Hey everyone, mingapur here.
So once again I have some news. Decided to add them to the auxiliary chapters to not spam the main novel.

First off. Once again, thank you everyone for supporting me up to here!
Special thanks to Baltraseic for contributing that many power stones, even on days I'm not writing! And Ken_Meadows for staying with me for this long and reading so much!
Of course, my thanks goes to everyone who's been following Riva's strange tale!
I got this interesting author's summary for the year and wow! Seeing it made me super happy. Your support is what kept me going this far. Did you know we reached beyond 50k words already? This might not be much for full-time authors but it is quite the achievement for someone doing this as a hobby.

Well, now it's time for the bad news. The time of Corona's been tough on me and I need to put my effort into earning money. Sad to say, rent doesn't pay itself. And as much as it pains me, I will have to focus on my work life in the upcoming months.
I won't quit writing! No way! But I need to get my priorities straight, and having an income is sadly more important than writing for fun.
You might say, do it on the side. And yes, I tried. But my health has been declining. And me being sick helps no one.
Thus my heartbreaking decision to reduce my chapter release once again.
In the future, I will write just one chapter a week.
There, I said it!
Yeah, one chapter a week sucks!
For you, it might just be another low release rate novel that drowns in the massive flood of ever-increasing new releases. If you can't be bothered, go ahead and forget all about it. Maybe you'll come back someday to find a bunch of chapters to binge?
For me, I will continue to cherish this novel and write. If slowly. And I'm sure, I'll get to do more in the future! It's just a difficult time at the moment.
I'll write the chapters I owe for next week according to the previous schedule, so don't worry. And I will always appreciate any and all support.

Also since I won't be able to release this book for another WPC any time soon, I will likely start updating the chapters that I edited. I'll make sure to save the originals. I didn't get as far as I would've liked but it's a start! Too bad that none of the recent WPC themes fit. I'll continue to keep a lookout.
Anyways, since I will need to focus on my artist and games career (yup I'm an aspiring game dev. Those bugs aren't coming from nowhere), I'll hopefully find an opportunity to visualize something for the novel.
I'll add an auxiliary chapter where I'll post future pictures in the comments.
I also decided to add any longer author comments in the auxiliary chapters and just notify you in the latest chapter when there's something new, which also includes new pictures and the like.

Mingapur, the author here. I have some important news.
As you might be aware I was participating in the 224 WPC with my novel which it didn't win.
I wouldn't mind much if it wasn't for the extremely delayed vetting which is necessary for the novel to show up in any of the rankings including the contest. My novel was vetted after the contest period concluded, which was, to be frank, very frustrating!
I was facing the difficult question of how to continue with my writing. And after thinking it through I decided that I want to resubmit my novel to another WPC.
In the end, I will continue writing this novel as it is but at my own pace while reworking the already published chapters. I won't be updating them here but when I re-upload for the next fitting WPC, where I will be doing a mass release right at the beginning.
Since I know how annoying slow updates are I've decided to give you, the readers, an option to force me to write more XD.
Thus here my new weekly release chart (power stones (ps) are based on the previous weeks total):
