Chapter 2: Chapter 1
"Your Highness…" tumakbo ang isang dalagita sa damuhan ng matanaw niya ang isang ginoo, she's excited that after months of waiting for this summer vacation na gaya ng dati ay sa palasyo siya tumutuloy kasama ang Prinsepe. She is Athena, Daughter of Marquess Thenasos, the Houe Helium.
"My Lady…huwag po kayong tumakbo." Tawag ng mga maids niyang kasama niya ngunit she was too excited to meet the Prince. Hindi rin alintana ng Prinsepe ang mabilis na pagtakbo ng dalaga papunta sa kaniya na agad niyang sinalubong ng yakap.
"You should listen to your maids, silly!"
Bumungisngis lamang ang dalaga sa sinabi ng Prinsepe dahil alam niyang hindi naman magagalit sa kaniya ang Prinsepe dahil palagi niya 'tong sinasalubong ng yakap tuwing tumatakbo siya patungo sa kaniya.
"I miss you Blake." She whispered as her hug tightens, the Crown Prince laugh and embraced the little lady in his arms and whispered back the same words. Prince Blake, the first Prince of Emperor Drake, the Emperor of Maharlika Empire, Crown Prince was crown as the heir of the throne, not because he is the eldest but also because of intelligence and talents.
"Next year, you'll be going to Academy. Ugh…why am I born late?" Tumawa lamang si Blake sa reklamo nito, it is not first time that Athena complaint about her age samantalang dalawang taon lang naman ang pagitan nila. Ginulo niya ang buhok ng dalaga ngunit mas ngumuso ito, thinking that the prince treats her as a kid. It saddens her thinking that but on contrary, she can see that the Prince love her or she thoughts.
Prince Blake was indeed a bright and kind person, she treats everyone with kindness without him knowing that people around him tends to misunderstand his treatment, gaya na lamang ni Athena na buong akala niya ay siya ang fiancée ng Prinsepe dahil na rin sa mga sinasabi ng mga nasa paligid niya na siya ang nakatadhana sa prinsepe especially that the prince spoiled her.
"Wait me and don't be close to any girls. Hmp, kailangan ako lang ang prinsesa mo."
"Yes, yes, my little princess." She giggled after hearing that from the Crown Prince which convince her more that the Prince loves her. It was a delusion.
She never realizes that fact not until she turns thirteen to go to Academy kung saan nag-aaral ang Prinsepe but she knows and she notices the changes in Prince Blake attitude after spending two summer vacation since he started his schools at the Academy but then, she ignores this signs and continued to act cutely as she always do.
"You're not eight year old kid anymore but you still act…cutely." He smiled. If you heard it at first, it feels like a compliment but then when you understand why he said that, hindi 'yun papuri sa pagiging isip-bata ni Athena.
A noble lady is expected to act with dignity in every situation. Hindi maaaring maging isip-bata as what the commoner do, in other words you cannot act freely as a noble lady, you should know kung ano ang bawal. You shouldn't run except in hallway or sa kahit na anong lalo na kung may nakakita.
You're not allowed to laugh like a witch, laugh with modesty.
"Blakeyy…" Tawag ni Athena sa kaniya, bitbit ang isang magandang balita.
"Did something happen?" Tumawa ito saka binigay ang isang sulat na patunay na natanggap siya bilang bagong estudyante sa Academy, binasa niya 'yun ngunit makikita mo sa itsura niyang that part of him is not happy about it but he still manage to smile and congratulate Athena.
Athena is not a fool, in fact she only acts cute in front of His Highness dahil narin nga sa akala niyang sila rin ang magkakatuluyan baling araw lalo na't narinig niya ang Emperor noon habang kausap ang kaniyang lolo na nais nilang ang mga apo nila ang magkatuluyan but that is not official yet.
Noong una ay ayaw niya ang ideya na 'yun kaya mas naconvince siyang totoo ang narinig niya ng dalhin siya ng kaniyang ama sa palasyo para doon magbakasyon for the summer but her heart betrayed her the moment she saw the Crown Prince.
The Crown Prince has blond hair which perfectly matches his appearance. His blue eyes, thick rosy lips at ang tangkad na meron ang Prinsepe ang nagpakabog ng puso ng inosenteng bata. She fell in love the moment she saw the Crown Prince and she give thanks to the Emperor and her lolo for this arrangement.
But her innocent mind drag her own feet on her grave for believing that she is the fiancée but the conversation never said that she will be the Crown Princess, the Emperor only hopes that she will be chosen as the Crown Princess.
Her suspicion about the changes towards the Crown Prince to her has to do something when he entered the Academy and yes. The Crown Prince becomes indifferent towards her nang makapasok siya sa academy na para bang hindi sila nagkaroon ng masayang pagsasama. She became a stranger to him as if she is a virus na kailangan iwasan.
Naintindihan agad 'yun ni Athena lalo na't sinabihan na siya ng prinsepe na huwag siyang tatawagin sa kaniyang nickname dahil nakakahiya 'yun pero sinubukan niya paring magpapansin gaya ng dati na naging dahilan kung bakit maraming may ayaw na sa kaniya so to erase all the rumors about her being "malandi" and "ambisosya" mas ginalingan niya sa academics sa lahat ng larangan but then another rumour upraise, mas malala na nakikipag kompetensya sa rumoured "lover" ng prinsepe na si Celine.
Hanggang sa wala na siyang naging pakealam sa mga nangyayari sa kaniyang paligid at tumakbo bilang Royal Students Queen and she won. Sa pagkakataon na 'yun isang panibagong rumour na naman ang nangyari, nagsasabing "she only won because Lady Celine didn't run"
It was as if to ridicule her position as the Queen na nakuha niya lang dahil hindi sumali si Celine as if saying, she's no match for the Lady. Sa kahit na anong corner ng school ay makakarinig ka ng mga chismiss tungkol sa kaniya. Nasasaktan siya sa mga paratang na 'yun, doon niya napatunayan na hindi siya ang mahal ng Prinsepe at during those summer, the Crown Prince is juts considerate.
Despite the rumours about her, she did her best to work harder. Dahil na rin gusto niyang kahit papaano ay maging proud sa kaniya ang Crown Prince but that didn't happen at all.
