Chapter 97: Wisdom and Progress

The group of undead moved through the deserted streets of the city, led by the man of light who was a few meters ahead of them. Marcus rode his skeletal tricorn. The ghouls and zombie wolves guarded his back and sides. 

Marcus concentrated on processing the visual information he was receiving from his reanimated insects which were a few blocks ahead. He had deliberately ordered his undead not to use their full speed to move. That way, the insects could stay ahead of the group and explore the surroundings for possible hidden dangers. But so far, there were no such dangers.
