Chapter 2: Two
The beautiful-looking girls then surrounded Zhou Yu and the others. Then everything seemed to be foggy. The fragrance used by that young women seemed to intoxicate them. The girls then approached with long cloths wagging in their hands. They then caressed the cheeks of the lulled men. Not a few who directly caressed the necks of these men.
Zhou Yu was silent as the two nearby girls did that. His head felt dizzy and dizzy. The man then realized that there was an anesthetic in every flick of the girl's cloth. He immediately closed his eyes and covered his nose.
"What are you doing?" he snapped in a loud voice.
"How dare you do this to officers like us!"
The girls immediately retreated with a voice of fear. Zhou Yu immediately resuscitated his comrades who were still under the anesthesia.
"Quick, cover your noses. They're trying to trick us!" order him. Everyone complied, even though their faces were still confused. The girls who were teasing them quickly walked away. Zhou Yu just let it go. He was sure the girls were just diversion of their plan to investigate that place. Immediately he looked around, looking for Mrs. Ma's whereabouts. But that middle age woman was nowhere to be seen.
Zhou Yu ordered his men to hurry. He, Zheng Wei, and the others go again to investigate the pavilion. Zhou Yu still trying to find Mrs. Ma. However, that woman seemed to just disappear.
A girl appeared in a place that resembled a performance stage. The girl danced beautifully following to the music which is playing with sitar. Her tiny body looks so lithe. She even repeatedly flipped perfectly. Not long after she threw a long white cloth to hook on the ceiling of the stage. She then made herself flying by holding on to the cloth.
The audience cheered and clapped. Zhou Yu and the others were also doing that. They seemed to be captivated by this beautiful girl. The girl then returned to dancing beautifully.
Zhou Yu was stunned when he realized he was alone in the pavilion room. The people around him disappeared. The place turned empty and spacious. The dancing girl suddenly appeared not far from him and came over. Immediately she wrapped her arms around Zhou Yu's neck and intended to kiss his lips. But another figure appeared behind that girl.
"Yu'er, wake up. You're trap by her!" exclaimed the old man with long beard and white hair.
"Teacher," Zhou Yu said weakly. The dancing girl touched Zhou Yu's face in an affectionate gesture. However, the Zhou Yu's teacher bluffed again firmly,
"Yu'er, come to your senses now or you will disappoint me!"
Zhou Yu gasped as if waking from a dream. He looked around. Everything is still as busy as before. The crowd clapped. The sound of the music is also quite loud. Seeing Zheng Wei and the others standing with their eyes closed and smiles forming on their faces. They seemed to have a sweet dream. He immediately patted and shook Zheng Wei's shoulder. His friend woke up and looked at Zhou Yu with a confused look on his face. He seemed to wake up and don't know why he in that place.
"Wake up the others!" Zhou Yu's orders. Zheng Wei who was still confused just nodded. He then wake up other officers who is standing with their eyes closed.
Zhou Yu himself immediately chased after the dancing girl who was leaving from there. The other girls just kept on dancing. They seemed to be blocking Zhou Yu's steps. That man immediately pushed the girls out of his way. He managed to follow the dancing girl's shadow into a pitch-black room."
The girl immediately pushed Zhou Yu towards the wall next to the door.
"Master, are you so interested in me that you keep chasing me?"
"You've killed people. I have to catch you now!" Zhou Yu hissed. The girl laughed mockingly.
"It all depends if you have afford to catch me."
Zhou Yu immediately grabbed the girl's wrist.
"I have caught you now."
There was a loud, mocking laugh.
"I'm not sure of that, sir."
The light of a few incandescent candles lit up. The room became bright and no one was there.
Zhou Yu looked around and found that the room was completely empty. He shook his head not understanding what was happening. What is clear in his mind that he is not dealing with ordinary criminals.
Zhou Yu was about to leave, but the door to the room was suddenly opened from the outside. A middle-aged man walked in while with embracing a girl. His face was red and there was a strong smell of wine. When he saw Zhou Yu, the man immediately blurted out in anger,
"What are you doing in this room? Do you want to steal my girl or steal my treasure?"
The man was about to attack Zhou Yu, but Zhou Yu nimbly dodged. The man who had been drunk heavily staggered and almost fell. The girl who was with him immediately helped and calmed him down. Zhou Yu apologized then rushed out. Outside, he still heard that man cursing.

"Zhou Yu Gege!" call a girl. It was morning when Zhou Yu came back from his routine work with the others.
The girl is very beauty, but her looks like an ordinary girl . Her hair was styled into a small bun at the top of her head. The make-up made the girl look so sweet and cute. The girl's name was Wan Xiao Ying. She is the daughter of the chief of the investigative force in charge of the palace. Since childhood, Zhou Yu and Xiao Ying have known each other. They always play together. If anyone was nosy with Xiao Ying, then Zhou Yu would fight for that girl's sake.
Xiao Ying immediately clung Zhou Yu's arm.
"You're here. What other trouble are you causing?"
"Trouble?" The girl's lips pursed in annoyance.
"Do you only see me as a troublemaker?"
Zhou Yu shook his head as he took a deep breath. The two then walked in side by side. The others looked on with small smiles. They expected Zhou Yu and Xiao Ying to be married soon. Xiao Ying clearly had feelings for their superior, while Zhou Yu probably had the same feelings. No one, including Zheng Wei knew about Zhou Yu's thoughts.
"Father!" Xiao Ying exclaimed while then hugging the middle-aged man who was reading a book.
"My dear daughter, you being here, must be causing more trouble at home," said Master Wan.
Xiao Ying's face pouted again.
"Why do you and Brother Zhou Yu always think I'm causing trouble when I come here?"
She then turned her back and looked at Zhou Yu and his father in turn.
"Tell me! Do you think I'm just a troublemaker?"
Master Wan chuckled as he put his arm around his daughter's shoulders.
"Alright, alright, don't be angry anymore!"
He then slipped the money into the hands of Xiao Ying.
"You go buy some sweets. Father wants to talk to Zhou Yu."
"Father, I am not a child. Why buy sweets? Besides, if I go, I will go with Zhou Yu's brother," Xiao Ying said as she rushed over and clung again in Zhou Yu's arm.
