Connor was surprised by the last part of his werewolf friend's words. They visited the Everett family's vault every year on the anniversary of their death, so he wasn't surprised that Glen wanted to bring Eden this year. However, the werewolf had never expressed a desire to visit the grave of his biological mother, the late Luna of Red Creek, let alone on his birthday.

Most of the time, the alpha was too busy with his daily life to remember the day's date, and Connor, not wanting to poke a wound he knew was still painful, had never tried to push him. He had respected Glen's choice, even if it pained him that, year after year, the werewolf didn't want to acknowledge the day he was born.

Now that he knew that just a few words with the male omega had been enough to provoke this decision, he thought back to that infamous day when he drugged Glen to bring him to Eden. This crappy plan was the best he ever had.
