So, when Laurel looked greedily at the bracelet, Elize didn't hesitate to give it to her because it was all a part of the plan. Laurel ended up wearing the fake bracelet. With the glamor on, she looked like Elize with the Amber Moonstone. The demon fell for the trick very easily. As for Caleb and Elize, they just fell into the character. It was important for Caleb to convince the demon and Laurel that he was fighting for Elize. Moreover, he got to punch the demon to his heart's content. 

Even Auril was more than happy to give the three demons a taste of their medicine. He had heard from the messenger birds that demons had inhabited a certain cave in Fulshire forests and he didn't like it at all.
