Chapter 10: Identity and 3 Years Passing
Xian Yu and Yin Xiuying were even more shocked now, they didn't expect this to come so early. They were feeling nervous, they didn't know what to do, they had to explain it to their son when he was just 9 years old.
Xian Yu first spoke, "We really didn't want to tell you now, but it seems we have to, all you can know now is that we have a big background and we can't go back to them because of certain circumstances." He was explaining very vaguely.
Yin Xiuying spoke, "All that we can tell you is that Mom and Dad will protect you from anything if something happens." If anything happened to her son, she would be blood-thirsty and would kill them.
"If you want to know more, you need to be more strong, at least the 6th Cultivation Realm." Xian Yu said strictly.
'So the 6th Cultivation Realm, 5 more Realms." Xian Hei had made a goal inside his head, to reach the 6th Cultivation Realm. It would probably take him years, but he was determined to reach it. His parents were likely in higher Cultivation Stages, but he thought he would still be strong enough.
After that, the conversation was over, his mom did some sort of comforting and his dad had decided to train with him, harder than ever.

An older-looking Xian Hei one-shot a training dummy, in a blink of an eye, 3 years had passed, Xian Hei was now 12 years old, he looked a few years older though.
"Hei'er, you could use more power without hindering your footwork." It was Xian Yu, they were in a training session.
After knowing his identity, for the first week or two, it was a little awkward but they got over it and everything returned normally. Although, Xian Yu was constantly making the training harder. A reason why was mostly because Xian Hei reached the 3rd Realm, in fact, the peak of the 3rd realm, he could break through, but he was constantly trying to increase the quality of his Elemental Stars.
In the 2nd Realm, it took him 1 year to make 1 thousand peak quality Elemental Stars, it took him almost 2 years to make 9 thousand+ peak quality Elemental Stars, he made them at a way faster rate than before. It was fine to not break through now because most geniuses his age are at the same level or just broke through to the next Cultivation Realm, the Origin Realm, he was planning on breaking through in a few weeks because he would need to join an academy soon.
"That's enough for today!" Xian Yu said.
Xian Hei nodded, they then exited the training room, washed and then sat down. Xian Hei asked him a question. "Dad, what academies are there and which one am I going to?"
Xian Yu was surprised, he didn't expect him to ask now. "The Academies we want you to go to is one of the 5 Major Academies of the capital, Eternal Sage Academy, Azure Moon Academy, Scarlet Sun Academy, Starlight Academy and the Myriad Phoenix Academy."
"Ooh." XIan Hei was intrigued, he didn't know of them. "So which one will I be attending?" Xian Hei asked.
"Eternal Sage Academy is the one where you should go, first of all, it's one of the most powerful with an abundance of resources. Second of all, it is a good place with many geniuses and powerhouses came from, so it does a good job of nurturing people. Third of all, it has a strong grounding within the empire, so you will have high protection there. And last but not least, I went there too, so I know about it too well."
Xian Hei took a minute to digest this information but then was soon shocked that his father went there, "Dad you went there too? I'll go too then!" He said optimistically.
They then talked about the Academy after the conversation and his mother joined too, it was full of smiles and joy. He learned that they will move to the capital in a week and he'd attend the academy in a few weeks. He learned about the details of the academy too, and also filled him in on what to do and not to do, as they learned in the academy. Then they all went to eat and Xian Hei went to his room.
He talked to his master, Long Xiu. "Master, I only have around a thousand Elemental Stars left to make, It'll take a month at my current rate, I want to reach Origin Realm before going to the academy which is in a few weeks, can you teach me something to get more Elemental Stars but with high quality?"
Long Xiu replied, "Hmm, usually the case would be that you would have to sacrifice quality for quantity, but I'd say that's not a problem for the Dark Heaven Art, if you reach the second level, I guarantee you can make a thousand Elemental Stars in a week or even shorter if you're more dedicated."
"Perfect! This would also be a great opportunity for later stages." Xian Hei responded. If he could reach the second level, there would be immense benefits too.
After an hour of creating and refining Elemental Stars, he went to sleep, he knew it would be a long day tomorrow attempting to reach the second level. He had a nice sleep, feeling comfortable.
The next day, Xian Hei was already in the training room practicing, his daily routine at this point was to make Elemental Stars, Cultivate his physique and practice Swordsmanship, and of course, he does his usual routines with his family.
"Now Let me fill you in on the knowledge of the Second Level and how to attain it." Long Xiu said
Xian nodded, he was determined to achieve it, he thought that he had to reach the Origin Realm before entering the Academy, it would be the best for him.
