Author's note: Hello readers. I'm gonna put on hold my other story Marvel: Enigma. I want to completely focus on this story for now. Who wants MC to have a single love interest? [Bellwood, USA 2004]
Rex finally found the artefact that he is looking for. The treasure belongs to the ancient civilization that hid it thousands of years ago.
He got the location after studying the clues and other artefacts related to it. It is hidden in Mexico.
Rex: According to all the clues, the artefact must be hidden here. Albion do you feel the energy?
Albion: [It is, partner. It is clearly hidden by a god but not a very powerful one.]
Rex: Thanks for your confirmation, Albion.
Albion: [How will you go there?]
Rex didn't answer anything. Instead there was blue flash light in his place. After light goes down, in the place of Rex, there is a humanoid velociraptor alien. He has black orbs on his feet, a dark blue black tail with 3 white stripes, and bulky claws on his 3 fingers that can only open and close. He wears a dark blue black cone-like helmet with a protective visor that slides over his face. When the visor is lifted, one can see his blue face, blue eyes, black lips, and stripes running under and in between his eyes. It's clothing had longer sleeves with a pair of stripes under the shoulders and has an arrow-shaped symbol on his lower torso. He wore the blue Omnitrix symbol on his dark blue chest.(Imagine Ben 10000's XLR8 with blue colour)
Rex: Like this, partner.
Albion is not surprised anymore. In these years, he got know about the Omnitrix from his host. He was amazed with its power. The ability to transform into a multitude of alien species is in the form of a watch.
Without further ado, Rex goes towards Mexico with an unbelievable speed that no can catch him and even see him as blurr.

[Mexico, 2004]
In a deep forest, which is surrounded by mountains and rivers.
But that is not important now. As we see something fast coming there. It stops and checks it's surroundings.
In a second, there is blue light that covers it. The light goes down and reveals the person. It is none other than Rex Tennyson.
His current attire consists of dark blue leather jacket with white t-shirt, black Jeans with brown combat boots.
On his left hand, the Omnitrix is present. But it was different from before when Paradox gave to him. It is looking more like a wrist watch rather than a wristband.
Rex equipped the Omnitrix on his 18th birthday. He modified the Omnitrix according to his taste.
The Omnitrix was not completely same as it was still a prototype version. There were some issues and Rex fixed every single one of them.
Due to those modifications made by Rex, the Omnitrix got recalibrated and change into its wrist watch which is exactly similar from alien force.
Rex unlocked the master control and access to most of the functions of the Omnitrix. He also has some additional features like a cloaking function to make it look like a bracelet.
Now Rex sees that he is in a forest of Mexico. The artefact that he is searching for is the sword of Ek Chuaj.
This artefact was also mentioned and shown in classic Ben 10 series. It belongs to the Maya civilization of the Mesoamerican people is known by its ancient temples and glyphs.
Rex found out about the weapon when he got the Mask of Ah Puch which is the only key to the temple where the weapon is hidden.
He wants to collect it as he doesn't want the weapon to fall in wrong hands.
