Chapter 7: More Pokémon and an evolution
Look, I know what I said alright. But you gotta understand how hard it is to fix this degenerate lifestyle. Besides is there really anything wrong with not waking up until 4pm?? I mean honestly what is there to do before then? It slowly gets hotter throughout the day, lots of other people are awake and don't even get me started on the damn sun.
Okay okay, ya those were just excuses to make me feel better, but maybe this will be praiseworthy. Like the night before in the Pokémon center I took these degenerate hours and put them into good use. We caught another 20 Pokémon and leveled a few up to 38. I'll only list out the Pokémon I kept which was 8 of them and then show you the current levels of the team.

The rest were sold for about 1-2 thousand a piece with a Pokémon's called a Sensu Oricorio going 8 thousand. I didn't really see the appeal, I mean it was beautiful Pokémon don't get me wrong but I would have never spent 8k on it.
This might sound like an absurd amount even the 1-2k profits, but honestly the beginning was just my own fault. I was severely underselling my Pokémon I put in the auction because I wasn't even activating the bid option. So the first few Pokémon I sold were immediately bought, but these were actually auctioned off.
I started the bid at 500 per Pokémon and they just kept going up and up until we're now here where I have 25,400 Pokécoins…. I honestly thought it had been a dream last night until I woke up and checked it again to see this astronomical number.
Now to use this wisely would be the smartest thing because you never know what could happen, but I'm also riding the high of gaining 25k Pokécoins in a single night.

Tapping Mamoswine on the back to get him to stop I immediately slide off while looking around for a spot to put my tent, but the trees were just too dense to pull it out her. One of the downsides to a huge tent I suppose.

"Staraptor, Mamoswine! I'm about to be put into a forced sleep for 8 hours. I'm gonna pull out a couple more Pokémon, but I need you all to protect me until I wake up."

They both nodded and Mamoswine tucked me into its body as best it could. Thankfully due to the faint coolness that Mamoswine's body puts off it wasn't too hot. I guess now would be a good time to show off the Pokémon I got to level 38 last night while I was becoming rich.

Yup quite the day for leveling up, so I think I'll bring out Tyrunt, Swampert, Charizard, Tsareena, and Scizor. That should be enough to protect me from whatever may come… I hope.

"See ya on the other side guys." I said with a smile to the Pokémon that were now huddled around me. All of them nodded seriously as blackness took hold of my vision.

[Beginning acquisition of Pokémon Comprehension.

(3rd POV)
Standing around a seemingly sleeping boy were 7 Pokémon that were observing the sleeping boy with keen eyes. The Pokémon Tsareena stepped forward and sat upon the ground, placing the boys head into her lap as she stroked his hair.
Mamoswine seemed ready to protest but when he saw the smile on his master's face he didn't do anything. He just took solace in the fact that he was keeping the boy cool with his icy body. The others were still staring at the boy when Staraptor spoke up.
"Mamoswine and Tsareena has master's comfort covered, so let's give him a surprise when he wakes up. I know you all don't get to see it often sense he's leveling you up in his system, but he works tirelessly throughout the night and even early morning to do so.
Tyrunt, you seem close to evolution, so I want you and Scizor to go together and take out any Pokémon you come across and evolve. I'm sure it will take some time, but it's no matter."
"Will do, Staraptor ma'am!" Tyrunt replied while trying to raise a hand to its head only to barely reach his jaw. Scizor nodded stoically and led the way for Tyrunt deep into the forest.
"And don't forget to bring back any interesting Pokémon you happen across, or new ones!" Staraptor called out to them and got a loud buzz from Scizor as a reply. He seemed to be the strong silent type, not that she cared either way. As long as they were doing their best for their master Jaron, she couldn't care how they acted.
Next though was Swampert and Charizard who were looking at each other challengingly and she could only shake her head. Why did master pit these 2 against each other like this?
"You 2! If your fighting disrupts master's sleep there's going to be pain for both of you from me, Tsareena and Mamoswine." Her words were agreed upon when the saw the bone chilling glares coming from the 3 Pokémon.
""Yes ma'am!"" They said simultaneously and decided to to take up positions around the area to protect their sleeping master. Staraptor just sighed and swooped on down to rest beside Tsareena who chuckled.
"You have quite the tiring job keeping those 2 in line." Staraptor just gave an unladylike snort and suck into herself as she close her eyes in contentment. Besides to glare at Charizard and Swampert, Tsareena hadn't taken her eyes off Jaron's head as she continued to stroke his hair and let off a small Aromatic Mist in the area that seemed to strengthen her nearby allies but also seemed to effect Jaron as his smile widened and all the tension in his body seemed to melt away.
And like that the Pokémon passed the time and it wasn't until late into the night that a triumphant roar was heard all throughout Viridian forest. This roar caused all the Pokémon and Pokémon trainers not aware to cower in fear and begin to spread rumors of a monster in Viridian forest.
The 6 other Pokémon that knew what was happening could only wryly shake their heads at their companion. Only one thing they didn't know is that Tyrunts aren't supposed to be able to evolve at night. So their master was going to be in tremendous shock when he saw not only a Tyrantrum, but a unique pitch black Tyrantrum.
His body had become a sleek and and shiny black and where the white spikes were supposed to be were now a deep purple flecked with bits of blue and yellow making it seem like a galaxy pattern. The eyes were a ghostly purple and seemed to glow in the night, the only thing that stayed was the golden "crown" of spikes on his head.

Sorry I can't draw or photoshop or I would totally post a pic of how I picture this "Midnight Tyrantrum" I got the inspiration for it when I found out you could only evolve Tyrunt during the day. So then I imagined a blacked out Tyrantrum and couldn't pass up the opportunity. And I know I know, So many Pokémon! But that's part of the fun imo.
