Synopsis

I think the story is well written. The translation is good as well. The flow of the story is okay for me. I wasn't confused or anything as to how that certain situation happened. The characters are hateful tho. Lol. The ex husband is dumb. He refused to defend the FL during the first few chapters and he didn't defend her after the divorce either (this is based on the first 20 chapters) . FLs' family was a hidden big shot from the capital and the ex husband didn't know. The FL also did not divulge that information. The Ex husband's family is so hateful. I really hope that he isn't the ML., it would be disappointing if he was. This is a good read. You guys should try it and let's all be frustrated together. Lol

The main character escapes from a physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive marriage. She is a Mary Sue who is the most beautiful, most rich, and most powerful person. She's an amazing CEO with amazing martial arts skills and an amazing hidden family. Originally, she says she married her ex for his looks, then says she fell in love with him when he massaged a twisted ankle once, then says they were drugged together so she took responsibility for his chastity. The translations are confusion and have some inconsistencies. There are also multiple instances of repeated rephrased paragraphs. The side-characters are even more flat and undeveloped than the MC herself, which is saying a lot. All of them are dumb and like to stir up fights for no reason. There is no love interest so far. However, there have been a couple of disgusting scenes with the ex that I suspect were suppose to somehow stir up sexual tension but failed dramatically. If she returns to her abusive ex, this series deserves an even lower rating than I gave it. This is a pretty standard story for abusive romances in Webnovel series. It really doesn't bring anything new to the table, and none of the characters are interesting either. The isn't much story development--instead, plot points just occur. The character design is Mary Sue + others, and the world background is unspecified. I guess it's modern? This series doesn't bring anything new or interesting out to show. This is one of the typical "quantity over quality" series Webnovel/Qidian is infamous for. I don't have a reason to recommend this series to anyone.

Readers, better to read "She becomes glamorous after the annulment", the ML there is cool. But this story the ML is coward jerk, he was easily manipulated by his grandfather, sister and sister-in-law, he always obeys and follow them like a puppy and his afraid to decide on his own. They easily make him believe what they say. He only fall in love with the FL because she became famous, if he really loved Shen he wouldn't let them get divorce and ignore, embarrassed, humiliate her in public just because his relatives slandered Shen.He is a worthless man and not suitable to the FL. But it's sad to say because in the end they will still be together. This story will be interesting if Lu Yan or she will end up with other man.
I like that the FL doesn't look back at the ex-husband after she divorced him and isn't a doormat. If he's the ML then I hope he really redeems himself for the way he treated her before but often times I find myself disappointed with how the FL ends up forgiving the scum ML. The ML's family is horrible, so even if ML manages to redeem himself, I would want the FL to have to marry back into that family๐ก

After reading the free 40 chapters, I decided to skip and read chapter 571 in advance. I am really disappointed because the ex husband is the ml and they already get back together. So I decided not to purchased the book.
I kept reading, hoping that the storyline and character development would get better. I read up to chapter 38, just leaving disappointed. I can't stand the FL's friend that keeps trying to set her up with every man with a D that pops up out of nowhere. And the idiot ex-husband who keeps popping up as well as his stupid gramps and sister. After divorce, they have no relations to the FL yet they keep trying to control and belittle her.
So-so. Same storyline and plot twists. Could be a good novel but the author really make a wrong choice. Why you let ex-husband to be ml? after long waited revenge, after what he has done to mc. Speaking honestly, mc deserves better
The author simply remove reviews that they do not like. The ML is the ex-husband. The female lead is plain stupid whos action does not match with the words she was saying. She never learns her lesson. While the Male lead is just plain disgusting person. Those who read stories like this are equally brain dead.
Donโt Read if you donโt like adults (FML and Friend probably more people also) acting like children and going for the obviously stupid options most of the time. Story is mostly idiotic. Probably Because I am American and since there culture is so different I see it as something stupid (no offense)
Don't bother to read this. All bloody drama. I can't believe she returned to her ex who lets her be emotionally tortured for three years. Author pulled out some bs. I hate everything about this novel. FL is stupid, emotional, brainless female, ML is a scum

oh my ! I thought the ex was not the ML ,but he is ! trash! I dont recommended stories like these , I actually started reading this novel after I saw some comments saying" ex is not the ML ",and I regret believing them, WHY๐ฅบ ! I just wanna read some novels where the EX lives his life in regret and i cant find such novels . Well I just wanna give you some heads up , if you like this novel ,dont be influenced by this (just a suggestion , ignore if you dont like it)
why is it that the MC is always portrayed as wanting nothing to do with her ex and yet she still talks to him and even accepted his offer to work together ain't that just a braindead plot
I hate this ml. As ml is ex husband. So i decided to stop reading this novel. No matter how good he becomes in future. He doesn't deserve her. He is only after her because of her real identity
The story is well written and the flow of the story .I love how the story has taken off till chap 20 , the ML is annoying and arrogant and the FL has kept her identity a secret till now . I m kind of attracted to stories like ex husband chasing his wife and how wife is faceslapping her husband. I hope it gets picked . If someone finds the raw plz share it too..
