Chapter 156: An ability I would never absorb

---Ten minutes later---

"MMMMHHHH! MMMMH!!!!" John had his mouth covered with a sock and tied to a chair in the corner of the room. I looked at my artwork in satisfaction and turned to see Percival sporting an equally content smile on his face.

"We wouldn't want to ruin your image by having you be around us. So, we are keeping you here for the day. you should be thanking us, we're doing you a favour," Percival said with a grin.

Then the sound of the door opening could be heard behind us as Robert, Fred and two other boys came in. this made seven. There seemed to be 3 who left early, or the beds were vacant.

Robert instantly frowned when he saw John struggling in his ropes with a look of dread on his face. Fred on the other hand was apathetic to the situation, but I clearly saw a spark of amusement in his eyes which I found most interesting.

"What happened here?" Robert asked sternly.

Percival chuckled and explained the situation to him. Robert frowned even harder at the end and looked at us reproachfully.

"You do know that if he misses the first day of classes, he will get detention for a week with Brambleton, right?"

I didn't actually know that, but I then looked at John with an evil smirk, who knew there would be such a good punishment? Percival didn't seem to care either and simply shrugged.

Robert massaged his forehead for a moment before walking forward to release John from his restraints.

"You better not stop me, or I'll tell the professors who the culprits behind this were," he warned and untied John. I was just about to stop him too but froze at his statement, I then remembered the words of Professor Brambleton. 'No trouble making'.

"Fuck." I cursed in a low voice when I saw John being released.

"Hmph! You barbaric people. This is no way to treat my esteemed self. Not only have you ruined my hair, but you also attempted to get me punished!" he said with a puffed chest and walked towards his mirror again.

"What are you doing?" Percival asked with a frown.

John turned and looked at him as if he was an idiot which pissed the latter off instantly, "obviously I'm going to fix my hair, duh! And you!" he said pointing at Robert.

"Your collar is messy, your hair needs less gel, your shoes are dirty, and your face hasn't been washed. You look like a pig straight out of a farm. No girl will ever like you." He commented with a straight face and made his way to his mirror with brisk steps.

Me and Percival instantly saw a vein pop on Robert's face. I tried to hold my laughter in as I saw his face turn increasingly red from rage.

As if something snapped, he shouted, "YOU UNGRATEFUL SHIT!" and stomped his way over and smashed John over the head with his fist. Percival was shocked which puzzled me.

"Robert is never violet. He is one of those pacifist people who abhor violence." He said as he looked back up at the raging Robert who looked like a savage. I couldn't help but laugh this time. John's face was looking more and more like a pig than a human face. I was astounded at the pummelling he was receiving from the 'gentle' kid. But my laugh seemed to have caught Roberts attention as he raised his head and looked at me with anger. That surprised me, was he in a blind fit of rage?

As the former was heading over, I raised my hand, "that's enough," I said, and Robert instantly began to levitate on the spot unable to move forward any longer. He could only wave his arms wildly in protest.

I waved my hand again at a stream of water shot into his face soaking him through. It seemed to have woken him up as he looked at me blankly.

It was only several minutes later that Robert was sitting on the bed with dry clothes which interestingly enough, addressed the issues John had picked up on.

I then looked at the heavily injured John as did everyone else. Fred looked even more amused which made me smile slightly. The kid did seem to have some life in him. I then stood up under the gaze of everyone and walked over to John. I crouched down and used the healing ability in my eye. Under the stupefied gazes of everyone present, John's face began to heal as if time was being winded backwards. In a matter of moments, the kid was back to his healthy self.

When he woke up, he instantly perked up and looked at Robert before pointing at me, "YOU ARE A SAVAGE LIKE THE REST OF THEM!" he shouted angrily before getting up and going to his mirror and beginning to fix his hair from scratch. All under the numb looks from everyone else in the room.

I looked at John as if he was an idiot. Who can be so idiotic? It must be an ability of his. And if it was, it wouldn't be one I was willing to absorb. Who knew what drawbacks it has? What if it made me as transfixed on my hair as this idiot?

By now, everyone was done with their things and John had fixed his hair in a much faster time. but I had to say, he had some crazy nice hair. It seems that even though he was an idiot, he still had some skills.

The two students that Robert came in with didn't stay to enjoy the fun show. I didn't really mind; they didn't seem like people who could appreciate a good time. soon after, the four of us with a complaining John in tow made our way to the first floor where Jenna was adding something to the map.
