Esme's brows rose at the use of her goddess' name. She didn't know how the vampire knew she was Nyx. Sure, her appearance was the same besides the colouring of her freckles, and her hair was no longer like the inky night sky like in her past life, but Cassius had to have known she, as in 'Nyx, Goddess of night' had died. But that wasn't what struck her dumbfounded.

"How do you know my name?" She asked, watching him warily. If Cassius knew she was Nyx, it meant the vampire never lost his memories like Gabriel did. Which made her wonder how exactly the twin brothers came to earth.
