of a young and beautiful woman as a sacrifice.

Bella noticed the gaze. She snapped his fingers with a strong mix of inner strength, making Ad flinch.

"What do you want to order?!" Bella said firmly, looking at him who immediately gulped.

"I should have hidden the nature of this beast. Come on, Adzriel. Don't make him hate you, he can kill you!" Ad clenched his jaw, trying to cool off his rising lust.

"I didn't eat anything, I was just accompanying you."

Bella stared intently into her bluish eyes, making her bow down as if she was subdued and scared.

"Bring me chicken, rice, and vegetables. Don't forget, I also want water," she said making the girl nodded.

Still had time to see Ad out of the corner of her eye. His handsomeness made him seem both amazed and envious. Envy because there is a beautiful girl with him.

"I wish I had gotten it first." She spoke, with slight coquettish movements.

"Hush! What's wrong with you?"

The young girl gasped in surprise when her mother caught sight of her action. "Nothing, ma'am. I just wanted to say that the table ordered chicken, rice, vegetables, and water. Let me bring this one."

Averting her mother's probing gaze, the girl stepped over to the customer's table and delivered the dishes to them.

"Stop staring at him, Ad!" Bella said sharply, making Ad gulp harshly and avert his eyes from the girl who was serving people.

"You have a crush on him, don't you? Please, don't get me into trouble because of you."

"That's why I survived, Bella." He looked at the girl's beautiful face which was starting to harden.

"Stop following me, if you want to get into trouble! If you knew you were this bad, maybe I wouldn't have helped you that day!"

The Ad took a breath. "You don't understand the customs of my people. I need it to increase my strength. I won't be able to resist the urge, I'll do it anyway because it's a werewolf instinct."

Arabella looked at his face sharply. "You're a-"

"I will not do that to you. You are my angel, my goddess, and also a girl who started to enter my heart. I will take care of you until we can be together."

Bella smiled lopsidedly. "We can never be together. You are a wolf, I am human. Just waiting for you to err, then I will be the turn of your rotten lust!"

Ad shook his head hard at that. "I won't do it with you. Truly, I swear by the God who cursed me!"

Bella paused, staring at his serious-looking face. She looked at the face of a middle-aged woman who was delivering their food. Taking a jug of water, Bella also helped him put the food on the table.

"Excuse me, ma'am. Are there still lodging rooms?" Bella asked politely, making the woman smile a little with a slight shake of the head.

"Coincidentally, it ran out, girl. But if you want, I still have room left. Usually, it is occupied by girls who also stop in this village. Would you like it? The price is the same, one gold piece per night."

Bella was silent for a moment, before finally nodding. "Yes, ma'am. I'll stay tonight, okay?"

"Sure, Girl. How's your friend?" The middle-aged woman turned to Ad. "There's no room left, if it's in the living room, would you like it?"

Bella shook her head to break the werewolf's intention. "He can sleep in the woods, Ma'am. No need to get inside the house."

"Ah, then just in front of it. There is a hut where the night watchman is. You can also gather with the residents."

Bella looked at Ad's face and said. "Let me take care of it. Thank you for the dish, ma'am."

"You're welcome, excuse me, Girl."

Bella nodded, then poured the water into a wooden cup. She drank while looking at Ad's face who was also looking at him. Until a smile appeared on his handsome and slightly pale face.

"If you intend to take care of me. Then, don't look for trouble in every village I visit. You understand?"

Ad nodded slowly. "I know you're jealous of me, right?"

A small smile appeared on Bella's lips. "Dream, long ago, there was never a human being married to a wolf. Do you understand? Never dream, and if you do, wake up from now on.
