Chapter 14: THE DARK SIDE

A few days after accidentally eavesdropping on Ye Quan's phone conversation, he went to a bar with his high school friend.

It was the first time he visited a bar again after he officially joined the men's doubles team, so he was quite excited.

He bobbed his head up and down to the addictive beat of the song the DJ played as his hand grasped the martini.

The DJ was a sexy girl wearing a crop tee and a pair of hot pants. Her breasts were F-cup size, and her buttocks looked very round and firm. Her appearance just looked like the one in a hentai manga. Lin Zhu saw the female DJ look like Tsunade at a glance.

"That DJ is your type, right?"

His friend, who was sitting next to him, threw him a question that broke his reverie.

He reluctantly took his eyes off the sexy DJ and faced his old friend. "I just want to fuck her," he answered vulgarly to his friend's question.

Lin Zhu was not an innocent boy, he had a dark side. Even though he wasn't a playboy who would flirt with so many girls, he would move from bed to bed at least once a month. It had been more than two years since he dated a girl, but that didn't mean his little member had been away from the girls' tight holes in the last two years.

Lin Zhu hadn't dated any girls in the past two years, but he would still 'play' with some girls without involving feelings when he couldn't resist the desire.

However, it had been 3 months since the last time his 'junior' felt the warmth of the girls' delicious cave. He felt his member become itchy all of a sudden just because of the thought.

"Just go fuck her then. No one will hold you back."

His friend's name was Xu Liuming, and he was his best friend since high school. It could be said that he was Lin Zhu's only friend.

Lin Zhu was a social butterfly type, but he couldn't easily be friends with someone. He didn't have a trust issue or something, but he just didn't feel the need to be friends with many people.

That was why he only had Xu Liuming as his friend. The equally short man was not only the place for him to tell all his life story, but his friend was also the one who would accompany him when he wanted to visit some dark places like this bar.

Lin Zhu was an athlete who needed to maintain his fitness, so he didn't smoke or consume too much alcohol. At most, he would only visit the bar once a month to drink some martinis and also to find some girls who would warm his bed.

His wild behavior was not a secret, and even the management team knew about it. They didn't say anything about it, though. They didn't care about the athletes' privacy as long as the athletes could maintain their performances on the court.

The only parties that didn't know about his bitchy attitude were his parents. In his parents' eyes, Lin Zhu was an innocent boy who didn't even know how to date a girl.

His brother knew about his dark side, but he didn't say anything and didn't even report his behavior to their parents. Sometimes Lin Zhu wanted to kiss his brother's feet for his understanding attitude.

Lin Zhu's true self was no better than Ye Quan, but he still dared to hate the older athlete for being a playboy. Lin Zhu assumed that he was still better than Ye Quan because he didn't play with girls' hearts. He was just toying with the girls' bodies, and it was tolerable for him.

The young athlete could freely satisfy his needs in the bar because no one would stop him, but he couldn't do that now because he couldn't maintain his performance on the court. The management team wouldn't let him do as he pleased because of that matter.

"I can't do it right now," the athlete finally replied. "I have to focus on the tournament, so I don't want to play with the girls too much."

Xu Liuming raised an eyebrow as he cast a strange look at his friend. "I think you have become more serious about your career now that you have joined the men's doubles team. As far as I can remember, you were not this serious when you were in the men's singles team."

He had told his best friend about the circumstance, so his best friend had known the whole story about the tragic fate he experienced nearly two weeks ago.

His best friend's words were not wrong. When he was still on the men's singles team, he had never thought about restraining his wild behavior. When he wanted to drink, then he would drink. When he wanted to fuck a girl, then he would fuck the girl.

No one could hold him back in the past, but now it was his conscience that held him back.

"I don't want to be kicked twice. I want to make my dream come true this time," the athlete replied before sipping his martini.

Xu Liuming gave him a look full of amusement. "It's not even two weeks since you joined the men's doubles team, but you already changed a lot, Ah Zhu. Can I say that I'm proud of you?"

Lin Zhu just rolled his eyes upon hearing his friend's tease.

His best friend chuckled for a moment before shifting his gaze away from the athlete. "I think this will be the last time I accompany you in a place like this, Ah Zhu."

The martini in the athlete's hand almost fell after hearing the unexpected statement from his best friend's lips.

"What?" He asked in disbelief. "You won't accompany me to this place again? Are you going somewhere?"

Xu Liuming finally looked at him again, and Lin Zhu was surprised to see his friends' eyes suddenly shining so brightly.

"I got a girlfriend a few days ago, and I want to change myself for her."

And Lin Zhu almost dropped his jaw upon hearing his friend's confession.
