Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - The Warning
It was almost 5 hours that we are traveling on the road. We have to stop in a small town because we are running out of gas. While we are waiting. I decided to go out of the van and go to a mini store that was just ahead of the Gas Station.
As I opened the door. Suddenly a cold wind blows and sent shivers to my body. It was weird, but I just ignored it. I am looking for Icecream, thank God. They are still available in this small store. I grabbed three Ice creams and was about to pay at the counter when suddenly I bumped into an old lady.
" I'm so sorry" I apologized while helping her to pick up her groceries on the floor.
" It's ok, it's my-" her sentence cut off as she stared at me
" What's the matter? " I asked.
It was weird, the way she looked at me. She's like so shocked like she saw a ghost or something.
" There is something bad that will happen to you and your friends." she said while staring at me seriously.
" Excuse me? What do you mean?" I asked with confusion.
" You all have to go back to the city now " she begged.
I just stared at her with confusion, she seems telling the truth. Is she a fortune teller or something?
" You're all in great danger! "
" Excuse me? but what are you talking about? Yea we are on a trip- "
" There will be something bad that happens to your friends and also to you" she cut me off
" Huh? What do you mean? " I asked.
" A demon wants your soul because you are her bloodline " she explained
That made me laugh.
" Seriously? a demon. I don't believe in supernaturals Ma'am. " I said.
" You have to believe me!" she said while holding my hands.
I can't understand why She keeps convincing me. Until Luis Gets inside the store.
" Hey Lean? What you took so long? " Luis asked.
" Oh, sorry Luis " I answered.
" You have to go back. You're all in great danger, she wants you, she wants you! Zharlean Mandie Francisco Villan! "
I was shocked. Even Luis. How did she know my name?
" Ho-how did you know my name? " I asked.
" It doesn't matter. Just do what I said." As she said that she left the store.
I stared at the back of the lady as she walks away. I was confused, how did she know my whole name? Does she know me? I was busy minding my thoughts. When Luis Shouted in irritation.
" Earth to Zharlean! " Luis Shouted.
" Ahhh! " I shouted because of schoked.
" Let's go, I already paid for it. "
As he said that we left the store while holding hands.
" What you guys took so long? " Psy asked.
" Nothing just a small problem. " I lied.
Psy just nodded and get inside the van as well as Luis.
" Does the lady tell you was true? " I glance at the person who asked me.
" ahm? what? What did she say?" I acted innocently
Jake grabbed me towards the back of the van. I didn't have a chance to struggle because he was too strong.
" I know what I heard. So explain it. Why the hell! that old woman said that we will die? "
I just stared at the ground, I am afraid to meet his eyes because I know he is looking with his death glare.
" I-I don't know? " I said nervously.
" What do you mean you don't know? She knows you. " He's gritting his teeth while saying that.
" Hey Jake, enough! " Luis said.
" I'm just asking a question, Luis. " Jake said in a cold voice.
" I know the old woman is creepy, but you don't have to treat Lean like that. Who knows if she's telling the truth? It's a big deal for us because she knows Lean's full name. Well, maybe she just bumped at Lean and accidentally saw Lean name at her waller, right?"
" I- I don't know what she's saying. "
" Yea yea whatever... " Jake said and get in the car.
" Hey! "
Luis cupped my face forcing me to look at him.
" It's gonna be alright, the old woman is wrong we will enjoy this trip ok? we'll gonna be safe. " He said while his eyes staring at mine.
" Don't mind, what she said ok? " He said.
I just nodded in response. Then he smiled and kiss me on the forehead.
It was a long ride and we finally reach our destination. We love camping, We love to go out of town to have an adventure.
It's already 5:37 in the afternoon, it's almost dawn. All we could see in the surroundings are grass and trees.
" Luis? We will be the ones who will build the tent ok? " Psy said while grabbing all the things at the back of the van.
" Hey! Zharlean! Hurry and film us, you don't wanna miss all the crazy stuff right? " Abbie shouted and winked at me.
" Oh! Yes, Thank you for the reminder. " As I said, I grabbed my camera and started to film.
While they are building a bonfire I asked them what their feelings were.
" I am so excited! " Mavis Shouted as she giggled.
I just laughed because of her reaction.
Out of nowhere. I remembered what the old lady said.
" There will be something bad that will happen to you and your friends. "

" Danger! "
" Wants your soul! "
" Hey, Lean are you ok? "
I came back to my sense as Psy asked me.
" Ahmm, yeah I'm ok. " I said.
" Then let's go, the dinner is ready Mavis cooked it. " She giggled.
Mavis, Abbie, and Callie cooked our dinner. They cooked chicken soup. It was so delicious. While I was recording they are busy eating their dinner. Then suddenly I felt someone is watching us. I looked at the trees it felt like there's is someone there, but we can't see him/her. It's kinda weird and creepy. I just ignored the thoughts again and joined what they are laughing for.
" Zharlean, is this yours? "
Abbie said as he handed me a portfolio.
That made me confused.
" How come? " I asked.
" Well, it has a surname written on its cover. " Khenjo said.
As he said that our attention is on the portfolio that I am holding.
I read the cover and it's written in Italic Font and it reads Francisco.
" How comes that my middle name is written on its cover? " I asked and my face was confused.
" Hmmm, I don't know. " He said.
" Let me see. " Luis said and grabbed the portfolio to my hand.
Suddenly a cold wind blows as he opens it. It gave as shivers.
" Woah! T- that's creepy. " Mavis said with a nervous tone
Even we got scared because it gave us goosebumps.
" That's Weird. " Jake said with a serious face.
" Hey! Zharlean Is this Auntie? " Luis asked.
" Yes. " I answered
" Who's with her? " Abbie asked.
I glanced at the photo that they were talking about and I saw Mom together with my Uncle Nathan.
" My Uncle. " As I said that A tear drops from my eyes and I immediately wipe it.
" Where he is?" This time Jake asked.
" He's Dead. "
As I said that they all want silent. Then we decided to read what was on the portfolio.
