Rex and Albion are staring at each other and having their own respective thoughts about each other.
In Albion's case, the Vanishing Dragon is impressed with his new host. He could see Rex's limitless potential to become the strongest of all. It seems Gabriel was right when she promised him that she would give him a worthy host for his power.
In Rex's case, he felt excited. Well he knows about the powers of High school DXD. For him, the most interesting thing in that anime is Sacred gears.
Sacred gears also known as God's Artifacts are items with powerful abilities bestowed upon humans by God of the Bible. They are one of the main points of interest in the High School DxD.
The original God of the Bible created the Sacred Gears as part of his system to enact miracles on Earth.
It has been stated that certain individuals with Sacred Gears have grown to become very powerful and influential and that a large number of the people who've had their names etched into history, were most likely Sacred Gear possessors.
Sacred Gears varies from common to rare with the only exception being the Longinus, which are all unique in their own way. If a Sacred Gear is removed from the owner, they would die.
Humans or Human hybrids are the only species able to be born with Sacred Gears. But there are some exceptions in the system created by the God of Bible.
Aside from the normal Sacred Gears, there are also the Longinus. Longinus are unique top-tier Sacred Gears, with each having multiple abilities compared to a normal Sacred Gear which only has one, and has the power to slay Gods. This class of Sacred Gears are also known as the tools that destroy God. There are 18 Longinus in total in which the original 13 of them created by the God of the Bible and 5 are evolved in the longinus tier.
The Longinus are also known as the Embodiments of God's Destruction, the Divine Destruction Tools and the Supreme Sacred Gears. The Longinus class of Sacred Gears are named for the first Sacred Gear to achieve this level of power: the True Longinus.
Rex was fascinated with the sacred gears mainly the longinus ones. His personal favorites are Zenith Tempest, Dimension lost, Boosted gear, Divine dividing and Annihilation maker.
Rex got Divine Dividing which could make him strongest if wielded in the right way. The ability to Divide the power of its opponents by half after coming into physical contact with them every 10 seconds. The halved powers are then added to his/her own powers.
If Rex wields it in the right and impossible way, it will evolve further to the point where it will become strongest and surpass all longinus sacred gears.
Then Rex decides to come out with his thoughts and asks his new partner about him.
Rex: Albion, could you answer my questions that I am going to ask?
Albion: You can ask me anything you want.
Rex: When you first called my name, you know that I was going to be the host of Divine dividing. Did you know about it?
Albion: Yes I knew that. The God of Multiverse and Time traveller told me about you. Honestly they are right. You have the potential to become the most powerful.
Rex: Ok. Now onto the next question. How did you meet Gabriel and Paradox?
Albion: The world where I originally belonged was destroyed by a powerful monster. That monster is Trihexa also known as Beast of Apocalypse(666). Everyone died when they fought against the beast. My previous host died in that battle against it. That's where I met those two who later saved me.
Rex could feel Albion's sadness. It seems he asked a sensitive topic.
Rex: Sorry for your loss, Albion. It seems you cared for your previous host. By the way, who was your previous host before me?
Albion: His name was Issei Pendragon Sparda . He was the strongest white dragon emperor that anyone had seen.
Hearing the name, Rex was surprised that the main character of DXD was the White Dragon emperor. Also it gives him the information that Issei is a descendant of both Sparda and Pendragon in an alternate world of DXD. He knows who Sparda and Pendragon are.
Rex: Did you say Sparda and Pendragon?
Albion: Yes. Issei was the son of the Dark Knight Sparda and Eva Pendragon. He was a human-demon hybrid and later became a dragon-demon hybrid. His skills and powers were at an unimaginable level where he could defeat and fight anyone easily.
Rex: Did Issei die by fighting Trihexa?
Albion: Issei died when fought against Trihexa but he destroyed the monster completely before his death due to his serious injuries.
It also seems that Issei was very strong unlike his Cannon counterpart. He would like to meet him in person if he was alive. But now let's continue the discussion.
Rex: What happened to other longinus sacred gears?
Albion: About that most of the longinus are destroyed. Those are True longinus, Zenith Tempest, Dimension lost, Annihilation maker, Boosted gear, Regulus Nemea, Absolute Demise, Incinerate Anthem, Telos Karma, Innovate clear, Sephiroth Grael, Nereid Kyrie, Star Buster Star Blaster, Alphecca Tyrant and Unknown Dictator. Although the longinus is not easy to destroy, all those mentioned above were destroyed after the death of their respective wielders in the battle against Beast of Apocalypse.
Rex was surprised to hear that most of the longinus sacred gears are destroyed as they should be practically indestructible. But it proves his theory that nothing is indestructible and can be destroyed at the end.
Rex: What about Canis Lykaon?
Albion: It is inside of you. But you can't unlock it in your current state as you are still a baby physically even if you are an adult mentally.
It was another shocking news for Rex. He not only has Divine dividing but also another one that is Canis Lykaon.
Rex: How did I did get to contact with you?
Albion: Because in your current state and level of power, you are only able to contact me.
Rex: Thanks for the answering my questions Albion. Now we are partners, we both will get to know about each other as the life continues and my goal is to become the strongest. Will you lend me your power Albion?
Albion: Yes I will give you my power Rex. You have a strong will and determination to achieve it.
From that onwards, Rex begins his journey to become the strongest in the Marvel universe.
