Chapter 31: The Final Challenge
Finally, Dante heard the echoing that he had been waiting for since the beginning of the test.
''Congratulations! You have survived the Three Months!''
''As a reward each of you will be provided with a random item from my collections over the years.''
''In 10 hours, each of your cities will be forcibly transported to the center of the Plane. The war will continue until every castle is destroyed. However there is a fun twist! This time you will have to rely solely on your subordinates!''
''So within these 10 hours make sure you provide enough orders to your subordinates, as you will have no contact with them for the entire final battle!''
''But don't worry, this also means that you yourself are out of danger. Once the stele in your castle has been destroyed you will be forcibly removed from the plane.''
''Good Luck, and have fun.''

Followed by the voice explaining the rules a timer was constantly passed into Dantes mind.
Dante didn't hesitate and called all of the patriarchs in his entire city to convene in the center hall.
Dante sat on a large golden throne at the head of a large assembly hall. Kneeling infront of him were hundreds of humanoid figures with various different shaped bodies and builds.
Even now the hierarchal state was proven by the way that they kneeled to Dante, kneeling at the very front were the human heirs who Dante had transformed, followed closely by the LipFreed and Activator clans.
Following behind them were the quick to reproduce families like the Rabbit Clan.
But right at the back were small tribes looking similar to Orcs and Trolls from Earth. They lacked high intelligence and had reasonably low reproductive rates. Their talent was also very lacking, even if the people with the highest talents in their clans had reached Rank 6 a majority of the clan only had Rank 9 Physiques.
Fortunately, Dante had long since limited the intense fights and killing between the families. The only scenarios were contests between various resources that were found.
But once a BloodLine Family controlled the resource Dante prohibited the forcible grabbing of the resources.
Rather he created various arenas in different areas of the city where things like this could be solved. Two or More BloodLine Families would place a bet using whatever resource they are competing for and a resource of equal value, then they would each choose someone to compete for the family.
Dantes original plan was for Families to use their Heirs to compete for resources, however none of the races had a short enough growth cycle so that their heirs could already compete.
But there was plenty of time in the future. Dante already had an incredible lifespan let alone in the future so he wasn't worried that he lacked time.
''I have called you all here for the same reason.'' Dante spoke towards all of the Patriarchs.
''Soon we will be transported to a separate space, facing the rest of the contestants in this challenge. Naturally I am not worried that you cannot fight however you have to be careful. Everyone who can last this long is the best of the best.''
''So this time, any losses will be borne yourself. Your aims are to destroy the Steles in each of the opponents castles. Naturally any gains will be yours, including any captured troops and resources gained from the castles.''
''However I recommend you teaming up with other families to face the enemies.''
Dante quickly went through the rules and some plans for the battle. He didn't specifically tell the families what they should be doing in the test. This is also his test fot the current patriarchs.
He didn't worry that anyone could face his entire army. After all, each contestant cannot contact their subordinates during the final test. It is an extreme test of loyalty.
Even if the Subordinates remain loyal after the contestant goes out of contact, there is no easy way to keep the morale of the soldiers high.
But Dante didn't need to worry about this, his puppets are 100% loyal and follow the orders of their superiors. While they keep some of their emotions, they are after all puppets.
They don't care about life and death, as long as they can get benefits for Dante they are willing to do anything. Of course they aren't stupid, they won't run into battles in which they have no chance to win.
Many of the races are incredibly intelligent but lack strength. Not only are there intelligent Humans, but there is even the Bistred Clan.
As a demi-human clan they have the wickedness and resourcefulness of the humans. Their intelligence was also drastically increased by the strange beast they were combined with.
However their main clan has been extinct on the continent for many years. Only a few independent members are still spread out working in major clans.
But unlike the other clans that were slowly made extinct for low reproduction rates or low talents, the Bistred Clan was wiped out because of their intelligence.
Millions of years ago the Bistred Clan was considered to be an equal to the Armstrong Family.
However they made a big mistake. Using their high intelligence they decided to play a 'Chess Game' involving almost every clan in the continent… including the Armstrong Family.
What actually happened at that time, it was almost wiped from all the records. Even Dante wasn't qualified to know what had happened. However Dante did know that once their plan was released billions of cultivators swarmed towards the clan and it was eventually wiped out over hundreds of years.
That battle was even more bloody than the Battle Of The Ancients. Trillions of mortals and cultivators alike died.
The Families and Sects that were used in the sick game were naturally furious. They hunted down every possible member of the Bistred Clan. From the young to the old, they were murdered.
Even the other clans slightly related to them were eliminated.
But standing in front of Dante were those very same species. Surprisingly the Antique who owned the World Seed was alive during that ancient time.
However the Bistred Clan were low in numbers at the moment. So they sent out their members to work as military strategists in other BloodLine Families in trade for a percentage of the resources acquired from the battle.
