Chapter 24: Child Of Beast And Void.
(This chapter is sort of cringy just to let you know.)
The knight dashed towards me, I raised my nail to block the attack. His fist ground against my nail, he jumped up and somersaulted in the air, and kicked my shoulder.
My shoulder armor breaks a bit but then the damage is increased causing all of my shoulder armor to break, it made me feel a burning pain in my shoulder. I forced myself not to scream, I punched the knight in the chest denting his armor while sending him away.
I was angered by him, I ran at my top speeds. He chuckled and began to run as well, I reeled my fist back and the knight's eyes widened in surprise. I punched the knight in the face.
His helmet broke and his skin peeled off of his face, like an orange. His head then popped, chunks of grey flesh fell onto the wet floor. The headless knight got on his knees and fell down lifeless.

I looked at my arm as the black substances began to dissipate 'Is this because of the Birthright? I need to train this ability I could already feel a bit of its power when I used it, and it could be very useful for me.', I thought as I began to focus to heal my injuries.
After healing I picked up my little princess and put her back into my skull, after doing that my body began to feel strange. I was feeling very tired and felt the need to rest, I looked at the roots and went underneath them while thinking 'Damn did I waste that much energy while fighting?'.
I then sat down and fell asleep, underneath the dark roots.

I was in an area where the sun brilliantly shone, I was above the very clouds and everything had a tint of golden on it. I was confused, wasn't I just sleeping the system proceeded to answer me.

'This reminds me of the place where you kill the dreamers, maybe I can find one here?' I thought as I began to look around. My search was fruitless, however, there were no dreamers here.
The sun was beginning to go down, and the stars started to fill the sky in its place. I watched the stars, but then the stars began to move they began to form a familiar face. It resembled Herrah's face but there were some abnormalities, like one of her eyes was higher than it was supposed to be.
Herrah: "My son, my connection to the Realm Of Dreams is weakening by the second. But this is the only way I could contact you"
Excursion: "Herrah? What happened?"
Herrah: "I am going to be a Dreamer son, I will be used to seal the Radiance an ancient god that has is a threat to all of Hollownest. I came here to warn you, the Pale King knows who you are and is coming for you."
Excursion: "Why do you have to be a dreamer!?"
I grew to like Herrah like an actual mother, sure she could not replace my real mother but I still loved her like she was my mom. So to hear that she was going to be sealed so soon broke my heart.
Herrah: "My son... I have no power in this decision, my fate has already been sealed. I am destined to seal the Radiance, I want to ask you a favor before I go."
She said as her voice broke midway through speaking, her eyes closed and she took a deep breath to calm down. 'It's all happening too quickly, I just got here a week ago... And I'm already losing people who I know.' I thought as I stared at Herrah.
Herrah: "Please raise your sister to be better than me, your sister's name is Hornet. Please I beg of you my son!"
Excursion: "...Of course I would raise her, it is the only thing I can do to repay you."
I said as Herrah disappeared from the sky with happiness in her eyes, I sat down on the floor. I put my hand on my head, I sat in silence after a bit of time I saw a little sparkle in front of me.
It was a thick string, it gently dropped down from the star-filled sky. It then landed in front of me, I picked up the string in my hand and put it on my palm. 'Eh? What's this?' I thought as I played around with the string.
'Maybe I should integrate it.' I thought as my left arm split apart and consumed the string then two notifications ringed in my ear.

When I read about my new bloodline, my blood began to boil within my body it made me scratch at my skin while screaming. It made me feel like people were stabbing me with poles and then heating them up inside of my flesh, my mind was in a frenzy with adrenaline pumping throughout my body.
I was spazzing on the floor while digging my fingers into my chest, I got on my knees and then began to hit my head.
Excursion: "DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP!!! FUCKING STOP IT FUCKING HURTS!!!!"
I said while banging my head on the floor, I almost passed out but then the process stopped. I was left on the ground panting, beads of sweat dropped onto the floor as if it was raining.
I tried to stand up but I found myself too weak to do so 'Why the FUCK did you not warn me about that system?' I thought, but the system did not answer.
A light then shone over me it was like heaven opened up and graced me with its light, my tiredness went away but the injuries caused by myself stayed.
[User has been graced by God's light, one of the perks of having Hell mode on. Energy is filled and strength is increased for a short amount of time.]
When I looked at the message my anger slightly dissipated, the message blinked out of existence, and then I found myself back in the real world.
I stood up and found myself to be taller than before, I was a little bit taller than the Pure Vessel. And for your information, I am about 7,7 I believe.
I touched my face one of my hands went into my eye hole, it was the same. I looked at the other but found it to be much bigger 'Wait don't tell me I got birth defects when I was undergoing metamorphosis!'
I ran to a puddle of water and luckily instead of a birth defect there was just a big hole in my head instead... 'Wait how did I get this?' I thought.

'Actually now when I look at it closely, I look very cool.' I thought as I poked around in my eyehole.
I then remembered my goal of being here and standing up, my cloak swayed behind my body due to the quick movement. 'Alright time to clear this dungeon! And then get to Hornet after I finish training' I thought
