Chapter 43: Chapter 43: Moryo Strike Again Part 2

"Boruto," Mirai exclaimed, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

Boruto continued to grip the halberd blade, his smile unwavering as he looked at Mirai.

Realizing the situation, Mirai came to her own conclusion. "Ah, this must be what Hokage-sama meant," she thought to herself. It seemed that Boruto was on an undercover mission in the Land of Demons.

Sara struggled with all her might to retrieve her weapon, but Boruto's grip remained unyielding.

Turning towards Sara, Boruto spoke with a mix of disappointment and disbelief. "I can't believe you're doing this, Sara-san. You're not the kind-hearted Sara-san that I know."

"You don't understand anything," Sara retorted, releasing her hold on the halberd and attempting to rush towards Boruto to attack him.

However, Boruto swung the halberd, using the stick to strike her on the head. Sara held her head in pain, feeling humiliated as Boruto didn't take her seriously.

Meanwhile, Moryo, who had been observing the events through Sara's eyes, noticed the familiar sight of yellow hair. Determined, Moryo decided to personally go to the Land of Demons.

Konohamaru skillfully parried the serpentine strikes with his adamantine staff, his eyes keenly observing Ukiyo for any sign of weakness. He could see Ukiyo's energy waning with each passing moment.

"Die! Die! Die! Die!" Ukiyo roared, his hands sprouting more of the dark serpentine chakra as he launched a relentless onslaught towards Konohamaru.

Seizing the opportunity, Konohamaru weaved through the flurry of attacks, skillfully evading each strike. As two serpents lunged from either side, Konohamaru dropped into a slide, skimming underneath Ukiyo's legs.

Simultaneously, his hand began to form a Rasengan. As he slid past Ukiyo, he swiftly rose to his feet, thrusting the Rasengan towards Ukiyo. With a powerful surge of energy, the Rasengan connected, sending Ukiyo crashing to the ground in defeat.

"Mirai!" Konohamaru immediately turned his attention to the window, his gaze falling upon a massive serpentine figure looming ominously in the sky above the country.

Gritting his teeth in determination, Konohamaru sprinted towards the towering serpentine, ready to face the new threat head-on.

Moegi's voice echoed with determination as she summoned the power of wood style, commanding the very earth beneath her to rise and crush the relentless stone warriors. Each step she took sent shockwaves through the ground, causing the stone warriors to crumble beneath her might.

Udon, not one to be outdone, utilized his water style with precision. Manipulating the mucus-like substance that surrounded him, he formed a deadly spike that pierced through the stone warriors, reducing them to rubble.

But their efforts paled in comparison to the display of strength from the guard named Raido. With a swift and powerful swing of his Chakra Axe, he effortlessly cleaved through the stone warriors, leaving nothing but dust in his wake. His movements were a testament to his skill and experience, each strike executed with fluidity and precision.

As the dust settled, Moegi, Udon, and Raido turned their attention to the sky, their eyes widening in disbelief. A colossal serpentine creature loomed above them, its gaze fixated on the country below. The sheer magnitude of its presence sent shivers down their spines, a silent threat that demanded their attention.

"Fucking hell" Raido's frustration boiled over, his exasperated voice escaping in a frustrated curse. With a heavy sigh, he summoned an Arming sword into his left hand, the blade gleaming with a deadly aura.

Determined to protect the city at all costs, Raido launched himself into a relentless onslaught against the encroaching stone warriors. Each swing of his sword was a testament to his unwavering resolve, his strikes precise and calculated. He moved with a fluidity that seemed almost effortless, his movements a deadly dance as he dispatched one stone warrior after another.

The scene repeated itself throughout the various gates of the city, where a solitary Raido stood guard at each entrance. Each Raido displayed unwavering determination and focused resolve as they protected their assigned post.

"Moryo!" Shion exclaimed in shock as her eyes fell upon the colossal serpentine creature with its multitude of heads.

Boruto, catching sight of the immense dark serpent, interjected, "But before we deal with that, Samehada, it's time to rock!"

With a swift motion, the bracelet on Boruto's right hand transformed into a massive sword, which he confidently wielded in his grasp. He positioned the blade on his shoulder, emanating an air of readiness and determination.

"Sara-san, stand down," Boruto commanded, placing Samehada on her shoulder. The sentient sword immediately began to drain Moryo's chakra, its unique ability serving as a valuable asset in the battle.

"Done," Boruto declared, his voice laced with a hint of satisfaction.

Mirai's eyes widened in surprise as she witnessed Samehada now in Boruto's possession, its presence adding an unexpected twist to the unfolding events.

Without wasting a moment, Boruto swiftly performed the summoning jutsu, summoning Ryushin, the formidable dragon. It was evident that Ryushin had grown significantly since their last encounter, its formidable presence serving as a symbol of Boruto's growth and strength.

"Yo, Boruto, is it time?" Ryushin inquired, his gaze fixed upon the colossal serpentine creature hovering in the sky.

Boruto, mounting Ryushin's back, responded with a determined nod. "Yes, Ryushin. We have work to do."

Ryushin's powerful muscles flexed as he propelled himself into the air, soaring towards the sky. The people below, initially gripped by panic, found solace in the sight of a human riding atop the majestic dragon.

Konohamaru, who happened to be nearby, immediately recognized Boruto's distinctive yellow hair and Samehada. "Boruto!" he called out.

Boruto heard Konohamaru's voice and offered a confident smile. "Go berserk, Samehada. It's time for your lunch," he commanded, his voice brimming with authority.

Eagerly, Samehada emerged from its bandages, revealing its true form. The sentient sword quivered with excitement, its anticipation palpable, causing a grin to spread across Boruto's face.

"Prepare yourself, Ryushin," Boruto advised, his voice steady and resolute.

Ryushin, a formidable force of nature, acknowledged the command with unwavering loyalty.

"You, blonde-haired bastard," Moryo growled in his demonic voice.

Boruto, unfazed by the insult, responded with a confident smile, resting his sword casually on his shoulder. "That's my father you're fighting against, and I'm here to defend him," he declared.

"Then you shall die in his place," Moryo sneered as his multiple heads unleashed a powerful blast of purple fire, combining their forces into one devastating attack.

With unwavering determination, Boruto raised his sword towards the oncoming blast. "Eat it, Samehada," he commanded.

To everyone's astonishment, Samehada devoured the entire fire blast, leaving Moryo dumbfounded.

"Let's go, Ryushin," Boruto called out.

"Let's go, partner," Ryushin responded, soaring towards Moryo despite being slightly smaller in size.

Moryo, realizing the threat, conjured multiple sharp purple tendrils in an attempt to strike Boruto. However, Boruto swiftly slashed through the tendrils with his sword, while Ryushin unleashed a powerful water blast, obliterating the remaining tendrils.

The witnesses, in awe of Boruto's bravery, began to cheer. "A hero!" they exclaimed. "Our savior!" echoed others.

Meanwhile, Konohamaru felt a mixture of pride and concern for Boruto's safety.

As Ryushin approached Moryo, Boruto extended his sword while perched on the dragon's back. "Devour him!" he exclaimed.

Samehada obediently opened its mouth and consumed a portion of Moryo's body, causing the demon to recoil in pain. The agony was far greater than anything he had experienced from Naruto and Shion's combined Rasengan attack.

Moryo, desperate to eliminate Boruto, sprouted more tendrils in a frenzied attempt to strike. However, Ryushin expertly maneuvered around the tendrils, allowing Boruto to slice them away with precision.

As Ryushin soared towards Moryo, the terrified demon resorted to a cowardly move by launching fire blasts towards the city.

Boruto and Ryushin could only do so much to intercept and stop a few of the blasts. Unfortunately, the ones they missed struck other parts of the city, including a blast that scorched the park where Sara, Shion, and Mirai were located.

Sara, witnessing the destruction, turned to Boruto and said, "Whoever you are, you owe me for this." She had overheard Mirai referring to him as Boruto and concluded that he was in disguise.

Reacting swiftly, Sara carried Mirai and Shion away from the dangerous area.

Determined to put an end to the chaos, Boruto declared, "Let's finish this, you little shit."

Ryushin broke the sound barrier as he flew towards Moryo, with tendrils closing in on them.

Boruto unleashed his Water Release: Water Trumpet, while Ryushin unleashed a powerful water blast from his mouth, combining their attacks to destroy the tendrils.

Ryushin continued to push forward towards Moryo, who, seeing them approach, decided to retreat.

Seizing the opportunity, Boruto jumped off Ryushin's back, activating his EMS teleportation right above Moryo, allowing Samehada to devour one of the demon's many heads.

Moryo quickly shook them off, prompting Boruto to jump back down, with Ryushin catching him on his back.

"We just need to do this four or five more times, and we'll win," Boruto stated confidently.

Suddenly, a surge of immense chakra caught the attention of Moryo, Boruto, and Ryushin. Before Moryo could react, a massive Tailed Beast Bomb struck him directly, obliterating him into nothingness.

The force of the impact created a powerful gust of wind, nearly causing Boruto to lose his balance and fall off Ryushin's back. As the dust settled, the once dark sky transformed into a bright and beautiful sight.

Boruto and Ryushin exchanged deadpan expressions as they found themselves face-to-face with Chomei, the Seven-Tails. The majestic creature stared back at them, a silent presence in the aftermath of the battle.
