It wasn't the same one who had given him the piece of paper, but since he was wearing the red armband mentioned in the note, he easily guessed that he was part of the same group. However, the alpha was on his guard.

After so many knives planted in their backs by humans, he preferred not to blindly believe that his Kind had finally gained allies. His judgment would await the end of the battle. He looked at the circle of runes that had lost a bit of its blue glow.
