As I sat and looked at the floating blue screen in wonder, I slowly felt information flow into my mind, like a small calm stream flowing into a creek, it felt kind of calming.

At that moment my mind was clear, but the realization also hit me, "I'm in an anime world…"
'I feel stupid for not realizing right away…' Although I heard of Naruto, I only watched the first few episodes.
But after that 'download', I feel I can recall anything with prefect accuracy, it's like having pseudo eidetic memory, the weird part being I couldn't even remember my phone number in my last life…
Damn, this is a weird ass feeling having so much future knowledge, like since it's January 8th 1666, I know Haku will be born tomorrow, that's how good my knowledge is!
A *Ding* resounded in my head, and the system panel opened
'I forgot about that thing, it should be pretty helpful since it gave me all this knowledge.'

I was stunned for a second on how fast it downloaded, but this 'System' thing made me very curious, it could make me a lot stronger, and even help me achieve Kara's dream.
'Status' I thought to myself, and the blue panel appeared before me.

Navigating to my inventory, I selected the Card and clicked the use button.

[Activation] Resolve: Increases natural regeneration by 100x, decreases 'Sanity' by a rate of 5/minute, when active.
[Passive] Uncounted Blow: Fatal Hits don't count, activates automatically, costs 15 'Sanity' to cast.
[Ultimate] Genocidal: Once 'Sanity' drops to zero, 'Resolve' automatically activates for 5 minutes, user will inflicted with Status effect: 'Bloodlust', which will multiply all stats by two, after the 5 minutes the user will pass out.

'It's a really good ability, I would be happy to sacrifice my sanity if that means I make it out of a fight alive, though I do wonder if my maximum 'Sanity' will increase with my level.' I thought as I analyzed the ability.
Closing all the 'System' tabs, I decided to open the shop, as I could tell it was way past opening time.
I went and turned on the lights before going and unlocking the doors, and flipping the sign, so people could see that it's open.
Going behind the front desk, I prepared myself to be standing there all day

It was around closing time of the store, so I locked the doors, flipped the sign to show that it's closed, and turned off the lights.
Returning to my bedroom, I sat down on my futon before letting out a deep sigh, 'Not a single damn person came to buy anything!' I cursed in my mind.
But it couldn't be helped, not only were we in a middle of a war, I wasn't located in a popular part of town, currently I was only living on my savings, most of it is the inheritance from my parents.
With the ongoing war, the little amount of customers, and my savings getting smaller and smaller, I won't be able to last for long, there has to be another way to make money.
A *Ding* resounded through my head again, before the system screen opened in front of me, showing me a quest.

'My own system has taken pity on me, but I'm not complaining,10k Ryo is the same as two D-Rank Missions and my chakra will be fixed.' I thought with a happy expression, although it's not enough for me to get out of my current situation, it'll help with getting on my feet.
Walking out of my room, I went and grabbed the small box of Chakra Paper, and returned to my room before sitting down.
'Surprisingly, Kara never checked his chakra, due to his Chakra Circuit being messed up he could never use chakra properly.' I thought before opening the small box and taking a piece of paper out.
(A:N, MC does have Chakra, but he isn't able to mold it in his body, or enhance his body, as he'll use too much and collapse due to chakra exhaustion.)
The Chakra Paper was white and as small as a sticky note, it's sold in small packets of three since most of the people who buy it, are Jonin teachers.
Focusing as hard as I could, I injected a small bit of chakra into the paper.
(MC already had his Chakra unlocked before, it's just when he unlocked it they realized his defect, it makes sense okay…)
The paper turned slightly damp on one side, and wrinkled on the other side, 'Lighting and Water huh, what a weird combination for an Uchiha.'
*Ding*
Opening my status, I navigated it towards the quest section, but not before noticing, that I used up half of my chakra on the paper… 'Is my Chakra Circuit that shitty?' I cursed in my head, at least it was going to get fixed now.

Clicking the accept button, a stack of Ryo fell on the floor in front of me, and another *Ding* went off in my head, before I could check the quest I just unlocked, a small green glow was emitted from my chest.
At first it felt pleasant, then it suddenly changed to hot searing pain throughout my entire Chakra Circuit, it felt like someone just rubbed a Carolina Reaper all over my veins.
It was twice as painful as the headache I got the first time, but I was sitting on my futon, so I calmly moved over and laid down, taking deep breaths while I did.

Sorry for the late chapter, started writing a little late today, wasn't feeling super motivated, but I'll try to squeeze two out tomorrow if I can, oh I didn't proofread this either, I'm just kind of hoping for the best lol.
