Chapter 6: Leaving
Jinx eventually walked out of the office with bloody hands and disappointment written all over her face. She looked down at her blood-splattered hands and went to the kitchen to wash them. She wanted to send a message just to make people nervous, but she might have gone too far this time.
Jinx also wanted to know if Haru had any other locations, such as a backup wearhouse or anything similar. She was mistaken; everything he owned was present. She didn't believe him at first for obvious reasons: if they were attacked, as happened two hours ago, where would they go?
Jinx would never have all of her people, money, and possessions in one place, unless it's inside her inventory. That's just asking for trouble. Obviously, if you are raided and escape alive, you will need to go somewhere else. Jinx was furious. She hoped to go raid those locations for more items.
"Well, there's no point in dwelling on the past." Jinx stated this despite the fact that the incident occurred ten minutes ago.
She washed away all of the blood on her hands, then waved them flinging the water off. She sighed as she walked back to the office. The doors were shut, and she kept them that way. She threw all the bags into her inventory and began to walk away, not wanting to stay any longer. Doing so would just be pointless.
She couldn't believe it when she saw Lila sprinting towards her at full speed. Unfortunately, the girl wasn't particularly quick. Jinx knew she'd have to change that later. Jinx wasn't going to put the girl through any hellish training because she wasn't even ten years old. Jinx might be able to teach her some mechanics layer on.
Lila came to a halt in front of her, panting heavily. "J-Jinx, people, o-outside, coming, here," says Lilia. She paused between each word looked at the floor
"How did they look?" Jinx asked, his gaze fixed on the girl.
"You said I should just come here if I s-saw someone!" Lila screamed, terrified.
"Relax, relax, relax. I just wanted to see if you were paying attention." Jinx watched Lila's calm down almost immediately. Jinx groans as she stretches her arms over her head. "All right, let's go." She walked into the basement with Lila in her arms.
"Where are we going?" Lila inquired, attempting to remain still so as not to upset Jinx. She couldn't if she tried, but the girl didn't realize it.
"Leaving, we're going to go look for a place to stay. I need a large amount of space as well." She approached a door and was greeted by a very long corridor. "We've arrived! Oh, dusty." Jinx waved her hand in front of her face.
The hallway was very dark; a normal human would have difficulty seeing, but Jinx wasn't normal. She didn't even need to be able to see to get around in there. It was simple, and not just because it was a straight hallway. All of her senses were extremely sharp to the point of being able to fight with were eyes closed with relative ease.
Jinx raised her head when she heard footsteps and shouting. She anticipated that they would arrive sooner. Even if it was just regular cops, they should have arrived a long time ago.
Jinx shook her head and stepped into the hall, closing the door behind her. It wouldn't matter if the cops got their fingerprints on anything. Jinx is a nobody in this town; no one even knows she exists. This probably isn't the same for Lilia but it still doesn't matter much.
"All right, let's get a place to live and then sell some drugs!" Jinx yelled, unconcerned about who heard her. She pulled out a grenade and threw it. "I'm hoping this is just collapsing the entrance to this place, or else all my hard work will be for naught."
*BOOM!*

"This will suffice." Jinx said while looking around a compound still within the 9th ward. The compound consisted of about nine different buildings, each of which was quite large. Each building was in a line, surrounded by concrete and surrounded by a gate. Behind all of the buildings was a grassy field.
Jinx thought it was pretty good, grated, and it was near the ward's edge but still within it. It was stationed near several apartment buildings. Jinx, on the other hand, was satisfied with the location. She nodded, it was pretty good. She could think of other better places but for being so short notice, it would do. Jinx could live in one of the buildings and do other things like make gaggits and so on.
The others can have quite a few uses, like make drugs, and make more drugs. She wants to start making as much money as soon as possible. Jinx yawned and looked at the girl in her arms, who was attempting to break free. Lila wanted to go exploring and see one of the houses, but Jinx was holding her back.
Jinx turned around and looked at a man behind her; she laughed and set Lila down, allowing the girl to run around. Lila bolted towards one of the buildings without waiting. Jinx looked at the shivering man on the floor once she was out of sight.
"So, what did you say again? You would let me have the place if I let you have "fun" with me? Something like that, right?!" Jinx sat in front of the fat man on the ground and yawned. "What should I do with you?"
She tapped her hands on the ground looki g at him. Jinx kinda needed him, but not really. If anything, she needed the compound. She could think of quite a few uses for him, if Jinx was being honest, she just wanted to go and sleep.
Jinx groaned and took out her gun. "No point in having you alive, I'll deal with all this bullshit later."
"W-Wait! Please, I can–"
"And I don't give a shit."
*BANG!*
'Now it's time to make some purple stuff."
