Chapter 3: Kidnapped
Mr Gustavo sighed helplessly as his daughter ran out of the house,this wasn't what he wanted but what could he do? it was for her own good and safety,he knew Mr Qin was coming for him and it wouldn't take him long to find him here. He also didn't want his daughter to be caught in his problems,he sighed again and locked the door and went up to his room,upon reaching his room,he went straight to his locker and brought out an old photo of his dear wife,staring at it...he didn't know when a tear dropped on the picture and he sniffed and wiped away his tears.
"If only you were here,our daughter wouldn't be in this mess,i miss you so much honey!" he said and sat down on the bed,bringing the picture to his chest,he laid on the bed and closed his eyes reminiscing on the past.

"Father I'm back...huh where is Father?" Ariene called as she entered the house,she looked around the sitting room but didn't see him and she became alerted. She rushed to his room but he wasn't there and her heart began to beat on a fast pace,she hadn't forgotten what happened in the morning and thus she was afraid.
"Phew!!...Father! you scared me!! i was looking for you" she sighed and said as she entered her own room,her father was in her room. "But Father that's my bag,what are you doing with my bag? and all my clothes are packed? what for?!" she asked as she saw her bag was already packed,it greatly confused her.
"Riene..... you have to leave now!" Mr Gustavo suddenly said to the dismay of her daughter.
"What for!?" She asked her Father with a frown visible on her face.
"I don't have time to answer you Ariene, i will give you enough money,take it and leave the city,go to another city and don't come back" He said sternly.
"Father! i am not leaving! not until you tell me what the hell is going on,you raised your voice at me today first time in history! And now you are sending me away? I won't buy it, not at all!" Ariene was truly upset,never in her life did she think that her Father who loved and cherished her would send her away.
"Riene..listen to Father! Just leave please,go far,to a far away place,please...Do not come back unless i ask you to" Her father said with sadness in his voice,he loved his daughter so very much that he would not want any harm befall her.
"Father! I said i am not going anywhere until you tell me what is happening" She said and stormed out of the house.
"Riene! come ba...." He sighed seeing his daughter had already left the house,she was stubborn just like him...she won't listen to him unless he tells her everything that is happening which was a very difficult thing to say and not knowing where to start too. Was he going to tell her the fact that he had been working for an evil notorious underworld drug Lord for years? Or was he going to tell her the fact that leaving their place of origin was as a result of him running away from the man? Or the fact that the man called him earlier today threatening him? He just didn't know what he should tell her and wasn't even ready to do that.
Mr Gustavo held his chest as he sat on his daughter's bed with tears in his eyes,all the things happening now were all his faults....If only he hadn't joined the Qins in doing dirty jobs for them,he wouldn't have ended up the in this bad situation. He sighed deeply and wiped away his tears.

It was 10pm and Ariene wasn't back home leaving her Father terribly worried that he kept checking his wristwatch counteless times.
"Where could Ariene be? it's past ten already and she isn't back home...this is all my fault, i shouldn't have raised my voice at her again, what if Mr Qin sees her? what will i do? God please help me..." Mr Gustavo said to himself as he walked around the sitting room while checking his wristwatch.
Not long after he heard a knock on his door and he leapt in joy,with happiness he rushed to the door to open it for his dear daughter.
"Riene.....Father is so....." he abruptly stopped on his words as he stared with terror at the men on black that were standing outside his door.
"We are here to take you Mr Gustavo....come with us!" The leader said and began to drag him away while he kept struggling.
"Get your hands off me!! leave me alone !" he continued to shout as they dragged him away,he was already old and he was without any object to aid him even if he wanted to engage in a fight.
"Father!!!" Ariene called as she saw her Father been taken away by men she didn't know.
"Riene am sorry okay?! It's all my fault that all these are happening....go inside and don't come out,do not bother looking for me!" Her father shouted with tears as they dragged him inside the black van and instantly drove off.
